I always love earl grey creme because it pairs so well with milk. The Osmanthus petals on the ingredient list made me curious and want to try this tea. The Bisou tea has a very strong floral scent and taste and vanilla taste. The tea has a very strong vanilla node at first sip. As the tea steep, the deep dark flavor of the tea flavors come out. I tried it as is and with sweet and condense milk. I would add little bit of sugar or honey to make it a little sweeter or add sweet and condense milk to round out the flavor more

Sometimes in winter, I feel like a dried prune and my usual skincare and body care just do not work as well. The L’Occitane Karité Comfort Ultra Rich Body Cream and it has been such a lifesaver. It comes in their classic shea butter scent.
I have been using a lot of products from L’Occitane, from hand creams and body creams to hand soap and their Immortelle Overnight Reset Serum. This ultra rich body cream is much thicker than their regular body or hand creams, so even a small jar goes a long way. Even though it is super rich, it spreads easily and absorbs quickly without leaving a sticky or oily finish.
I tested it on my hands and it instantly made them feel soft while creating a nice protective barrier. Even after washing my hands, they still feel moisturized and I do not feel the need to reapply right away.
Definitely a long lasting winter essential.

The kind of stuffing that I don’t mind having every Thanksgiving! It tastes like it and has better texture than the actual dish. To be frank, it tastes better than the actual stuffing. It is crispy and has a strong flavor of chicken and gravy. It got me checking the bag for ingredients to see what this magic is.
I totally don’t mind having the Hardbites Turkey Stuffing served on the dinner table instead of the real thing. I will take the crispy texture over the soggy mush that we usually have.
I like this flavor as a seasonal flavor but if I still like their lighter flavours like avocado lime and all natural more for everyday snack.

I recently tried their Ammas Sambal sauce. It is a Malaysian chili paste with a thick consistency. This is not the version of smabal with the shrimp paste. This is perfect for me since I can’t have shellfish. The sauce hits you with a bright tomato tang then the heat kicks in from Thai chili and ginger. They aren’t kidding when the bottle says 8/10 heat. I personally would add a pinch more salt to round it out. The sauce is good for marinades and in stir-fry or even as a soup base. I used it to make some airfry Sambal chicken and it was delicious! If you like heat, highly recommend it.

Great tropical flavor soda that’s the perfect summer drink. It was light and refreshing, slightly fizzy, and not overly sweet. The flavours were lively with the slight bitterness and tang you get from grapefruit perfectly balanced with undertones of guava and hibiscus in the background to intrigue the palette. It’s perfect on its own or acts as a base for drink mix. My hubby loves it as is and I like it with some fresh berries. Overall, a lovely soda for a summer afternoon on the patio.

The natural flavor is quite pleasant to eat. It’s not no flavor like some chips I had as part of hot dog days in elementary school. It is lightly salted and very crispy. I really enjoy the thicker chips. The potato flavor actually comes through. It’s the real deal! Because it is lightly salted, my 2 year old loves it too. Hardbite flavouring and crispiness really make their chips stand out amongst other brands. I highly recommend this.

All dressed was never really my go to flavor because all the ones I tried before is very heavy handed on the vinegar. The Hardbite version of All Dressed is actually very well balanced. It’s not overly sour but well balanced that I can taste the flavor it intended to be. It’s slightly sour, a little sweet with a savoury node. The chip is perfectly crisp and it is pretty thick cut. Both my husband and I love it, we will definitely try their other flavours.

A definitely game changer
We didn't get one before because of the price and not a lot of our friends have one. After using the FoodSaver system, we are quite happy with how easy it is to use. It does help us reduce a lot of waste. We used to wrap our meat in a lot of plaster wrap and then wrap in tin foil and then finally put in ziplock bag to help the meat last longer in the freezer. With the FoodSaver system, we don't have to do that anymore. Our food packing and food storage is done with one simple click.
We haven't had time to try the marinate function yet. I did some research and is excited to try it out to reduce marinating time. The science behind the reduced time because the vacuum functiong help open the pores and fibres of the meat so making the mariade easier to penatrate through the meat.
The best function that I like the most is resealing chip bags. Who like stale chips, right!?

There is a strong peanut butter flavor and lots of peanut butter cups. The peanut butter adds a pleasant slight salted flavor. It’s a nice touch because it’s not like you are hit with sugar after sugar. Overall, the simpliest way to put in, it tastes like eating Reese peanut butter cup with ice cream.
Also a plus that Chapman’s ice cream is made in Canada with 100% Canadian diary. It is easy to find at Superstore and Walmart.

This is such a life saver! My 2 year old is going through a carb loving phase. He has been a struggle to get protein in his diet. This protein pasta is a great solution for us! I love that it is healthy as it uses plant-based ingredients for protein so while eating carbs there is also nutrient. I use it to make a bolognese pasta. When it is not cooked yet, I do noticed that it breaks easily but once it’s cooked it’s the same as traditional pasta. The texture and taste once cooked are very similar to the traditional pastas. I was at first worried that the wheat flour might make it grainy but that’s not the case. He eats it happily without fuss. It’s a definite win-win for us !
