Perfect for kids sensitive skin
I’ve received this product for free in exchange for my honest review and it’s perfect for my kids sensitive skin it really protects their skin from the powerful sun ray ☺️ . Will definitely recommend this product.
My new favourite mineral sun protection
I was blown away by this product! Applies easily, dries clear (which is a huge plus if you’ve ever used mineral sunscreen) making is so great for all skin types. I love that it provides a broad uva/uvb protection with an spf of 50. The water resistance up to 80 minutes means you can let the littles play uninterrupted for reapplication. I can’t wait to try other products from blue lizard.
Great Kids Mineral Sunscreen
Great working and long lasting water resistant sunscreen. Easy to apply, spreads generously and no oily residue. Works great in the pool no sign of sunburn at all. Great product all around
Non greasy, good sun protection
Great sunscreen, not too greasy or thick. Went on easily and my kids didn't mind it at all. Pleasant smell to the product and glad it provides great sun protection to my kids. Would definitely buy this product.
White cast
So it leaves a very bad white case which turns the face shades of blue and purple after some time ! Very very greasy and made the skin look very sticky and unkept , we gave it multiple tries but it just did not work for us
Not to consider as our sun protection
Many negative reviews about Blue Lizard Kids/Baby Sunscreen report issues such as skin irritation, including rashes, redness, burning, and allergic reactions, often linked to ingredients like phenoxyethanol, chlorphenesin, silicones, and PEGs. Users also complain about a heavy white cast, especially on darker skin tones, making it difficult to blend. The sunscreen is often described as too thick, sticky, and hard to apply or remove, sometimes requiring multiple showers. Some parents report that the protection doesn't hold well, with their kids getting sunburned after sweating or swimming. Additionally, there are frequent complaints about packaging problems, including leaking bottles and broken caps. As a result, many turn to alternatives like Thinkkids, Badger, or Pipette, which are considered gentler for sensitive skin. That’s why we didn’t try it. I know that the smell is too much and the texture is sooooo thick
Great sunscreen!!
I am always on the hunt for non-toxic alternatives for my kids. This is a mineral sunscreen specifically formulated for kids' sensitive skin and contains nourishing ingredients like blue algae. This product is SPF 50, providing protection from up to 98% of UVB rays. To be honest, I was a bit turned off at first when I squeezed the tube. It came out bright white! But this product melts into skin, making it 'almost' invisible. It does not have a strong scent, which I actually like. It leaves skin smooth and not sticky! I would definitely recommend and repurchase!
Excellent for kids
Blue Lizard Kids Enchant sunscreen is designed to make sun protection fun for kids. It contains mineral-based active ingredients, like zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, which are gentle on sensitive skin.
The unique feature is that it changes color when exposed to UV light, so kids can see when it's working. It’s also fragrance-free and paraben-free, which is great for avoiding irritants.
The downside is that it can leave a white cast on the skin, which requires thorough rubbing. However, it's water-resistant and provides broad-spectrum protection, making it a reliable option for keeping your little ones safe in the sun.
Best sunscreen for kids
A summer essential: Blue Lizard SPF 50
Mineral Sunscreen!
Perfect for sensitive skin, with soothing aloe vera
Its water-resistant formula is always with meat the beach, in the park, or on a bike ride!
Great, but like every other sunscreen
For me, it's a texture thing. This sunscreen gets the job done but thick sunscreen is not for me! Not to mention applying it on children, I've found that I prefer something a little easier.
