I've read several Murakami novels and this is by far my favourite. Considering several of his books can run a little aimlessly long, Sputnik Sweetheart is relatively short and sweet. The story is his typical fantastical style, layered with Murakami's philosophy. It truly reflects on the beauty of the short and fleeting relationships we have with people. Someone can have such a great impact on our lives and within that whirlwind, move out of it so quickly.

i love Haruki Murakami but this is my least favorite book among his novels. i'm not saying it's a bad novel.

this novel revolves around an unusual love story that opens your mind to a different perspective. after reading a haruki murakami novel, it will definitely change you as he influences your way of thinking.
