I don't buy lip gloss that often anymore, because my tastes have changed a bit with makeup, and I find that a lot of lip glosses now are priced too high anyways. However, XXXL Shine is only about 3 bucks, and so far it's performed just as well as any other more expensive brand of lip gloss I've tried!
I purchased "Nude Kiss". It's obviously a more natural looking base colour, but it also has lots of shimmer as well. I'm not always a fan of shimmery lips, but this is ok because I didn't plan on wearing it all the time, and it just emphasizes the glossiness anyways.
This lip gloss has a vanilla/cotton candy type scent to it, which is nice. The tube says it's supposed to be moisturizing, and non-sticky. I don't know how moisturizing it would be, because I wear lip balm anyways, but I can definitely agree that this is non-sticky, which is a must for this type of product.
The only thing that surprised me about this product was the applicator. The brush/sponge for this is kind of longer and thinner than most I've used before. It doesn't affect me but it's still kind of different.
I'm definitely going to pick up some more shades of this in the future, and also check out essence's Stay With Me Longlasting Gloss, as that seems to have some more crème/solid shades than shimmers.

Like the Crest 3D White Luxe Glamourous White toothpaste, this mouthwash foams up really well to help distribute it around your teeth. I think that's part of why it's so effective, but it can take some getting used to since it has a slightly different feel than other mouthwashes.
This definitely tastes like other whitening products I've tried, but it also makes my mouth feel really fresh, using this after brushing with the Glamourous White toothpaste. The aftertaste is pretty much just fresh and a little minty, but without the alcohol burn like other rinses, which is a nice change.
After using this for the past week, along with the other 3D White products, I've noticed a definite improvement in the whiteness of my teeth and overall health. I think I might prefer more traditional rinses, but I can still see myself purchasing this in the future for the whitening benefits. Thank you to ChickAdvisor and Crest for this opportunity to review some great products!

I received this as part of the Product Review Club.
This toothpaste claims to remove up to 90% of surface stains on teeth in 5 days, and although the results weren't very noticeable the first day, I have seen an improvement over the past week. Compared to other whitening toothpastes I've tried in the past, this one tastes more like a regular toothpaste, which is great. It does have a slight taste that reminds me of other whitening products, but the "Vibrant Mint" flavour is really fresh and covers that up well.
This foams up differently than some toothpastes, and I find that this really does help it reach all areas of the mouth more easily, and therefore give you better results. I also like how this product not only focuses on whitening, but also claims to help protect tooth enamel, and fight cavities.
Using this toothpaste with the 3D White Vivid toothbrush and Multi Care Whitening Rinse has helped whiten my teeth and keep my mouth fresh and healthy, and I can definitely see myself purchasing this toothpaste again!

I got a chance to try this toothbrush as part of the Product Review Club.
I'm kind of picky about which toothbrushes I prefer, but this one is great. It has 'polishing cups' which are supposed to help hold the toothpaste in the brush better, and help get rid of stains, but what I really noticed was the 'power tip bristles'. The bristles at the tip of the brush are longer, and I found they really helped reach all areas of my mouth more easily than some toothbrushes.
It has indicator bristles as well, to help you keep track of when to replace the brush, which is always good.
Using this with Crest 3D White Luxe toothpaste and the MultiCare Whitening Rinse for the past week, I've noticed a slight improvement in the whiteness of my teeth, and I would definitely purchase this toothbrush again.

For this review, I decided to start with the original Venus (3 blade), because I’ve used it so many times before but never really compared it to the newer Venus products that are now available. I love the handles of all the Venus razors – they’re always comfortable to hold, have good grip and come in cute colours. The handle of this one is blue, and it comes with a compact that you can keep the refills in, which also attaches to the wall of your shower. As for the actual razor, it did a really decent job as always! The 3 blades gave me a close shave, and my skin felt soft and smooth for days. Plus, the slightly smaller head of this razor is perfect for reaching every spot.
Next I tried the ProSkin MoistureRich, which has shave gel bars. When I opened this one up it had a soft scent like cocoa butter, which I love. I slightly moistened the razor before starting to shave, and it worked really well, lathering up just enough to have a perfect shave. It was so convenient to just grab my razor and start shaving, without having to lather up my skin beforehand or worry about it rinsing off before I’m finished! It helped to streamline my shower/shaving process even more, which is always a good thing. After I was done, I definitely noticed the difference that the MoistureRich gel bars made. The ProSkin Venus doesn’t come with the same refill compact as the regular Venus – this one is called a shower hook and it has a little suction cup to stick it onto the wall, but no space for refills. I think I prefer the shower hook on this one, although I like how the other ones (that come with the original) have space for cartridges.
The next one I went for was the Venus & Olay 5 Blades with Sugarberry scent, which is supposed to exfoliate and moisturize as you shave. When I opened this one up, the scent almost reminded me more of watermelon than berries, but it’s still a really cute, sweet scent! I found this one behaved just like the ProSkin, although I didn’t notice much of a difference between the 3 and 5-blades; they both just gave me a really smooth shave. The Venus & Olay Sugarberry made my skin feel great, maybe not quite as moisturized as the ProSkin, but that may be due to the exfoliating factor as well. Overall, I liked this one a lot, because of the different scent and the fact that it is supposed to help ‘renew’ the skin with exfoliation. However, I noticed that the Sugarberry scent had faded quite a bit by the second time I went to use this one, which was disappointing! But all in all, this one is definitely another awesome Venus razor.
I have tried the Venus Spa Breeze with White Tea scent in the past and it was great as well. I loved the scent, and the soft pink handle of this one is probably my favourite of them all.
Venus razors have definitely been my favourite since they first came out, and this review opportunity has just made me love them even more! I’ve always liked to try different brands all the time for beauty products, especially for shaving, and there are other good razors out there but they never give as close of a shave as Venus does.
It’s really hard to choose my favourite out of them all, when there are so many (not including the disposable ones as well!) and every single one of them works so well, but right now I definitely find myself leaning towards the ProSkin MoistureRich razor because it has the convenience of the shave gel bars and is very moisturizing. I really love every Venus razor, though, for different reasons. The ones like the original 3 blade, and the 5 blade Embrace all work perfectly, and I think I prefer using them in trickier areas (like under arms). But the others with the shave gel bars are really growing on me, because they are quick and easy to use, but they also have the extras like pretty scents and moisturizing or exfoliating shave gel bars.
I can’t say enough how appreciative I am for being chosen to take part in this review, it was so awesome and generous of ChickAdvisor and Gillette! I’m stocked up for a while now but of course will keep purchasing Venus razors in the future, and recommend them to everyone!
I received these products for free from ChickAdvisor as part of the Product Review Club.

