I had the opportunity via @Aveeno and @thisisbutterly and was excited to try the Aveeno Calm + Restore Daily Moisturizer with UVA/UVB Protection containing 100% Mineral Actives.
I have combination skin which is sensitive and acne prone - lucky me! While I do my best to cover my skin when I’m spending time outside - I know how challenging but important it is to protect my skin from the damaging rays of the sun, especially from that sneaky exposure just from daily living and going inside to outside etc.
I do prefer mineral sunscreen products vs their chemical equivalents as I feel there is far too much exposure to chemicals throughout our lives - but I have struggled to find one that didn’t feel too heavy or leave a white cast to my skin.
Upon opening, I noticed that it was a tinted cream, and while it took some time to blend it in, it did come out colourless after full application. I have fair toned skin and the slight tint worked for me, but I can see how other darker skin tones might have some challenges.
It is unscented and claims to be good for sensitive skin but it went on slightly thicker than other sunscreens or moisturizers I have used - and I wonder if it will cause breakouts after persistent continuous use. It did absorb fairly well but did leave my skin feeling slightly tacky, but that might be the product trying to straddle being both a sunscreen and moisturizer.
It did dry into a matte finish without feeling too drying on the skin and while I think this would be a more appropriate sunscreen than a daily moisturizer for my particular skin type, I can totally see this being a great choice for many people as part of their daily skincare routine.
I do appreciate what this product is trying to be (a combination of two products) and while I might use it more as a targeted sunscreen than a daily lightweight moisturizer - I do think it’s a great option for those busy days and a great addition to my occasional skincare routine with its added sun protection and ease of use.

There are 36 patches in a pack, and this product was easy to use and apply, and has proven to be a very effective solution for my frustrating and painful blemishes.
They adhere securely and comfortably to my skin and create a protective barrier that helps extract impurities while you sleep or go about your day. The results were amazing – there was significant reduction in the size and redness of my blemishes overnight.
The transparent design even makes them discreet enough to wear out during the day, and they even provided some redness coverage that I normally would have tried to fix with concealer when going out.
I also loved that these patches are non-drying, and left the surrounding skin unaffected, even preventing the dreaded peeling and damage associated with some other spot treatments.
These Hero patches use gentle skin-friendly ingredients which gives me peace of mind to use their products, even on my sensitive skin. 10/10 recommend!

I was able to try this new Aveeno Calm+Restore Skin Therapy Balm and I was absolutely thrilled with the results. The balm went on smooth and provided relief from the daily irritation I experience as someone with sensitive skin. It was especially effective in combination with the Aveeno Calm + Restore Nourishing PHA exfoliator and made my skin feel healthy and fresh. Will absolutely be making this a regular part of my skin care routine! -

The grape liquid formula was easy to administer and quickly relieved the fever and discomfort my little one was having after routine immunizations. While I would likely try the non-dye variety next time, this was effective and worked quickly and easily. -
