Great gift for cocktail enthusiasts!

This Old Fashioned Kit makes a great gift for cocktail enthusiasts, such as my dad. He has a home bar and I think that this kit will elevate the bar experience for him and his guests for many more events to come.

I love the engravings on the wooden box. It takes the presentation of this kit to another level.

Inside the box are many useful items, such as aromatic bitters, ice sphere moulds, a cocktail recipe book and of course, the aromatic wooden blocks.

A couple things I think could have been improved were the quality of the coasters and the addition of a crème-brûlée style torch. The coasters provided do look nice, but they are made of cardboard it seems, so won’t last long in a bar environment with liquids spilling on them. I also had a hard time finding the right torch for this, and I think it’s a key item to the process.

The experience of making the Old Fashioned with this kit was a bit of a learning curve at first. Once you get the hang of it, though, it is quick, easy and fun.

Our guests enjoyed the experience and visuals of smoky cocktails. The aromatic bitters, maple syrup and wooden blocks did enhance the flavours of the alcohol.

Overall, I love the look of the box, the items included (for the most part) and the flavours/aesthetic that this kit gives to cocktails and the cocktail-making process.

This kit completely transformed our at-home cocktails — it’s not just a drink, it’s a whole ritual now. The variety of smoking woods is amazing (walnut is our current favorite), and the quality of each piece in the box is top-notch. We recently tried the Spirits with Smoke Old Fashioned Kit and were absolutely blown away. We could tell this was something special the moment we saw the box. Every detail is well thought out

I had no idea I had been chosen to test out the old fashioned kit so I didn’t know what to expect when I opened the box. I literally GASPED when I saw the incredibly beautiful laser engraved box. Then I started exploring inside the box and realized it contains everything you need to live the whole experience of smoked cocktails. We tested it with a simple gin&tonic and the walnut brick, and wow! The smell of the smoked wood really adds a new dimension to the cocktail. We can’t wait to try many more.
