I never was a girly girl my entire life, but when I hit 40, I suddenly became obsessed with all things girly. Makeup, clothing, shoes, skin care products, etc. I guess that was my mid-life crisis LOL So I now have a truckload of all of those. I love writing and reading reviews because they help people more effectively choose products before wasting their money. They also let manufacturers know what we do and don't like about their products so they can improve them.

I have traveled quite a lot and lived overseas for more than 10 years. I am married to an Indonesian and therefore have an Indonesian family as well as my own. I have started and walked away from businesses in the past, have worked overseas and have taught myself new languages. I am fairly independent, to say the least, but enjoy nothing more than spending time with my spectacular husband. I really believe far too many women settle for men that really aren't good for them or good TO them. I see it all around me. My hope for them is that they one day realize they deserve so much more and are capable of getting it. I finally figured it out and wound up with the most amazing person. That doesn't mean women should be overly picky about men's appearance and clothing. It means women should pay very close attention to the blood and guts of a man. That's what's going to carry you through happiness and sadness, good times and bad times, good health and bad health and a whole host of other things life throws at us. So go out there and get yerself one, ladies! They're out there! :-)
