For $10 (I bought this from an ELF store in the US and it may in fact have been a free product for me that day) the value is fantastic! I love that it has a niacinamide which is a B Vitamin - I am a vitamin/supplement junkie and believe in taking care of my skin from the inside and outside, so I love products that have these elements, like skincare w Vitamin C that gets applied topically as well as taking a VitC supplement daily! My skin feels plump (to help ward off wrinkling and fine lines), moisturized and smooth after I use apply this product (onto cleansed skin), I usually leave it a bit to breathe and soak in before I apply a moisturizer at night - however before writing this review I quickly looked online and not only is niacinamide helpful for acne, rosacea and overall skin health (I don’t have any skin issues other than my skin can tend to the dryer side) it may potentially help protect from UV!! -so I may start applying it in the AM (again giving it a few mins) before I apply my makeup and go out for the day! I am not sure how easy it will be to find here in Canada (I recently saw ELF at Old Navy here but not sure if they have this particular product) but it is DEFINITELY SOMETHING I WOULD REPURCHASE. I don’t love the dropper bottle (but not sure how else I would suggest it be dispensed... perhaps a pump?) I find it’s tricky to get onto my fingers as it liquidy and runs through them, was trying to not put on my palms to conserve product but thats not a show-stopper issue for me (just feel like there may be a better way possibly), the drops do feel a little sticky to me straight out of the bottle (if that’s an issue for you) but feel like it almost applies like water and soaks in/dries quickly. I like the little bottle itself it’s simple in design and cute - I believe both bottle and dropper are glass/ceramic which has a nice weight and I much prefer to plastic! I have not looked into the ingredients but I do believe they are quality especially for the price point. Overall my experience with this product has been great and without any drawbacks - so 5 stars #ELF #Skincare #Beauty #Serum -

I know apricot shell can be controversial , however I have hardy and normal skin (if you have sensitive skin this may not be the product for you) I have a tube of this as a staple (I have been buying for years and years) on-hand almost always - I strictly buy the one with Salicylic Acid (intended for acne-prone skin) which even though I don’t have I love the exfoliation and how smooth it leaves my skin! I don’t use it daily and probably wouldn’t recommend that (unless maybe if you have oily/acne-prone skin) it’s also great for body - I use it on my upper arms (and every once in awhile my entire body for exfoliation) I would absolutely recommend it and have! to people who still use it :) the value is great when you get it for around $4 which is when I buy it and an all-around solid product that provides results you can see! #Skincare #Scrub #Beauty -

I picked this lipbalm up at a pop-up shop (assume overstock bought by someone wholesale) for $3 - it really does make my lips feel wonderful, I gave it 3 stars for two reasons 1) it’s not quite as long lasting as I would like 2) I wouldn’t put lipstick over it (feels like it would be a little too slick for it to adhere) but overall I think it’s a fairly solid product (but if I am honest not sure if I would re-purchase or not, maybe in a pinch or once in a while, but I wouldn’t go hunting for it) I do think the packaging is cute and would be attractive to teens as a first lip balm or with Christmas just having passed got me thinking it would be a perfect stocking stuffer #Skincare #Lipcare #Beauty -

I picked this up to try since it was on sale at Shoppers for about $8 I believe. Definitely the most dramatic liquid liner in how it shows up that I have ever tried and love that!! I gave it 4 stars for two reasons 1) it does get a little crumbly/cakey on me when it dries and 2) after wearing it for awhile, I wouldn’t say this is an all-day wear, I do have to reapply it again late afternoon/early evening if I am continuing my day and want to keep my makeup on - I would buy this again for the effect it does provide! and I admit I do love the name and the packaging the boot is sexy #Makeup #EyeLiner # Beauty -

Initially when I bought this I would say I was NOT a fan - still used it, but at the start there was so much product that come out on the brush that I had to apply some to the mascara wand from my last one and use that for quite awhile... I don’t love having to hang onto my old mascara to be able to use my new one lol I didn’t love the brush I feel like the bristles are too short/soft to separate my lashes (I hate clumpies) and I wouldn’t say it does that but I did find it made my lashes stick together which isn’t a great thing... I thought I wouldn’t buy this again (I think I got it for $10 at Shoppers on sale) and I do like the pink packaging. As I said at the start I did not like it but as I kept using it grew on me; as the product was used more felt like it did work well on my lashes (I already have long lashes what I go for is a mascara that adds volume) and I will say it does work nicely on my lower lashes! By the time I got to the end of it I went from hating it to I would probably buy this again :) I bought the washable one so it would be easy to take off; next time I might try the waterproof one. #Makeup #Mascara #Beauty -

I picked this up from the $20 #perfume clearance shelf at Shoppers - I had assumed it was from France, but an associate overheard me chatting w my friend and clarified it was made in Montreal, Canada, which made me happy since I love supporting Canadian companies. My skin always dramatically changes a #scent so very few work on me, this one is lovely, I would say it’s a little warmer than my Calvin Klein Euphoria - had bought it for spring/summer as a lighter #fragrance, but ended up using it right away this winter (it is definitely less sweet than my usual Pink Sugar - so it’s a nice medium range if those references help :) for me this perfume along w it’s price made it a good buy! I also liked the packaging with the pink as I am always drawn to that colour. I would say it’s worth giving a try if you’re curious :) -

Pink Sugar by Aquolina has been my winter go-to #fragrance for several years - I love the sweet rich vanilla #scent! It develops on my skin beautifully and feels warm and cozy :) If you prefer a floral/lighter #scent this may not be for you - lately I have seen it on the $20 perfume clearance shelf at Shoppers (in Canada) on the regular! So if you wanted to give it a try I would recommend picking it up there (and ensuring you get it lower-risk so to speak ;) I also like the pink and white packaging almost has a vintage fairground resonance. #Perfume -

Please note the brand name is actually Blu•Dot - I tried a little of this at a friends house - so I am not sure how much they cost but it’s a great idea!! Protein Tea!! One bottle has 10gms of protein (which to me is substantial - I am not a fan of when something is advertised as being contained in it but when you read the label it’s in a minuscule amount) The protein in this drink is from Whey (so maybe not be suitable for people with dairy issues) but for me is this is fine :) I believe it’s a Canadian company - Peak Drive Beverages from what I see on their website. I had the pineapple orange flavour and it was lovely - delicate and not overly sweet, perfect for summer :) I will be keeping an eye for these and would likely grab one of these over a vitamin water (if they are similar in price) now that I know these exist! They all seem to be green tea based (which usually I do not like and maybe the slightly different note I tasted, but it was so subtle it didn’t put me off and then hopefully would provide all the benefits of green tea) It comes in 5 flavours: Orange Pineapple, Cranberry Pomegranate, Blueberry Açai, Cherry Mango and White Tea Apple Pear -

A&W;is not only my fav root beer - it is the only one I drink (I am not a fan of Dad’s or Mug and most especially don’t like Barq) At the restaurants - one thing I find unique about A&W;is that they don’t put ice in their fountain root beer (one summer I asked for it and learned they keep it chilled to a certain level but don’t offer/have ice) as it would dilute the flavour! I kinda love that level of commitment and attention to detail to their product and consistency (plus value since less ice = more drink :) I also noted the straw is an eco-friendly cardboard/paper one and I assumed would be recyclable but even better (if you have it available to you in a handy way) its compostable, which I am glad they noted on the wrapper or I wouldn’t have realized that... I confess I am not a huge fan of A&W;food but the drink is top-notch for root beer! My brother is famous for his love of A&W;Root Beer and we buy it in both the case and bottle for home. -