I'm a fan of the Glysomed hand cream, but recently was given a bottle of the body lotion and am pretty disappointed! I ran out of my usual lotion the other day, and went to use this one, but as soon as I put some in my hand I noticed it had a really strong, terrible scent. The scent honestly reminds me of some kind of chemical hair treatment, that's the only way I can describe it.
I put some on my legs anyway, and to be honest it felt ok on my skin, but afterwards all throughout the day I kept getting whiffs of the horrible chemical scent. I hate giving a poor review of a product, but this lotion is definitely not for me.

I usually keep my nails pretty short, but lately wanted to try growing them a bit. My nails have always been healthy, but sometimes when the tips grow out more, they start to peel a bit and look ragged.
I only use this about once a week at most, but it's made a difference in my nails. They feel stronger and don't peel as much, plus they seem to grow out a bit faster than usual. This also works well as a base coat and top coat - it dries quickly, and helps my polish stay chip free. Even though I STILL haven't tried any actual Essie polishes, I'm becoming a pretty big fan of their nail treatments, including this one!

I've been using Mask of Magnaminty about once a week for a couple months now, and really like it! The scent of this product is one of my favourite things about it - it's made with pure peppermint and vanilla absolute, which makes it refreshing but still a bit sweet too.
It has a nice thick texture, and I love the green colour as well! And, there are bits of ground aduki beans in there, which gives the skin some exfoliation when you wash the mask off.
I usually leave the mask on until it starts to dry, and by that time my skin feels super fresh and toned, and definitely helps me feel more awake if I'm using it in the morning. It makes my face feel great after - soft, totally clean and smooth, and my skin actually looks a little better too I think. It gets rid of puffiness in the morning, and my pores feel like they're tightened up a little bit as well.
The mint in this has such a cooling effect, and although it's still snowy and cold where I am now, I can see this being great for the summertime when you need to cool off and refresh.
I also love that there are fresh ingredients in this, as with other Lush products. The way this mask makes my skin feel is pretty awesome, so I definitely recommend it to others (though if you have sensitive skin I would test this out before buying it, as the peppermint can be harsh).

I got this not too long ago, and have been really impressed with it! Recently I've been using two other drug store mascara's, but after trying Ginormous Lash the other two just don't do the job for me anymore. I think I had resigned myself to just having to deal with my mascara smudging around my eyes after so many hours, so it feels great to put this mascara on and not see any of that, no matter how long I wear it.
The brush applies the mascara really well - it's not quite as thick as I might like, but it definitely gives my lashes decent volume and length. It doesn't clump at all, and I find it really easy to apply to my lashes without any mess (my eyes are kind of deeper and smaller set, and sometimes I have a hard time not getting touches of mascara around my eyes while I'm putting it on). The mascara stays put on my lashes, with no smudging and definitely no flakes, for the whole day, plus it's easy to remove after.
I realized that there's another Ginormous Lash mascara from Hard Candy, with an added Growth Serum, so I'll have to try that one sometime, as well as a few of the other Hard Candy products! I'm seriously loving this mascara right now, so it'll be interesting to see what the other products are like.

I got this in a set for the holidays, and have been comparing it to the Triple Moisture Body Cream. The lotion has shea butter, vitamin E and jojoba oil (where the body cream has milk protein, rice bran and acai berry extract). The biggest difference for me is obviously the texture, and how long the product keeps my skin feeling moisturized.
This lotion is definitely lighter in texture than the body cream, but it still does a good job of making my skin feel soft and hydrated. I think this will be better for when the weather gets warmer, and my skin doesn`t get quite as dry.
As with the body cream, I find that this lotion has a pretty strong scent (Twilight Woods is supposed to smell like apricot nectar, mimosa petals and tuscan cypress). I don`t like using heavily scented products every day, but I like that when I do use this product, the scent tapers off but still lasts for hours.
