As I hit the big 5-0, the "internal furnace" decided to kick into high gear. I started taking Weliva™ Cimidona® looking for a way to manage the hot flashes and the sudden irritability without jumping straight into hormone therapy. After a few months, here is my honest take.
The best thing I can say is that it definitely does something. About three weeks in, I noticed that my night sweats weren't waking me up as frequently. I felt a bit more "level"—less of those sharp spikes of heat that make you want to stand in a freezer. It’s a relief to find something plant-based that actually takes the edge off the physical discomfort.
If you’re expecting your symptoms to vanish completely, you might be disappointed. For me, the symptoms didn't go away; they just became quieter. I still have the occasional hot flash, and my sleep isn't quite back to what it was five years ago. It’s a gentle support system rather than a complete fix.
I feel supported but still searching. My main concern—and the most important one for me—is that I generally prefer removing mucus and blockages from the nose rather than adding anything into it. That said, despite this initial hesitation, the drops proved to be effective. After using them, they helped loosen and clear everything that was obstructing my child’s nose, which made a noticeable difference in his breathing.
As expected, my baby cried during the application. This seemed to be more due to the unfamiliar sensation and the momentary fright rather than pain or irritation. Once the drops took effect and his nasal passages were clearer, he appeared more comfortable.
In summary, although the application can be distressing for a baby in the moment, the nasal drops did make a positive difference in relieving congestion and improving symptoms. Myoflex was a very positive surprise. First, I appreciated that it is truly non-greasy and odour-free, which made it comfortable to apply at any time without worrying about the scent transferring to clothing or bothering people around me. That alone sets it apart from many similar products.
In terms of effectiveness, I found it worked very well. Within just a couple of minutes of applying it, I started to feel noticeable relief. The discomfort gradually decreased more and more, until the pain was essentially gone. I did not need to reapply frequently, and I did not feel the need to combine it with pills or ice.
