This is a light, foaming soap that does a surprisingly good job at cutting through grease and dirt on the hands. It smells lovely, and the scent lingers for a while after your hands have been washed. It is not overly drying, and I don’t feel the need to moisturize after. I also like how the bottle looks at the sink, it’s not overly large or clunky. -

This plant-based brick behaves much like margarine with the texture and taste of butter. I cooked and baked with it in the same way that I would use regular butter and didn't notice a difference in taste.
I think this is a great alternative for individuals looking to transition to a plant-based diet, or already consuming a plant-based diet.
That being said, I don't think there's much of a difference between this and regular margarine other than the packaging and presentation.

This is a product that has been in my collection for years! I typically use this after I've heat styled my hair and want a little bit more volume in certain places. I find that it works best for my thin hair when I also tease it. It is a very small bottle compared to usual hair products, however a little bit goes a long way. I typically don't have an issue getting it to blend into my hair however I think having a darker powder for dark coloured hair would be beneficial just to ensure that it would be less noticeable especially if using at the back of your head where you can't really see. Definitely a cheaper option to some of the more expensive volumizing powders on the market. -

This hairspray claims to be flexible, non-sticky, and fast drying -- all of which it is! I was pleasantly surprised to see that the product follows through on all claims. I typically use hairspray to keep down flyaways and baby hairs when wearing my hair up. This spray does a great job at that, lasting all day and doesn't make my hair feel crunchy or hard which I love! I can touch the area where it is without any sticky residue as well and haven't noticed any white flakes in my hair either. Upon initial application, this spray does have quite a strong alcohol scent, but it does dissipate quickly and leave a faint fruity/floral scent which also wears away quickly. I only need a couple of sprays to do the job, so this huge bottle will last me a long time! -

I have recently stopped purchasing makeup wipes to help reduce waste, however I still have some left which I save for travelling. These are perfect for that as they are individually wrapped which makes it easy to toss into your purse, carryon, makeup bag, etc. and also ensured that the wipe stays moist and that there's no chance of contamination or drying out. I took these travelling with me and was pleasantly surprised at how well they removed makeup. I was able to use one wipe to remove a full face of makeup including eyeshadow and mascara. The only residue that it didn't fully remove was eyelash glue, however this is reoccurring issue no matter what product I use. It was also convenient in the sense that I was on a very short trip so I didn't need to bring a whole package of wipes, and I could dispose of it and the packaging without having the repack it into my carryon. That being said, I will not repurchase them as I feel like they produce too much waste especially being individually packaged, though the product itself is a great makeup removal wipe. -

I've recently been in the market for a new face moisturizer with SPF, so this came at the perfect time! This product is an opaque, light blue cream that's lightly fragranced and doesn't have the typical strong sunscreen scent, which I can appreciate. A little goes a long way, and I find that it evenly applies to the face and is absorbed faster than usual sunscreen products. It also doesn't feel thick, and I haven't noticed a white cast when taking photos with flash. Usually products with SPF sit on my combination-oily skin and cause me to get oilier quicker than if I had just used a regular moisturizer but I find that this product applies nicely and doesn't sacrifice the longevity of my makeup. -

This product is a light-blue, translucent, water-based gel cream with a light, fresh scent that dissipates a few minutes after application. A dime sized amount is enough to moisturize my hands. It absorbs relatively quickly and doesn’t leave your hands feeling oily, slick, or sticky, which is a huge selling point for me. I work in a hospital where I constantly wash and sanitize my hands. I experience dry and cracked skin on my hands frequently if I don’t moisturize. This is a great light moisturizer that provides relief throughout the day and prevents my hands from getting chapped. The only down-side is the fragrance – it smells nice but the facility is scent-free therefore I need to wait for the scent to dissipate before leaving my office. I personally don’t see the difference between this product with hyaluronic acid and those that don’t have it in terms of moisturization, nor do I feel like there is more water being retained in my hands which is the purpose of hyaluronic acid. If my hands do get sweaty, I can feel the product sitting on top which can make them feel slick but this is common to many hand creams. -

I have never tried a cream to foam product before and was very excited about this. I applied it using damp fingertips on my damp face, but was underwhelmed as I found that it didn't really foam up as I was expecting and still felt like more of a cream. The consistency reminds me a lot of marshmallow fluff and can have that sort of goopy consistency requiring you to add more water to thin it out to help with the foaming action. The scent is pleasant, and does not linger on the skin once it has been washed away. The product did a great job removing the oils on my face, however I did feel that "squeaky clean" feeling that left my skin feeling like it needed to be moisturized ASAP. I have combination skin and experience breakouts every once in a while, and will be using this product on those days to really clean the skin and get rid of excess oil, however it's definitely too drying for everyday use. -

This mask is said to unclog pores by removing dirt and excess oil and can be found at Walmart for $3.97 CAD. It is a single use sachet that had enough to generously cover my entire face, however I find that the packaging is excessive and can be minimized or put into a squeeze-tube for ease of application. The product itself is an opaque bubblegum pink liquid that smells like grapefruit and dries down to a transparent pink mask that can be peeled off after about 20 minutes. I applied it using a silicone mask brush for even application, and peeled it off easily using my fingers (it was especially satisfying because the whole thing came off in one piece and left no residue!). I didn’t notice that there was much “removed” on the mask, but I enjoyed how soft it left my skin and the fact that it didn’t require a rinse afterwards to get off small bits of the mask that wasn’t able to peel off. This is something that usually deters me from using a peel-off mask in the first place. It’s comfortable to wear and I found the scent to be pleasant. I would recommend it for oily skin as I found that it mattified my face without making it feel dry or uncomfortable. -

This mask is said to absorb oils and pore impurities, leaving skin feeling clean, healthy, and soft. It can be found at Walmart for $3.97. It is a single use sachet and contains the same 10g of product as the Peel-Off mask, however I will be able to get more than one use from it. The mask is an opaque pastel pink clay mask that smells of grapefruits, and can be washed off with water when it dries down after about 20 minutes. I applied it using a silicone mask brush for even application. I didn’t notice much being drawn to the surface once the mask was dried as I’ve seen before with various other clay masks, however the mask did leave my face feeling soft and clean without dryness or tightness. It’s comfortable to wear and I found the scent to be pleasant. I’m going to save the rest for when my skin gets really oily in the warmer weather, and try it again to see if it really does absorb oil on the skin. -
