I was so excited to receive this to try and review. I've always had dry skin but wary of greasy formulations. This gel was very creamy, but non greasy. It smelled very refreshing as well and did hydrate my skin. The only complaint is that it did not maintain the moisturization for as long as creams do. Where oily creams will be greasy but also protect the skin from drying out, this gel does the job temporarily. Having said that, a lot of creams also irritate my skin and cause peeling, but this one did not. Overall, i am pretty happy with this product! -

After hearing a lot of positive reviews about shampoo bars, I bought one on sale. It smelled great in the box, just like the other products by this brand. However, seems to leave a residue on my hair that makes it gritty and heavy. Also does not seem to do a good job of cleaning my hair. The smell in the shower is not as good as when it is in the box. I do smell generic soap smells. Happy to keep using my opened box, but not buy more, even if on sale. -

I'm not usually a fan of almond milk, but this brand seems to make it right. It's thick and smooth, quite neutral in flavour but not watery and bland when cold. When you heat it up, a really fragrant bitter almond taste (like a subtle almond extract taste) comes out. It's still quite subtle, so even if you're usually not a fan of almond extract, it's still palatable. If you don't enjoy that almond taste, I don't taste it when drinking it cold. Again, wonderful if you mix it with some instant coffee/espresso - like an almond latte but much cheaper and just 35 calories! I drink this every morning for my calcium and vitamin D. -

It goes on sale often and I bought it on sale once. It did not occur to me different brands of oat milk could taste so different. It somehow tasted more bitter and bland than the Earths Own brand that I usually get, also in unsweetened. Even with instant coffee, which usually makes oat milk taste so good, did not fix the issue. It's not horrible...but if given choice, I would not choose to buy this again. -

Price is very reasonable. Has that subtle Nivea scent, nothing obnoxious. A small amount lathers into a thick and satisfying foam that can double as shaving cream in the shower. What I really like about this product is that it leaves the skin smooth, soft, and well-hydrated after a shower. I used to get dry and itchy skin after showering each time, especially if I used warmer water than I should've (but it feels so good 'cause winters are cold here). The in-shower lotion helped, but was a bit messy to use. This product is perfect! -

Sorry, not the most stellar review. The idea is great, cookies look great, texture was also pretty appetizing. Individual packages are a plus. However, I did not taste anything remotely reminiscent of nut butter. There was an aftertaste that I imagine came either from the vegetable extract or the sweetener used. Speaking of which, for a product that is marketed as healthy, there's a lot of sugar and very little fibre to make me feel like I at least ate something healthy if not tasty. This product sort of falls in between, neither healthy nor tasty. I'd really wanted to like this but couldn't. Might try other flavours -
The intensity of the flavour was unexpected and a pleasant surprise. Usually their products are on the salty side, but this one was not and balanced our drinks perfectly. Highly recommend.

I made shortbread cookies with the Becel bricks. Basically, in terms of the baking process, the Becel brick is definitely easier to work with - they make a more stable dough, and soften up much quicker than butter. However, flavour-wise, I don't taste butteriness and it was disappointing, especially for a shortbread recipe. If I were to do more testing, I might try adding some milk powder or buttermilk powder to boost the dairy flavour, but it would defeat the purpose of choosing a plant-based fat. My conclusion was that I would still likely choose butter over this for the flavour. However if I need a dough that’s stable to manipulate at room temperature, or if I’m baking with children , I would choose this because it keeps its texture better than butter. I do have 3 sticks still in my freezer, so I'll continue to test different baking recipes. I'm hoping to try it for laminated dough at some point as the stability might be advantageous. -
