I received a sample of Schmidt's Rose + Vanilla Natural Deodorant to try. I was surprised by the colour of the deodorant...a beige; not what I am used to. I found the rose scent to be too strong for my liking, and did not notice any vanilla scent. Using the deodorant, it feels extremely grainy when applying, though not sticky. I find it messy to apply, with residue being left on the top/sides of the container regardless of how carefully I applied it. I found the scent to last quite some time throughout the day. I'm not sure how well this held up against sweating. I noticed my underarm sweat more than normal, but no one complained that I smelled, so that is good. Given this is my first experience using natural deodorant, perhaps the texture of Schmidt's is to be expected. I like the idea of it being natural, and would be willing to try a different scent. -

I enjoyed using the Voila by Sobeys service. First off, their website was easy to use and functioned well. I like that there was a focus on sale items on front page. It is easy to tell which items are on sale as the price is in red, so catches the eye. Also, items that are not in stock are greyed out, so again easy to identify.
I didn't notice a link to the weekly flyer, but since sale products were easy to identify, that wasn't a huge deal for me.
I like that fruit and vegetable quantity was very easily identified. Amount was already assigned (i.e. you can buy 4 tomatoes or 4 apples), instead of other stores where you enter quantity and don't know if they are considering quantity as weight or number of items.
Adding items to cart was easy and quick. The website did not lag at all.
The website has a lot of products available, but I found it a bit odd that some things were not listed. Example, only 1 large bag of potatoes, and I could only find large bags of apple in 1 variety (Granny Smith) instead of several varieties to choose from (Gala, MacIntosh etc.)
The site search function was only okay. Results did not return in the most accurate fashion. Example - searched Green Giant. The first 2 results were for another brand, then Green Giant products, then a bunch of other products and I had to scroll far down to find what I was looking for. The Green Giant products were not all together, but spread out over the search results.
There is a word predictor/prefill when searching so that is helpful.
I liked the amount of detail provided for most products. It would have been helpful if I could zoom in on product picture as well, as sometimes the size was not listed in product description.
My cart was easy to view, and I liked that you can change views, which allows you to see only product and quantity -- this makes it easy to ensure you have ordered proper quantity. Editing items to change quantity or remove was super easy.
One thing missing was I could not find anywhere to put whether I wanted substitutions or not. The delivery driver did mention that my order did not have substitutions, which gave me the impression that they would substitute if needed....so I would prefer to have control over what products are substituted.
The delivery fee of $8 is reasonable. The service process was easy and of high quality and superior customer service.
I did not find anywhere to enter my Air Miles number. Perhaps this service doesn't allow that, even though you can get Air Miles at Sobey's stores.
When ordering the next delivery date available was 2 days later, which is an acceptable wait time. I was permitted to edit my order up until the night before delivery which is very useful (though I didn't need to make any changes).
Order confirmation came immediately after the order, and was very clear and well organized.
The day of delivery, the delivery driver called about 10 minutes prior to my delivery hour. He confirmed a few details like where to deliver the items and if he should be aware of any parking issues. He advised that he would arrive in about 5 minutes and it would take a few minutes for him to gather my order.
His timing was exactly right, and my order was delivered exactly at the beginning of my delivery hour (11 am).
Products were separated into cold items and not cold items, and packed well and properly. Bags were quite large and sturdy. Frozen items were still frozen.
Fruit and vegetables were of good quality.
Our delivery driver was very professional, helpful and friendly. He thanked us for our order and as he knew we were first time customers, he said he hopes to see us again.
Very happy with this service. I learned after my order that Voila also carries some FarmBoy and Well.ca products. This is valuable as well, so I would look further into what products are available.
Another benefit to Voila is that orders are picked directly from the warehouse. This is great as there is less human interaction with the product, product is fresher and also more reliability with products being in stock.
Happy that I was able to try Voila by Sobeys and will definitely be a future customer.

