Butterball is a Canadian household name and for a good reason! They've delivered quality products for as long as I can recall.
These Butterball Turkey Franks were so delicious and juicy! They don’t taste any different from other hot dogs. But, if anything, I prefer them because they seemed softer and juicier than other hot dogs I’ve tried. They’re also lower fat than regular hot dogs, which makes it guilt free!
They only took about 10 minutes to boil. I made simple turkey dogs with them and they were perfect for the summer. I would recommend them for summer parties, or just a quick meal with your family or friends.

Butterball has always been a household name for me. Growing up, my family and I enjoyed their turkey on the Thanksgiving holiday. This particular Applewood Smoked Turkey Bacon is so delicious.
I made bacon egg cups with them using a muffin pan. I added chives as garnish, too. They turned out amazing and it was a great way to get me back into cooking. On top of that, they were really convenient to make, only taking about 20 minutes in the oven.
Although I don’t usually eat early in the mornings, I think these muffin cups will be a great way to add protein at any time of the day.

I love the functional design of this Contigo Streeterville Tumbler. The shape is such that it fits perfectly into most vehicles’ cup holders, including mine. I also like that it’s pretty lightweight and the handle is a good level of thickness to allow for a comfortable grip. I do find that it’s a bit large to just casually walk around with, but it is a good size if you’re going for a long walk, driving around all day, or working out.
One cool feature which sets this tumbler apart from others I’ve used is that you can drink from it multiple ways—with a straw or without. This then leads to the fact that it’s leak-proof when the straw is removed and the lid is closed. One suggestion I have for Contigo is to create a flexible straw for this tumbler. Sometimes, I find it awkward to drink out of a stiff straw when I’m driving (and the straw ends up hitting my teeth).
The double wall stainless steel insulation also kept my water cold for hours, even in a heat wave.
I’m trying to be more conscious of the things I put in or on my body, so it’s good to know that this tumbler is made of BPA-free materials. And come on, this Strawberry Cream colourway is so pretty! It’s perfectly aesthetic and elevates any on-the-go look. I can’t speak to the durability of the colour (whether it will chip or not) because I have only used the tumbler for a few days so far. It is dishwasher and hand wash safe, though.
Overall, I like this Contigo tumbler for its functionality, clean materials and aesthetic look.

As someone who enjoys creating tablescapes, this 16-piece floral stoneware dinnerware set by CANVAS is a dream! I love the blue and white colour and the floral design. The dinner plate also has a scalloped rim, which I thought was a nice detail. It’s timeless and elegant. It’s literally something my grandma, mom and I would all love.
This type of style elevates any table setting and can be used year-round, but it’s especially perfect for the Spring or Summer seasons. It can be used for either casual or formal events. I thought navy napkins and blue/white hydrangeas or white roses match it perfectly.
The material (stoneware) is very durable and high quality. It is safe to put in both the dishwasher and microwave. This is convenient, as some plates with elegant designs require handwashing.
As someone who also values practical designs and views products from varying lenses, I appreciate that the pieces in this set are lightweight. Often, plates made of sturdy materials are heavy and painful or difficult for people with joint/hand concerns to hold or carry.
The set serves four and comes with four of each piece (a dinner plate, a salad plate, a soup bowl and a cereal bowl). My only suggestion would be to increase the number of servings to six instead of four, as most dining tables have six seats. This would be great when hosting, so that each guest is served in these beautiful pieces.
Overall, I would recommend this dinnerware set because it’s high quality, lightweight and has a beautiful, timeless design.

I’m so glad to know that there’s a company like Everist out there. This Exfoliating Body Wash Concentrate Mini is eco-friendly, effective, and portable.
The first thing I was surprised by was how small the container is. Most body washes are made of more than 70% water. But, Everist removes the water and keeps the key ingredients.
It’s concentrated and effective. I literally only needed a dime-sized amount of the product for each use. In fact, this mini container can be used for 30 to 50 washes! That is mind blowing to me.
Since it’s so small, it requires less packaging. But, even so, the packaging itself is an aluminum container. This means that it is recyclable. The other aspects of the packaging are okay for me. It might be a bit difficult for others to open, especially with wet or slippery hands in the shower. I do typically prefer containers with pumps because I can push them down with my palm.
The size also makes it very portable and great for packing on travels. Sometimes, I don’t like the scent of hotel body washes, so this is great for me. On the topic of its scent, I must mention that I fell in love with how good this one is! It smells minty fresh with a hint of citrus to me. Makes sense because it does contain peppermint oil and orange peel oil. Some people may find this scent to be unpleasant, though. It kind of reminds me of toothpaste (but I’m a big fan of mint products).
The other ingredients? Charcoal powder, aloe vera, biodegradable bamboo particles and other plant-based ingredients. It’s only clean ingredients—free of silicones and sulfates. This is great because I am being more conscious of what I put on and in my body for health purposes and because I have sensitive skin.
My skin was noticeably smoother, softer and looked brighter after using this exfoliating body wash concentrate. The amount of exfoliation was just right for me. Some products I’ve tried in the past were too harsh on my skin.
On top of all of that, Everist is a Canadian company! I love supporting Canadian companies because I believe in supporting local to strengthen our economy.
Overall, I would purchase this product again (especially for traveling) and recommend to others!

