I received this product to test for Revlon Selects. I was intrigued by the amino acids and such that are in this product, hoping it may perhaps strengthen my lashes. This isn't a terrible mascara, but it doesn't really offer much good either. The wand is far too long and hard to handle, the comb is too wide and hard to manouver. I prefer pointed wands, or more spherical ones, rather than a long cylindrical wand like this one. It is useable though, and the mascara itself is decent. I did not get any clumping after a few coats, and my lashes were significantly longer and thicker. While packaging doesn't really matter, people are obviously more drawn to packaging that is unique and attractive - this packaging is boring, just a sticker slapped on a standard shapeless tube. I prefer Maybelline mascaras, the wands are much better, the vibrant tube colours stand out in my cosmetic bag, the mascara itself has better results. -

I received this product to review as part of the Product Review club. Basically, its a toothbrush. I prefer electric brushes, as every time myself or a family member has tried manual for a while we end up getting told that electric can clean more thoroughly when used properly. I tried this out anyway just to give it a shot, and couldn't really tell much difference from any other manual tootbrush. I think it is just a marketing ploy to people who are obsessed with whitening or something to be honest, but I think such people would prefer an electric toothbrush, so I don't get it really. I wouldn't buy this toothbrush, I feel I can get better results with a thorough electric toothbrush clean and I don;t think it stands out against any other manual toothbrush. -

I received this product to test as part of the Product Review club, and I enjoy this toothpaste. I would recommend this product to people who do not have sensitive teeth like I do, as I prefer a toothpaste that helps with sensitivity, but to help whiten my teeth I can compromise for a little discomfort. I like that the toothpaste foams up and cleans my teeth well. It is not too minty or strong tasting like some toothpastes I have used. I like the flip top design, it is easy and quick to use. I have not noticed huge whitening results but my teeth do seem a shade whiter, and my smile is instantly brighter after using. This product is high quality and I would recommend this product for anyone who wants to add some gentle whitening into their regimen. -

I received this product to test from Chick Advisor and I was quite impressed with the results. I have never tried an alcohol free mouthwash, so it was a little odd at first as I was expecting an intense burn - but this mouthwash does not burn the mouth, it leaves a gentle tingly and fresh feeling after use. My teeth do appear instantly whiter and brighter right after use, and I will continue to use this product as my new mouthwash as I like that it is alcohol free and gives me a brighter smile. -

I really like this product, I have bought multiple shades and have been impressed with every one. What I really like is the thickness - it is not too thick or too thin, but you only really need one good coat to paint your nails. This really saves time having to apply multiple coats, waiting for them to dry, etc. What colour you see in the bottle is exactly what you get, and I REALLY like that about this product. I hate buying nailpolishes that are too thin or look differently from how you think they would. I pretty much always wear this product with a topcoat, and it lasts quite a few days without any major chips. I have worn it without topcoat but wasn't really impressed, I have never found a nailpolish that fares very well without a good topcoat. Overtime I have found the polish kind of gums and thickens up in the bottle, which isn't really that great, but because of how quickly it takes to do my nails with this product I find that I can switch between colours pretty quickly whenever I like and use up bottles before this happens. I will definitely buy this product again and will continue to recommend it to friends because I know the colours are reliable - what you see is what you get, the drying time is pretty fast and it only needs one coat, the consistency is not too thick or thin, and the colours are bold. -

I bought this on sale for $3.99 and I am very impressed! I have never tried Covergirl nail polish before, and I really like it! I have about 100 different bottles of nailpolish, every brand and shade possible. I like a nailpolish that is easy to apply - not too thick or thin, that you can get away with one good coat, and this delivers! This is my new favourite black polish. One coat was all I needed, although I threw another one on just so it would be stronger. I did not apply a topcoat the first time I wore it, and after two days I still had no chips - I don't think I have EVER had a nailpolish that has done this before without a topcoat. I also got a coral colour that is very pretty and will definitely be one of my go-to shades for the summer. I wish it had a better brush, I like the rounded brushes that Nicole polishes have, but the standard square brush will do the trick. If you see this on sale I would DEFINITELY buy this product. I don't know how much it is when it is not on sale, but if it is reasonable I would definitely buy. -

