My hair has been feeling pretty dry and weak lately (especially after some heat styling and color treatments), so I was really curious to see if this would make a difference — and it did.
Texture & Application:
The shampoo has a creamy, rich texture that lathers up nicely without feeling too heavy. It cleansed my scalp well without stripping my hair dry. The conditioner is thick and feels super nourishing — it coats the hair well without being greasy.
Immediate Impressions:
After the first few washes, my hair already felt a little smoother and less tangled. I noticed I wasn't shedding as much in the shower, and my ends didn’t feel as rough.
After 14 Days:
Now that it’s been two weeks, the real difference is in the strength and softness of my hair. It feels stronger — like it’s less prone to snapping when I brush it. Also, it looks shinier and feels healthier overall. I even got a few compliments on how "fresh" and "glossy" my hair looked!
Fragrance:
It smells really nice too — kind of like a soft, clean, slightly sweet scent. Not too overpowering but lingers enough to make my hair smell fresh all day.
Downsides:
If you have super fine hair, it might feel a tiny bit heavy if you use too much conditioner. I had to adjust the amount after the first few uses.
Final Verdict:
For a drugstore product, the OGX® Bond Protein Repair line seriously delivered. It’s not a miracle overnight, but if you’re consistent, you’ll notice a real improvement in strength and softness. I’ll definitely keep it in my rotation!
