Chapman's ice cream always has a lovely texture and flavour to it. Chapman's Original Canadian Maple Crunch Ice Cream follows suit. Smooth and creamy, a delicious vanilla ice cream with the added flavour of maple. The kids loved seeing the maple leaf in the centre. I personally prefer ice cream on cones, so wouldn't normally slice it. I enjoy maple flavour, but would have preferred it to be a bit stronger in this ice cream. I really only noticed the flavour when eating the centre maple leaf, where the maple was most concentrated. There are crunchy maple bits throughout the rest of the ice cream, but I didn't notice them at all in flavour or texture while eating. Overall, Chapman's Original Canadian Maple Crunch Ice Cream was a hit with the kids, but not a clear favourite for the adult. -

I have been using the L'Oréal Paris Wrinkle Expert 45+ Night Moisturizer for about a week now. Using it in conjunction with the L'Oréal Paris Wrinkle Expert 45+ Day Moisturizer, I have noticed positive results in a short time. My skin has felt plumper, soft and hydrated.
The cream is a bit thick, but applies well. The thickness makes me feel as though it is an extra layer of protection. By morning, the lotion had fully absorbed and left no residue.
I will continue to use this product and see its long-term effects on wrinkles and firmness.

First impression - I love the container. Very pretty and elegant looking, with a very smooth lid adding a nice tactile experience. The cream has a slight fragrance to it, but the scent didn't linger once applied. The cream is a bit thicker than my usual brand, but still easy to apply and absorbs well. I did feel that I noticed it on my face more than my usual brand, but not enough to be a deal-breaker. After using for a few days, my skin did feel softer and plumper/hydrated. I would have to use this more long-term to see if it has any affect on reducing wrinkles. Overall I enjoyed using L'Oréal Paris Wrinkle Expert 45+ Anti-Wrinkle Day Moisturizer and am happy with its performance so far. -

I received a sample of the CoverGirl Weightless Water Cream for review. #gotitfree The cream is not to thick, and applies nicely on the face. It truly does feel like water in cream form. The cream absorbed quickly and did not leave any sticky feeling. Putting on make-up afterwards was easy and not affected by the cream.
The CoverGirl Weightless Water Cream claims to offer 72-hr hydration. On the first day of use, my skin does feel soft and more supple than usual.
I would continue to use this product and purchase it in the future. I would be excited to see changes to my skin based on long-term usage.

I tried Cool Maker GO GLAM Nail Surprise Press On Manicure Set. When opening the packaging, I didn't realize that it would be an unboxing experience -- my daughter loves those. The items were hidden behind easy to open cutouts in fun shapes like a guitar or pineapple in my set. I deducted a star because I found the packaging to be too busy with information. It was difficult for me to find instructions/figure out what to do, and took awhile to realize that the nails 'did things' like change colour or reveal a symbol when wet. In terms of applying, you attach a double-sided sticker to the nail piece than apply to the child's fingernail. It was easy enough to do (though you need to match the sizes together well -- might be better if these items were labelled so you can match them together easier) and the sticker stayed on strongly, but was easy enough to come off when needed. I think these press on nails would be best suited for pre-teens. My daughters (age 5 and 9) didn't like the length of the nails, and felt it was too grown up for them. Overall a fun idea and cute set that works well and was fun to open. -

I received a free purchase coupon to try and review Sponge Towels UltraPro. First off, I liked the pattern on the paper towel. You can tell right away just by looking at it that this is a thicker, more durable paper towel. Compared to my usual brand, the paper towel is double the thickness (it is 2 layers) and feels softer. I like that the roll is perforated, so you can choose one section for a half sheet or two sections for a whole section or larger.
I used the Sponge Towels UltraPro to clean up a couple spills. It worked quickly and easily, requiring only a small amount of sheets.
Sometimes we use paper towel as a facial napkin - I think the softness of these would be nice and not irritating for the face.
The price of these paper towels is higher than I would normally purchase for a similar product. The quality however is above average, so likely worth the extra cost. I would purchase them again.

We received Mermaid High doll Finly to review. We had quite a lot of issue trying to get the package opened - the back paper piece seemed to be glued on and was very difficult to pry apart from the plastic. If all packaging is like this, it will definitely require an adult to do. Once we got the doll out we were quite pleased. Finly has beautiful long, soft hair. Not knowing about this doll series in advance, we were a bit disappointed that the mermaid tail is only clothing and not a plastic tail, and that it is not a bath toy. My daughter got over these quickly, and was happy to play with her.
Several accessories are included - shorts, comb, sunglasses, purse, shoes and a surprise accessory in a sealed package. We were most excited about the clamshell though - what surprise would we find inside??!! Instructions say to put the clamshell into water and it will pop open. Not sure how long we were supposed to leave it in the water, but it did not magically open itself. Instead, we opened it manually.
The doll itself is well made. Her knees are articulated, so she can sit. This was a fun feature, however, I wished her waist would have moved a bit as she would fall backwards if it was not positioned just right. My daughter enjoyed playing with this doll. I think she will provide a lot of entertainment.

Overall I am pleased with the Degree Women Antiperspirant Dry Spray - UltraClear Black + White. I did have an issue where my nozzle fell off when I took off the cap, but it was easy to put it back. Easy and powerful spray. It does spray a wide area, so you don't need to be so close to underarm. Application is quite cold but totally dry. I didn't experience any residue or sticky feeling afterwards. The antiperspirant has a nice fragrance while spraying. I felt protected for the entire day. -

I enjoyed using Aveeno Restorative Skin Therapy Repairing Cream. It is fragrance-free, which I prefer. The cream is not overly thick and absorbs really well without a greasy feeling. My skin gets very dry in the cold months. Using the Aveeno Restorative Skin Therapy Repairing Cream has helped my hands feel more protected and not as dry. I would purchase this product in the future. -