I am not much of a perfume person (probably only wear it twice a month), but I fell in love with this scent and had to buy it. It is such a classic, pretty scent. It is very alluring, and subtle when used in moderation. I hate strong smelling, overbearing perfumes - so I love how subtle this scent is. I feel more beautiful when I wear this, I know that when I have it on I smell pretty. Whenever I wear this my boyfriend immediately says I smell very good as soon as I see him, and he always says he misses my smell when I am gone. This is a timeless scent, it has been around since I was a little girl (I remember smelling it a the mall then and thinking it was amazing even when I was young!) and it will continue to be around for years to come! If you are a girl like me - like to keep it classy and simple, not huge on perfume or smelling too overpowering, definitely test this product out. The price is average for perfumes (kind of expensive) but the bottle lasts a LONG time, and it is a versatile scent that I am very happy with. -

I recieved this product to test as part of Revlon Selects. I have never really bought drugstore eyeshadow, as I have never been impressed with the quality. They are often too powdery and dry, are not very vibrant or colourful, and don't last. This eyeshadow quad has now made me consider maybe giving drugstore makeup another shot!
What I like about this quad are the colours, they are very neutral and wearable. They are not too shimmery, with the exception of the small gold eyeshadow which can be used to add extra sparkle for a night out. The colours work very well together. I was impressed at the colour payout, a little dab of the brown goes a long way! The consistency of these eyeshadows do not feel cheap and chalky, and are comparable to more expensive brands. The colours blend together quite well and are long lasting. The gold eyeshadow is really pretty for a night out and once again, a little dab really goes a long way. For the price this is a good buy, as this quad will last a long time, because the colours are very vibrant and you don't need much product to get good results.
What I did not like about this product is the primer. It was hard to blend the colours together on top of the primer, so I just used my regular liquid primer instead. The shimmer in the product also did not work too well with my liquid eyeliner, it would look too shiny overtop of the product and would cause it to wear away after a few hours. This has never happened before with other eyeshadows, but then again I tend to stay away from shimmery eyeshadows so this might be a common thing.
I would recommend this product for an everyday neutral eye look, with some subtle shimmer. The gold is good to dab on quickly for a night out, and looks very pretty. I attached a photo of a look I created with this product to show how neutral and pretty the colours are.

It is alot more green than I thought it would be, and with my pale skin it is hard to cover with makeup to try and make it look normal. The texture is also awful. It is sticky and hard to blend, once you apply it, it isn't really moving anywhere. If I apply a light coat with my fingers it kind of warms up the product and can help with redness, but I would prefer to just use foundation or flesh coloured coverup to do the same job. It looks really bad when applied to cover up any darker red blemishes or zits, it is not moisturizing at all and looks very flaky. I wouldn't recommend this product at all. -

I have never tried drugstore foundation before, so this was my first purchase. While I am not totally satisfied with this foundation, it has given me hope that I can get away from the expensive brands (Mac, Makeup Forever) and get similar results with drug store foundations. This foundation is very smooth, and blends nicely. I like the pump on it, it looks like it pumps out alot but it is always the right amount for my face. I like that this foundation comes in very light colours, as I had trouble finding expensive foundations in my colour. This foundation feels very light, I can't feel that it is on my face and it is very breathable.
What I don't like about this foundation is that it does not have SPF. I thought I had grabbed the 3 in 1 foundation that had SPF but for some reason I had grabbed this one instead. It is not very sunny out though so I will make sure I grab that next time. The main problem I have is that it does not provide good enough coverage. My cheeks are a little more red than the rest of my face, so I like a foundation that will cover that. This foundation, with three layers, still does not cover it up as much as I would like. It also starts to get shiny after that many layers and that is not a good look. My skin is not bad at all, but I want a foundation that makes it flawless and this is not it. This foundation would be good for a girl with good skin, who wants a more natural and dewy sort of look. I don't regret this buy, as the price was good and it feels nice on my skin, but I don't think I will personally buy it again.