I was very excited to try the Becel plant-based bricks when I first learned about it through this campaign. Unfortunately, given the Covid-19 situation, I have been isolating and was not able to go to as many stores in order to locate this product. The couple of stores that I did try did not carry this product. I had notified of the concerns i had trying to redeem a coupon during Covid-19, but the campaign has not been removed from my board, and I am getting emails to complete it, so this is what I can do.
I have given an average review of 3 on taste and quality as I can not properly assess.
I have given a 5-star for value because the price of this product is pretty well the same as regular butter. In my opinion, it could be priced higher given the additional benefits it offers (vegan, dairy-free).
I think the Becel plant-based bricks are a truly unique product that I will try in the future.
I like that this product is vegan and dairy-free and still cooks like regular butter. It has 25% less saturated fat than butter.
I am curious to see how well it spreads on bread.

I really enjoyed the tropical flavour. The flavours were so prominent and burst in my mouth with each spoonful.
This product is unsweetened, and just 50 calories. I didn't notice at all the lack of added sugar. The taste was great and perfect.
Will definitely purchase again and try the other varieties. This is a satisfying and healthy snack for kids and adults alike.

I wasn't sure about trying a new deodorant, as I am pretty loyal to my current brand. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the Dove 0% Aluminum Deodorant. It goes on smoothly, and has a very subtle scent (I tried Cucumber & Green Tea). It dried quickly on my underarms, and I felt protected for the day. I was most pleased that it did not leave any white marks on clothing, as it goes on clear. I am not sure it masks smells entirely for extreme sweating, so took off 1 point for effectiveness. I will continue using. -

Being a water gel, it absorbs very quickly and efficiently into the skin, and leaves a light feeling. It was no problem to put on make-up soon after applying the sunscreen.
I was not in the sun for a long period during use, so cannot speak to how well it protects against burning.
The price is on the higher end for such a small bottle. I only used it for my face, so only needed to use a little bit to get full coverage. However, to use for entire body, it could get expensive.

The price is reasonable for a specialty hand cream. The size of the bottle is small, but you only need a small amount to get good coverage.
There is a slight scent when applying the Hydro Boost Hand Gel Cream. I could personally do without the scent, but it was not overwhelming, and didn't linger on my hands afterwards.
I liked that the cream absorbed quickly and my hands did not feel greasy afterwards.
The only thing I am not convinced on was its longevity. Over the day, I felt that my hands were feeling drier than they usually do with my regular hand moisturizer.

Loved the little individual packets of the All-in-One Make-up Removing Cleansing Wipes. Can throw in my purse of bag and take with me on the go.
The wipe size is quite large and the material feels very durable.
The wipe worked extremely well, even on my eye make-up.
It was very gentle on my face and eyes, and I did not feel any stinging.
I was very pleased with how well these wipes worked and quickly too.
Best make-up removing wipe I have tried.

I was impressed with how smooth and creamy the ice cream is. Very enjoyable. The flavour of the Caramel Brownie was nice, but I am not sure it is a favourite of mine.
The ice cream tastes sweet. I would not guess that this is a low calorie ice cream at all. It truly compares to regular ice cream.
I would try Breyers Delights again. The store I purchased this at sold it at a very high price, so I would wait for a sale, as the value is not really there for me since it is such a small container. Saying that, I did find the 125 mL serving to be satisfying, and didn't need to have more.

I enjoy John Frieda products so was looking forward to trying the Go Blonder Lemon Miracle Masque.
The first thing I noticed when applying was the smell. It was slightly like lemon scent, but mixed with something. I didn't enjoy the scent, but it didn't last long and once applied I didn't notice any remaining scent.
I decided to apply the masque to all my hair, not just the ends. The amount of product needed was quite minimal to do this, which was good as it applies easily and gets all over. The bottle then allows for several applications.
My hair seemed softer and more manageable after the masque.
I will continue using.
