I recently gave my pups, Newton and Lewis, some Auntie Kim’s Kanine Kookies Flower Power and they were a big hit. These are not the first treats from this brand that my dogs have tried, and every time they are delighted. These delicious and crunchy snacks are packed with oats, turmeric, pumpkin, coconut oil and black pepper. Together, these ingredients have anti-inflammatory properties and they are gentle on the stomach. Not only do they taste great, judging by how quickly they disappeared, but they also support overall health, especially when it comes to joint pain, chronic inflammation and even digestive issues. For larger breeds like mine, this is very important, especially since my dogs are getting older and joint pain can become a real struggle. We have a lot of stairs here, and it can be difficult for them, so I try to support joint care as much as possible.
What I really appreciate is the size of these treats. I find them perfectly portioned for big dogs, unlike the tiny ones that often pose a choking risk or simply do not satisfy them. They are also very easy to break apart into smaller pieces if needed, which is great for training or sharing. It also feels good knowing they are Canadian made with trustworthy ingredients that I actually recognize, with nothing unusual in the ingredient list. It is a treat I feel confident giving to my good boys.

The most hydrating treatment for extra dry skin this winter 💦
I have been having such a hard time with my skin this winter. The temperatures have been extremely cold, and it has been very harsh on my skin. I already have dry and sensitive skin, but the change in weather makes it even worse, causing extra dryness, dry patches, and itchiness. Every hydrating product is welcome at this point, and I am really glad I tried the Bella Aura Hydra Revive Treatment.
This is an 8-in-1 hydration treatment, and from the first pump, I was impressed with the texture. It is milky, but not as thick as I am usually used to with other skincare I have used. It feels more like a lighter milky serum than a cream. It absorbs really well into the skin, and because of the texture, you do not need much product. It deeply hydrates and feels very nourishing quickly. It has helped relieve a lot of the irritation and itchiness caused by my dry patches in no time. It also leaves my skin looking plumped and dewy.
It contains interesting ingredients such as Iceland moss, peat moss, fern, and jojoba, which are known for their moisture retaining, hydrating, nourishing, and elasticity enhancing properties. And I have to say, I love that this product is made in Canada, which makes it even better.

The extra care my body needs this winter ❄
Cold days are really harsh this year, and my body definitely needs extra care. This weather triggers dry patches and irritated skin so easily. I recently tried the L’Occitane Soothing Karité Comfort Shea Butter Ultra Rich Body Cream, and it has honestly been a lifesaver.
I have tried a few L’Occitane products now, and I am never disappointed. The quality is truly incomparable, and this one does not fail. This body cream has a very rich and thick texture, almost balm like, which I love. Surprisingly, it absorbs very well into the skin and quite quickly too, without leaving any greasy or sticky residue.
The scent is beautiful, thanks to the shea butter. It smells fresh, comforting, and lingers softly on the skin throughout the day. I am not used to scents in my skincare, as I have dry and sensitive skin, so it sometimes feels overpowering, but this one is definitely not. After applying it, my skin feels deeply nourished, slightly dewy, and most importantly, my dry patches are gone. This is exactly the kind of comfort my skin needs during winter.

This time, I have tried NEOSTRATA 15% Vitamin C + PHA Serum, a powerful brightening face serum at the peak efficacity of vitamin C concentration.
The texture is tinted by vitamin C but feels watery, making it easy to apply and massage into the skin. It absorbs quickly, leaving no sticky or unpleasant residue. After using it for a week, I can say that my face looks brighter, and it definitely gives me a beautiful glow. Although I am used to vitamin C in my skincare, I got to say this one gave me a good heat sensation upon application, I almost thought it had spicules. No redness or irritation afterward, just a few seconds right after use. I have dry and sensitive skin, and I also was happy to see that it did not strip away any moisture.
After a week, the results seem promising, and I cannot wait to see what it will do for my skin in the long run.

They taste similar, with just a hint of turkey flavor that blends perfectly in a hot dog. It is a refreshing options, and I feel it tastes even better in hot summer days, as it feels lighter!

The Butterball Applewood Smoked Turkey Bacon is such a refreshing alternative to regular bacon. It is made with 100% turkey meat and is definitely lower in fat. I could see the difference right away while cooking, since the tray was not filled with grease the way it usually is with traditional bacon. That is a big plus for me. It also cooks faster, which makes it a great option for busy mornings. The slices are larger, and the taste honestly reminds me more of ham than bacon. It is flavorful and makes a great breakfast substitute, but it does not completely replace bacon for me, as it is not as crispy or juicy. Still, I like the subtle turkey taste and find it to be a healthier option.

Avec mes allergies aux noix et aux arachides, je dois toujours scruter chaque emballage, et je finis trop souvent avec un choix banal, comme vanille ou chocolat, et trop souvent insatisfaite. Heureusement, c’est du passé parce que Chapman’s a développé une nouvelle gamme de crème glacée, la Super Premium Plus, qui est fabriqué non seulement au Canada, mais aussi dans une usine exempte de noix, d’arachides et même d’œufs! La toute première gamme de crème glacée de luxe sans ces allergènes! Une gamme que je peux manger en toute confiance et qui est aussi gourmande que les crèmes glacées régulières. En effet, cette crème glacée de luxe est vraiment onctueuse, et honnêtement, j’ai vraiment l’impression de pouvoir enfin manger la même chose que tout le monde, sans compromis! Leur saveur vanille-miel m’a vraiment surprise : gourmande, onctueuse, légèrement sucrée, avec un parfait équilibre entre la douceur de la vanille et une touche caramélisée de miel. C’est riche, authentique, et on sent que c’est fait avec de la vraie crème. Maintenant, j’ai juste hâte d’essayer les autres saveurs!
