This product is a light-blue, translucent, water-based gel cream with a light, fresh scent that dissipates a few minutes after application. A dime sized amount is enough to moisturize my hands. It absorbs relatively quickly and doesn’t leave your hands feeling oily, slick, or sticky, which is a huge selling point for me. I work in a hospital where I constantly wash and sanitize my hands. I experience dry and cracked skin on my hands frequently if I don’t moisturize. This is a great light moisturizer that provides relief throughout the day and prevents my hands from getting chapped. The only down-side is the fragrance – it smells nice but the facility is scent-free therefore I need to wait for the scent to dissipate before leaving my office. I personally don’t see the difference between this product with hyaluronic acid and those that don’t have it in terms of moisturization, nor do I feel like there is more water being retained in my hands which is the purpose of hyaluronic acid. If my hands do get sweaty, I can feel the product sitting on top which can make them feel slick but this is common to many hand creams. -

I have never tried a cream to foam product before and was very excited about this. I applied it using damp fingertips on my damp face, but was underwhelmed as I found that it didn't really foam up as I was expecting and still felt like more of a cream. The consistency reminds me a lot of marshmallow fluff and can have that sort of goopy consistency requiring you to add more water to thin it out to help with the foaming action. The scent is pleasant, and does not linger on the skin once it has been washed away. The product did a great job removing the oils on my face, however I did feel that "squeaky clean" feeling that left my skin feeling like it needed to be moisturized ASAP. I have combination skin and experience breakouts every once in a while, and will be using this product on those days to really clean the skin and get rid of excess oil, however it's definitely too drying for everyday use. -

This mask is said to unclog pores by removing dirt and excess oil and can be found at Walmart for $3.97 CAD. It is a single use sachet that had enough to generously cover my entire face, however I find that the packaging is excessive and can be minimized or put into a squeeze-tube for ease of application. The product itself is an opaque bubblegum pink liquid that smells like grapefruit and dries down to a transparent pink mask that can be peeled off after about 20 minutes. I applied it using a silicone mask brush for even application, and peeled it off easily using my fingers (it was especially satisfying because the whole thing came off in one piece and left no residue!). I didn’t notice that there was much “removed” on the mask, but I enjoyed how soft it left my skin and the fact that it didn’t require a rinse afterwards to get off small bits of the mask that wasn’t able to peel off. This is something that usually deters me from using a peel-off mask in the first place. It’s comfortable to wear and I found the scent to be pleasant. I would recommend it for oily skin as I found that it mattified my face without making it feel dry or uncomfortable. -

This mask is said to absorb oils and pore impurities, leaving skin feeling clean, healthy, and soft. It can be found at Walmart for $3.97. It is a single use sachet and contains the same 10g of product as the Peel-Off mask, however I will be able to get more than one use from it. The mask is an opaque pastel pink clay mask that smells of grapefruits, and can be washed off with water when it dries down after about 20 minutes. I applied it using a silicone mask brush for even application. I didn’t notice much being drawn to the surface once the mask was dried as I’ve seen before with various other clay masks, however the mask did leave my face feeling soft and clean without dryness or tightness. It’s comfortable to wear and I found the scent to be pleasant. I’m going to save the rest for when my skin gets really oily in the warmer weather, and try it again to see if it really does absorb oil on the skin. -

This probably has to be one of the strangest hair products I’ve ever tried. It was basically a scalp exfoliator with a really good grit to it however it didn’t build up a lather so it was challenging to work into the scalp. It also had a tingly cooling feeling which I’m usually ok with but this was too much for me and was definitely uncomfortable. -

This chip is different in look and shape which intrigues consumers from the get-go. I was pleasantly surprised to receive these as I had never heard of the product prior. Each chip is bite-sized and dome-shaped. The Honey BBQ flavouring coats the chip, and it is hollow in the middle of the dome. It is a very light and airy chip and has quite the crunch when you bite down into it. I find that the flavour is also light, and not as distinct as regular BBQ chips, but this doesn't bother me at all.
In all, this was a fun snack to enjoy at the cottage shared among friends (there were lots of comments on the unique shape of the chip) and I find that because of the shape, it would be a nice novelty snack when entertaining for a BBQ or something to that effect. However, the shape and texture isn't enough for me to want to repurchase. Although I did enjoy the snack, there was just nothing special enough to make me want to go back to the store and grab more but that's probably due to the fact that BBQ isn't my flavour of choice to begin with. If they make 'em in Ketchup, count me in!

When I first opened this and poured the product out, I was underwhelmed because the shower gel felt very runny and thin. I'm used to the thick and creamy consistency of the Dove body wash that I usually use on a daily basis and this felt like the exact opposite. However, after lather, application, and rinsing, I was pleasantly surprised that the product left my skin feeling very smooth and moisturized. It did not leave a squeaky clean feeling, but rather a silky feeling to the touch. I also really enjoyed the scent of mandarin and lime, I found it to be very citrusy and invigorating from the moment that the product was opened. It smells great for the duration of the shower but I didn't find that the scent lingered and I was able to apply my regular scented lotion after my shower without the scent being changed due to the mandarin/lime of the shower gel. -

The formula of this product intrigued me as you can use it as either a cleanser or a mask. I'm all for products that have a dual function, so this definitely appeals to me. I've used the product in both ways, but I prefer to use it as a cleanser once a week since it has AHA and salicylic acid and I don't prefer using products containing the two on a daily basis.
I find that the product applies smoothly and evenly; I will massage it into the skin using circular motions and then rinse off. It leaves my skin feeling cool, refreshed, and supple -- perfect for early mornings!
I don't find the product to be overly harsh or drying which is a plus since products I have used similar to this that contain AHA or salicylic acid have left my skin feeling tight or irritated.
Sometimes I will apply the product to my face, leave it on while I'm brushing my teeth, and then rinse off. It's not staying on long enough to dry as it was if it was being used as a mask, but it gives it a little more time to sink into the skin. I notice that the cool, tingly feeling is a bit more pronounced in these instances but it isn't uncomfortable in any way.
Overall, I would buy this product again because I can appreciate the duality of it. I like that I can get both a cleanser and a mask out of one product so that I don't need to buy separate products for different uses. I enjoy the feeling it leaves on the skin and can appreciate the lack of irritability on my sensitive skin. The price-point is right and it works well with my combination skin. I've experienced no issues in the weeks that I've been using it. Also, if you're not a fan of scented products, this has a very light, fresh scent that doesn't linger which I also enjoy because I hate smelling products on my face all day!
Highly recommend!

This is an interesting palette as it’s supposed to be used with your fingers and not a brush. The shadows are highly pigmented (swatches are one swipe with my finger) and it definitely performs better without a brush 100%. The only downside is that these colours all blend out to look somewhat similar on my eyelids because of my skin tone. I created this look using the first three swatched shades (tiki, heat wave, Malibu) and my finger, and as you can see, it’s nothing special. It would have definitely been a bit more user friendly if there was a transition shade or two for the crease. I’ll probably repurpose it as a highlighter palette as the colours are super reflective and catches the light beautifully -
