I generally hate perfume. I can stand heavy scents and I usually avoid the perfume aisle, but I really really like Guerlain's Aqua Allegoria series. The scents tend to be very fresh and light like they were made for people that really don't like perfume. Herba Fresca is probably my favourite. It's one of the more delicate scents, which kind of mimics the scent of fresh cut grass or herbal tea. It's easily something you can use day to day and I've more than once walked into a room with someone later commenting on "that nice, fresh smell!" -

The third part of the book kind of drags on, which I think is a symptom of the book being originally released in Japan in three separate parts. I'm used to long books and I didn't actually find the book long, but it lags unnecessarily in parts. -

I've read several Murakami novels and this is by far my favourite. Considering several of his books can run a little aimlessly long, Sputnik Sweetheart is relatively short and sweet. The story is his typical fantastical style, layered with Murakami's philosophy. It truly reflects on the beauty of the short and fleeting relationships we have with people. Someone can have such a great impact on our lives and within that whirlwind, move out of it so quickly. -

Avene Cicalfate Repair Cream
I really love this cream. It's not too expensive either, considering Avene is generally a higher quality brand. I like that it leaves my skin moisturized, but not oily. The zinc really helps for healing scratches and blemishes.
