I was switching to #clean products where I could I really want and wanted to be able to love this The 7 Virtues Vanilla Woods Eau de Parfum and give it a 5 star review - I got it to switch to a clean fragrance after testing all the choices from this brand as my skin chemistry is such that it
dramatically alters a #scent and not for the better :( this was the best out of all I tried, I love sweet fragrances (like PinkSugar) and as this also has that vanilla element was hoping it would be close to that as a dupe. The vanilla part is lovely however there is one note in it (maybe the pear?) that I don’t love; or maybe my skin chemistry did something to it... so one star for that and also one star less for its lack of staying power - I assume that is common to clean fragrances? however it is disappointing that I feel like it dissipates and is gone so quickly :( again maybe that’s my skin chemistry? But it doesn’t happen with a traditional #perfume so am going to assume it’s an element of this one as it’s clean... I spray more since it’s gone so quickly so for the price point definitely makes it more expensive to use as well - purchased at Sephora for $88CAD - I am still delighted there are clean options out there and I would try to find another that works for you me, however I don’t know if I would recommend this one/brand - if the scent works for you I would still definitely mention how quickly it seems to disappear as a caution #Perfume #Beauty

There isn’t anything I don’t like about this Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream! It is lightweight so it’s especially perfect if you need that (or to use alone in summer) If I understood correctly it’s more a foundational layer - the peptides and amino acids etc. and used to enforce and support the matrix of the skin. If you have drier skin (like me), or in our Canadian winters and want a heavier moisture barrier, I would try putting this under your regular moisturizer - I am going to grab the Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream as well from #Sephora and try layering those two (as was suggested to me by the girl at Sephora) I absolutely love that it’s a #clean product!!! Am switching over to clean products (perfume, hand soap etc) so am delighted Drunk Elephant is :) I also like the pump delivery system so I’m not putting my fingers in the pot and that towards the end I could pop off the inner top easily so I could use every last bit! I believe I paid around $75 and I would definitely recommend this and will be not only re-purchasing this product I will be buying more from this brand!! #Skincare #Beauty -

I always like to have this on hand (or end up buying it when I have a cut and don’t have any) it really does make a difference in shortening healing time and reducing scarring! I don’t know about overusing it since it does have antibiotics and resistance can develop - I have no idea if that applies to this but I do try to use it minimally to ensure efficacy (package says not to use past 7 days) it does have a paraben (methylparaben) not sure if that’s the bad kind or is a different variation and ok, if you are conscious of those types of ingredients (I am trying to switch to clean products wherever possible) the only note is they do tend to expire before I have finished the tube and I don’t like the waste (or product or money) it would be great if Polysporin made an option of a smaller tube (with a corresponding lower price point of course :) as well as bigger ones maybe useful for large families etc. I am a fan of the Polysporin family of products - I use the one with cortisone for my eczema and the numbing one for when I had electrolysis done. Overall I do recommend this product! -

The good: this product definitely covers everything and is easy to use. It didn’t spray onto my counters/floors etc as I was afraid it would, that could be because I was spraying it closer to my head than the instructions said - which leads us into the negative, which is the colour transfers onto EVERYTHING my hand when I run through my hair; my guys face when we were kissing, enough it stopped me using it. It also makes my hair hard and stick together (so if I leave it open/down it’s not flowy) at the scalp (where I have applied it) if you wanted to try it, would say give it a shot but I would caution a friend if they were about to buy it and asked my opinion and would recommend Clairol Root Touch-Up Color Blending Gel (even though that’s a wash out in the shower product and not an easy instant fix grab and go) #Haircare #Beauty -

I am a love the feeling of a real book in my hand kinda girl so if you are like me this review might be for you :) I got a kindle for travel, for the weight and space saving advantage, I will use it for that and it serves its purpose but it could be better (personally I find having to pay $7 for books I already own a little irking, I don’t know what the solution would be... but I did want to have my favourites on there) Of my favourite series most of the books but not all were available, which I found also found odd and frustrating (I contacted the publishers turns out it’s amazon to contact so still have to do that) I wish we had more ability to arrange the titles move around the icons of the book covers etc that part could be cleaner and prettier - I do like I can tag pages (however I find it’s a little finicky about actually getting to where I want) I do like that I can highlight things and see how many other people also did so and found that line of paragraph powerful and significant! I like you can get definitions of words at a touch. The battery does last a good long time which is important. Would I recommend buying it? Yes, overall I would if you travel or commute (I spilled too much coffee on books on the train in the past lol) for the price it’s definitely reasonable and a good investment for convenience (and being environmentally friendly if you stop buying hard/soft cover books some or totally) #Reading #Bookworm #Travel -

I have the Speck Presidio for iPhone 7Plus in metallic pink. I purchased mine from Indigo (Chapters) online in Canada on sale for $35 (from $50) the colour is very pretty but the finish scratched very quickly despite it stating it was scratch resistant in the features, which is why I bought it. If you don’t care about that the protection is good! I drop my phone all the time and it’s protected it well - has raised edges with rubber corner bumpers which is great! I personal wouldn’t buy it again because of how quickly it scratched and because I was given an Sony iPhone dock speaker for which I have to take the phone out of the case and in doing so daily (I know most cases aren’t mean to be taken off and put back on that often) the inside rubber of the case at the bottom has gotten stretched out and misshapen (which I feel might not happen with another case) - I have just ordered the iPhone XS Max and will be on the hunt for a new case anyways #iPhone #Apple -

It’s my go-to for mirrors and glass cleaning! Always has been and always will be (I think :) - it’s the known standard for its efficacy, cleans beautifully to a bright shine with no streaks!! I usually buy it on sale and find the price reasonable - I would say around $4 Canadian and definitely would recommend this cleaner (I am shifting towards clean products sulfate-free, paraben-free etc and admit I haven’t looked into this product from that perspective yet, but since it’s not ingested/put on my skin or on surfaces I touch all the time, I am comfortable using it) #Cleaning -

I used it on a sandwich and adds an extra touch of flavour with the hint of cayenne to balance the mustard. I am a fan of the original but this will be a go-to as well! I highly recommend trying it if you like food with layers of tastes and depth. Go for the red top! #Foodie -

Solid standard choice - trusted brand that always delivers the same flavour and quality. I believe French’s was originally at least a Canadian company and I believe in and love supporting local when I can. The price point is reasonable esp when on sale. Just remember to always shake the bottle before you use it so you don’t get the watery drip :) #Foodie -
