With N.Y.C. being a very affordable brand of makeup, I think it was a smart concept for them to produce a dual ended eyeliner pencil that would give you two shades in one. Every pencil comes with a black shade and is paired with another color on the other end. The opposite color I chose was "Mockingbird" which is supposed to be a beautiful, multifaceted blend of colors. It changes from a silver white to blue and pink shimmer. The only problem is, in order to achieve any form of pigmentation, you need to really dig the eyeliner back and forth into your skin. Even at that, I still wasn't satisfied with the turnout. It didn't develop a smooth line, but was rather patchy because of all the tugging against the skin. It's a shame, considering the black pencil is pretty decent. I was expecting the same quality on the other end, which is the main reason I bought the eyeliner. Although I am rating this product as average, I wouldn't consider repurchasing it because in essence, you'd be paying full price to use only half of the product and there are much better black eyeliners out there. With that being said, I do appreciate how affordable the brand is in general. -

The texture and taste of this chocolate is excellent, just like the name suggests and is very comparable to the quality Lindt is known for. It slowly melts in your mouth and makes you feel like you're eating something decadent. It is made with 70% dark cocoa so it will have somewhat of a bitter taste, but still very delicious. I do think the chocolate is very thin and for the price you pay, they could have given it more substance. Other than that, it's a taste you can't go wrong with. Also perfect to share with others as it can be divided into squares. -

I received this product as a gift and was initially excited to try it. Since then, I've had a love-hate relationship with this lip balm. When I first used it, I fell in love with the fruity candy-like scent and how moisturized it made my lips feel, even more so than the Softlips balms that come in the twist tubes. It really lived up to its claim of replenishing dry, cracked lips. It gave them a nice sheen, not too glossy or sticky, which was nice. However, I don't like the fact that you need to dip your finger in the product every time you want to apply it. What turned me off the most about this lip balm is that after a few months, I started noticing white spots, somewhat like mold or spores sprouting up on the surface. I immediately threw it out as I did not want it to cause any harm to my skin or health in general. It's a shame this happened and am not sure if this is a recurring problem with this specific lip balm or if it was an individualized issue. Either way, I wouldn't take the chance at purchasing it to try out again. -

Out of all the eyeshadow primers I've tried, Urban Decay's stands out as the best. It guarantees no creasing and lets eyeshadows stay put for hours on end. I can honestly say that my eyeshadow looks just as good at the end of the day as when I applied it in the morning. I only need to apply a small amount to my lids and it does the job. It doesn't cause my sensitive eyes any irritation or itchiness. I also like how easy it is to blend and the wand applicator is perfect for spreading out the product on your eyelids. A little expensive but well worth it. Cute packaging too! -

I can't say how much I love Bio-Oil! I've used it on acne scars as well as for bigger surgical scars and I've seen great results. Although it didn't completely make the surgical scar disappear, it did hydrate the skin and helped the texture and coloration even out. I did, however, see that dark spots left behind by the acne totally fade out. I've also used it on fine lines and wrinkles and I do find that it does a good job at moisturizing the area. It's definitely a must in my skin care routine. I also love that it's not greasy but rather absorbs really quickly. It doesn't stain clothes either. One bottle will easily last me a year, even with continued use as a little goes a long way! This is a great product to invest in but you need to use it on a regular basis to see the best results. For short term use, it will leave your skin very soft, so it's a win-win either way. -

Don't be fooled by the "healthy" appearance of this products' claims. Although they add vitamins to the water, it has a load of sugar in it as well - it's manufactured by the Coca Cola brand, so that should speak for itself in terms of how beneficial this is for you. I don't like the taste of the "water" either. It's artificial and too sweet for what water is expected to taste like. I won't be relying on this product to give my body the nutrients it needs and I highly doubt the amount they put in it will actually make a big difference in supplementing one's diet. I'd rather get my vitamins from real food instead. -

Frank Organic Waste Bags are 100% compostable and that is exactly what we use them for, to compost our food scraps. The bag may seem flimsy to the eye, but it's actually very sturdy. I've never encountered a problem with it ripping even when it's super heavy. I did have trouble at the beginning trying to open up the bags but I soon found that wetting my fingers helps split the seam apart. I just wish the price would be lower, especially since I use up at least 2 per day. I have to get the small size because that's what fits my compost bin, but the medium or large sizes would probably be more convenient. In general, they are well made and fit the purpose of keeping your waste contained and mess free. -

Herbamare, by A. Vogel, is a very flavourful sea salt that you can use to season many foods and dishes with. I use it constantly while I'm cooking or preparing snacks and it really goes well with any other spice or condiment you choose to use with it. However, since the sea salt already comes infused with a blend of herbs and spices, I find that it's often enough to make the meal taste great. I like that it is an organically certified product and also free of MSG. Definitely a healthier alternative to regular table salt. -

When I want a light perfume to wear, I opt for this classic scent. I would categorize Cool Water as a summer scent, one that reminds me of the beach but it can also fit into winter as well, since there is a crisp note of freshness to it. Its lasting power is average and it isn't overpowering, therefore great for anyone who is sensitive to scents. It's a good perfume to add to your collection and one that can be versatile for many occasions. I wear it often to work and get complimented on how pretty it smells. -

These Kirkland granola bars disappointed me. It's a sticky granola bar, so much so that it gets stuck to the packaging and once you try to get it out, it starts to break apart very easily. It isn't as compact and chewy as the usual granola bars I'm used to eating. The oats are pretty hard to chew and I found the chocolate chips to be somewhat sparse compared to what is advertised. The taste was fine but I expected a better texture. I shouldn't have to worry about having a granola bar fall apart to pieces on me as I take a bite. -