I am so happy to have tried out Chapman’s Pina Colada sorbet! It is my new favourite treat for the summer. I love the flavour of Pina Coladas. This sorbet literally tastes like a Pina Colada, with a fresh juicy pineapple flavour and smooth coconut. Simply delicious.
The texture of the sorbet is just right, too. Some sorbets I’ve tried are grainy, but this one is so smooth. I love that the sorbet includes natural colours and flavours with fruit juices and purees. It is also fat free, lactose free and cholesterol free. This makes for guilt-free snacking.
Other than the flavour and ingredients, I love that this sorbet is proudly made in Canada by a beloved company! I am always up for supporting Canadian made products and our local economy.
I can’t wait to share this product with my friends and family. I’m sure they’ll love it, too. I had Pina Colada mocktails non-stop during a tropical vacation once and this just transports me back to that amazing time. Kudos to Chapman’s for creating this great sorbet!

I’m a huge fan of L’Occitane products, especially from their Amande line. This particular Shimmering Oil with Amande leaves my skin feeling so smooth that I don’t want to stop touching it! It also smells so delicious, but the scent isn’t overpowering.
The oil is light and quickly absorbed. The shimmer is very subtle once the oil is absorbed, which is fine with me. However, I noticed that the shimmer doesn’t last as long as I would have liked. I tested it out and it maybe lasted about an hour and a half.
Regardless, I’d still use this product for the immediate shimmer, moisturizing effect and the scent. It would look great for a photoshoot or a party if you’re wearing a halter top or armless dress and can show your collar bones or shoulders. It gives a very “golden goddess” vibe.
I can’t wait to use it more this summer at some fun events.
I also love that L’Occitane sources their ingredients sustainably (this almond oil is from Provence and the Mediterranean basin) and packages their products in recyclable or refillable containers. This oil comes in a glass bottle with an easy-to-use pump. I appreciate skincare products with practical designs as someone who has had joint issues in the past and found it difficult to get products out of certain containers.
This Shimmering Oil will definitely be a new luxury skincare staple for me.

This Old Fashioned Kit makes a great gift for cocktail enthusiasts, such as my dad. He has a home bar and I think that this kit will elevate the bar experience for him and his guests for many more events to come.
I love the engravings on the wooden box. It takes the presentation of this kit to another level.
Inside the box are many useful items, such as aromatic bitters, ice sphere moulds, a cocktail recipe book and of course, the aromatic wooden blocks.
A couple things I think could have been improved were the quality of the coasters and the addition of a crème-brûlée style torch. The coasters provided do look nice, but they are made of cardboard it seems, so won’t last long in a bar environment with liquids spilling on them. I also had a hard time finding the right torch for this, and I think it’s a key item to the process.
The experience of making the Old Fashioned with this kit was a bit of a learning curve at first. Once you get the hang of it, though, it is quick, easy and fun.
Our guests enjoyed the experience and visuals of smoky cocktails. The aromatic bitters, maple syrup and wooden blocks did enhance the flavours of the alcohol.
Overall, I love the look of the box, the items included (for the most part) and the flavours/aesthetic that this kit gives to cocktails and the cocktail-making process.

It is so functional and easy to use! I love how it has wheels, so I can move it from room to room as needed. I also like that the water tank is easy to remove and is pretty large (8.8 L).
The options on the dehumidifier sets it apart. It has three draining options, and a large LED screen and buttons to program it to high or low fan speeds. It has three humidify options (auto dry, continuous and manual set).
It also has an automatic shut off safety feature. This is a must have for any home!
