I tried this nail polish for the first time at our #pantenebeautifulhair professional hair blow out event this past weekend, and let me tell you, was I ever pleased with the quality of this product.
The polish goes on smoothly with a shiny finish (even my boyfriend seemed to notice - shocker!) and holds up quite well. I do quite a bit of cooking which ultimately results in butchered nails at some point but they have held up quite well. It comes in a similar container to Chanel's nail polish (which may have added to the prestige in my head) but for a drugstore nail polish, this one works wonders!

I'm notorious for misplacing my tweezers. After losing my prized pair (that also came with a heftier price tag), I was hesitant to purchase new ones. Knowing my track record of lost tweezers, I decided to take the more "economical" route this time and settle for the $4.00 Quo straight edge tweezers.
To my surprise, this purchase ended up being a total catch! Both efficient and economical, these tweezers get the job done without having to attempt plucking the hair multiple times. They sell three types of tweezers that vary in shape at the end (whether you want a pointy or straight edge). Overall, I'm usually quite impressed with the quality of Quo products.

Not only does it feel wicked cool, it really fires up your lips (no sexy firefighter required - unfortunately). I'm also quite fond of the scent which smells fresh and bubble-gum like without being overwhelming. Initially it goes on quite sticky but within a few minutes it smooths into a nice gloss finish. Perfect for a fresh minimal face that just needs that extra luscious "umph"

When it comes to my MAC Rebel Lipstick, I am one smitten kitten! I initially purchased this after seeing a friend of mine sporting it one night and looking mighty fierce. I knew I had to get it but was a bit nervous whether or not I could pull it off. When looking at the purpley-pink shade on the stick, you might think it's better fit for a clown but just you wait until you smother that goodness on your lips. All eyes will be on you, baby!
At $17 a stick, it may seem a bit hefty though incredibly worth it. I've always been fond of MAC products for their impeccable quality and longevity. I can't wait to extend my MAC lipstick collection.

With a simple click of a button, the iRobot Roomba embarks on a calculated trail across your floor, ensuring that it covers all territory. It's a bit of an investment but a worthy one for those who may not have the time to bust out a vacuum or broom everyday. Not to mention, they just introduced a new product called the "Scooba" which SCRUBS your floor for you. In other words, kiss your cleaning lady goodbye (bless her heart) and say hello to your forever polished home! -

With a thick fluffy brush and it's smooth fluidity out of the tube, you can trust your lashes will be blessed with a fierce bold, perfectly balanced look. It is also easy to wash off with your everyday cleanser (this is a huge selling point for me!) And let's face it, if you want quality, you have to invest. One tube will last me about 3 months - skimp out on going out for lunch one day and you've got yourself some happy lashes.

I was thrilled when I saw a beautifully wrapped package of free samples of this product from Rodial. Not only does this product look glam from it's slick clear casing, but it FEELS glam when smothering the vitamin E and cocoa buttery goodness on your lips.
The best part? It also contains a lip tint in a variety of natural looking luscious colours. At $19.00 a piece, it may come off as a bit more of an investment than your regular go-to lip remedy but trust me when I say it's worth it. After all, your lips deserve only the best, right?

I have tried a number of San-J sauces (both salad dressings and asian cooking sauce) and I am happy to say I have always been pleased with their product line. I do quite a bit of thai/asian cooking though I usually like to stir up my own sauce. However, sometimes it's just easier to turn to the quick fix ready made sauces. San-J has a diverse range of flavours to cater to multiple palettes.
I was thrilled when we received a generous package of free San-J sauces at the Chick Advisor office. As per my recent infatuation with spice, I opted to try out the Szechuan sauce. I experimented with it over a stir fry which is a total must (if you can handle the heat) but even a little drizzle of this goodness over scrambled egg whites is a total game changer!
Highly recommend this brand. Be adventurous with it!

Though a bit more of an investment at about $25-30 a case, it is long lasting (up to 6 months!) It is great for a quick fix, with the easy to use circular sponge. That being said, you might want to purchase a few more additional sponges as they can become quite dirty really fast. The case fits in the palm of your hand perfectly with a mirror at access upon opening.
Aside from the maximum coverage it does provide, it does give off a "cakey" feel. Whether that's something you choose to cope with or not is up to you. Knowing this, I make sure to be extra conscious while using this product to prevent myself from looking like a layered mocha cake.
