This is an all you can eat style buffet, with servers going around clearing plates as well as providing beverages. In the summer, they have a drink called "Blue Lemonade" if I remember correctly and it's absolutely amazing. The food selection is pretty large and does seem to vary from season to season. The desserts are always great as well. I do find it a little pricey for a buffet as I have had higher quality food for the same price.
For those visiting Ottawa - this place is often able to accommodate large groups and families on short notice, and in the summer, when the area is packed with tourists they will often accommodate tour groups. It's best to make a reservation.

This was, by far, the best vegan restaurant in Ottawa. Providing excellent, gourmet meals that met their 5 star rating always came first, the fact that they were fully vegan, including their wines, was just a cherry on top. The place would be packed and you often couldn't get in without a reservation. I could keep going about the phenomenal meals, service, wines and events the place was home to, but it just breaks my heart as the restaurant is now closed.
It was a huge loss to the vegan community.
So once again, Ottawa's best vegan restaurant, and one of the best fine dining restaurants, has now closed it's doors permanently and is no longer around.

I'm honestly impressed with MacDonald's coffee considering I'm not too big on their food. Seems like Tim Horton's has got themselves some competition as the coffees are similar in quality and price. I do find that when I order it with sugar and cream they make it much sweeter than other places and it's a little too sweet sometimes. -

I though this cleanser was good, it really removed dirt from my face and any left over makeup, but I found it a little harsh on my skin. My skin felt dried out overtime as I used this product, so I highly recommend using a good moisturizer overnight. -

The Face Shop is famous for it's masks and this one is probably one of my favourites - it's simple to use, you just open the package, get the mask out, unfold it and place it on your face. You leave it for 15 min or so and then throw it out. My skin gets very dry over winter season and I found this mask to be a great solution in combating my skin losing all moisture. One thing I'm not too fond of is that I do find the product takes quite some time to absorb and the following morning I do feel a bit of a residue on my face. -

I got these on sale and they very cheap. I was excited to try them out. I followed the instructions accurately, but the product didn't work for me well. It's a simple strip that you place on a wet surface, let dry, and then when you peel it off, it removes all blackheads. But unfortunately I found that only minimal amounts of blackheads were removed. The strips didn't hurt when peeling which was good, but I am willing to try something more painful if it will remove the blackheads more effectively. -

This is the holy grail of BB creams and it will do everything that a BB cream promises it will do. It's light, applies easily and creates a smooth finish. When first applied, it might look a little gray, but after about 15 minutes the colour will perfectly match your skin tone. The moisturizing effect keeps your skin soft while evening out any wrinkles and covering up blemishes while it helps to reduce them long term. This last the whole day, especially if you use setting spray.
The only downside of this product is that it's generally hard to find in stores and you have to order it online.

When I first heard that BB cream is coming to North America and will be available in drugstores I was beyond ecstatic. I normally would order my BB cream online from Korea and pay the pricey shipping. This product is a let down. It's not a BB cream at all. It's a standard foundation that also will turn darker and orange once applied and exposed to light whereas a BB cream will match your skin tone. Even their light tone is too dark for pale people. It stays on ok, but it's not build-able. The price is good, but do treat it like standard foundation rather than a BB cream. -

It is recommended you apply it just before bed and let it do the work overnight. If you wake up and feel any residue, they recommend you wash it off, though I've never had that issue. The packaging looks like it's meant for one use, but it in fact lasts me 3. My skin dries out a lot in winter and then starts to break out - this product does such a phenomenal job moisturizing overnight I wake up with beautiful, clear, soft skin. -

I love this blush - it's very affordable and currently comes in a variety of colours with a small blush brush included. I actually use the "coral" one for light contouring and then use "live pink" to add some colour to my cheeks. This blush blends easily and it stays on for the whole day. When applying it, use it gently at first as it is very pigmented and you can easily make yourself look like a clown. I also recommend setting it with setting spray so it doesn't rub off. -
