AVON Mega Effects Mascara

I tried this product with an open mind.. but as the old saying goes, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." I mean, really? Who was having problems with the wand application of mascara? The application wasn't right for me because it wasn't what I was used to doing - it felt like writing with the wrong hand. Anyway, the mascara itself stayed wet for a really long time.. so that was kind of annoying. It did cover my eye lashes, but not in any kind of revolutionary way. Actually, it didn't do as well as the mascara I normally use. I also felt like I was going to break the applicator every time I pulled it out. My last reason for why you should forget this product is because there's not really a lot of mascara! The packaging is very small, and for $10.00 you can get about 25% more mascara with Covergirl. Don't be a sucker for cute packaging. -

That's insane. You're really only getting 1.5ml tee tree oil in this product. Most brands will put on the front of their bottle "100% tee tree oil" - that's how you know you're getting the good stuff.
I went to the beauty section of the Loblaws near my house in Toronto, and found 100ml of 100% tree tree oil on sale for $10.95, regular $23.50! - keep your eyes open! body shop is not a very ethical company, unfortunately.

It's wearable as just a subtle pop of colour. Especially behind mascara it becomes even more subtle. For $20.00 I feel like it's a little pricey. However, I think I would buy this product in black for a liquid liner. The turquoise goes on very smoothly and it you have a lot of control, so I would expect the same for black. -

These white strips definitely work!! They stay on really well compared to other strips that I've tried in the past, and the results are undeniable. However, they are kind of harsh on your teeth and I can't keep them on the whole 2 hours. I usually give in around the 1.5 hour mark. I also take 2 Advil before I put them on because unfortunately my teeth get really sensitive afterwards and pretty much for the whole day the next day... but then it soon goes away.
I like that you only have to do them 4 times a year too, compared to the ones you have to use much more frequently! I guess that kind of makes the pain worth it.. and the damage they're doing to my teeth? Oh well, I with the amount of coffee I drink, I'm just glad a product like this exists to reverse the effects.
On the other hand this product is pretty expensive... I think I've seen then in Shoppers for close to $69.99.. which is kind of insane. I've found them in Wal-Mart before for closer to $50. Still expensive but would be willing to pay for that price.

Tried this eye shadow for the first time a few days ago, and totally love it. It can be used as a primer, highlight tone, or just swept across your eye lid to brighten up your face! Lasted the whole work day long and didn't fade or wear away. The colour has a nice light gold effect, shimmery and definitely bright. Cute colour for summer! Price-wise, still less expensive than MAC but I think I would prefer MAC eye shadow. -
