I was excited to try this turkey bacon because I am trying to eat a little cleaner but still craving something bacon-ish. The Butterball Applewood Smoked Turkey Bacon honestly surprised me in a good way. Flavour-wise, it's smoky and savory, with a solid applewood flavor that doesn’t taste fake or overpowering. I also like that it’s lower in fat than regular bacon which fits better with how I’m trying to eat lately. But I will say, it's pretty high in sodium, so if you’re watching salt, that’s worth noting. As for the ingredients, they’re not perfect, but not terrible either—typical for most processed meats. The main ingredient is turkey, and it’s not overly greasy or full of filler, which is a big plus. Cooking it in the air fryer is great as it gets really crispy, which I didn’t expect from turkey bacon. A few minutes at 385°F and it comes out perfect with no oil and no mess. It is great on breakfast sandwiches or crumbled on a salad. Overall, it’s not health food, but it’s a tasty, leaner alternative to pork bacon that I feel okay about eating in moderation.

I was excited to try these while looking for a better-for-you alternative to traditional beef hot dogs. I didn’t have high expectations as I have never had turkey franks before, but I was pleasantly surprised by how solid these were. They’re not 100% clean eating, but compared to a lot of other processed hot dogs, they’re a step in the right direction. They also have fewer calories and less fat than typical beef franks, which is one of the main reasons I tried them in the first place. Flavour wise, they’re definitely milder than a beef hot dog. You’re not getting a ton of smokiness or bold seasoning, but the taste is clean and not overly salty or artificial. They cook up well especially on the grill and are great to airfry. I also like that they’re not greasy and have few calories. Simple, healthier ingredients, decent taste, and a clean finish. Not a gourmet dog, but a good everyday option if you’re trying to eat a bit smarter.

As a dentist I was very excited to try the TheraBreath Whitening Fresh Breath Oral Rinse which provides both gentle whitening and long-lasting breath freshening without the use of peroxide or alcohol. From a dental perspective, this rinse is a good option for patients who have sensitive teeth or gums and are seeking a whitening product that doesn’t irritate soft tissues or enamel. Unlike peroxide-based whiteners, TheraBreath works gradually and is more suited for maintaining brightness rather than producing dramatic whitening results. One of its biggest advantages is that it’s very gentle, making it suitable for patients with sensitive teeth or gums. I appreciate that it doesn’t burn or dry out the mouth like traditional alcohol-based mouthwashes, and it can therefore be safely used twice daily. Overall, I would recommend this product as part of a daily oral hygiene routine. It's safe for long-term use and works best when combined with regular brushing, flossing, and professional dental care. For patients who are sensitive to stronger whitening products, this is a gentle alternative that I recommend.

I’ve been using Ultime Expression+ for about four weeks now, focusing mainly on the fine lines around my mouth. The texture is lightweight but rich, and it absorbs quickly without leaving any residue. I also absolutely love the subtle smell of this product.
My skin feels soft and smooth and even though the deeper lines aren’t gone, they do look softer, which is honestly all I was hoping for. I didn’t see major results overnight, but with consistent use morning and night, there’s definitely a subtle but real improvement. One small downside is the size of the tube as it’s on the smaller side for the price point. That said, a little goes a long way, and I appreciate that it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. If you have realistic expectations about what a topical product can do and you're consistent with your routine, I think this is a worthwhile product to try.

I tested the Yankee Candle Vanilla Crème Brûlée Candle because I love this brand and the design is very cute. The scent is a warm blend of creamy vanilla custard, toasted praline, and a hint of torched sugar. It's sweet and inviting without being overpowering. The candle burns evenly and lasts a decent amount of time. However, I did notice that the scent is more subtle compared to some other Yankee Candle products like the jar candles. While it fills a small room nicely, it's not as noticeable in larger areas. Overall, a lovely addition to my living room and I cannot wait to try more of the scents. -

I've been using the Kerasal Nighttime Nail Renewal Patches for a few weeks now, and I'm impressed with the results. The patches are easy to apply and stay in place throughout the night. I've noticed a visible improvement in the appearance of my nails—they look healthier and less discolored. While it's not an instant fix, consistent use has made a noticeable difference. Highly recommend for those looking to improve their nail health without seeing a podiatrist. The only downside is that I wish that more patches came in the pack. -

I picked up Chapman's Piña Colada Sorbet and I was pleasantly surprised because I normally prefer chocolate flavours. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it ended up being one of the most refreshing treats I’ve had in a while especially in the hot weather. The balance between the pineapple and coconut is just right and not too sweet, and the coconut isn’t overpowering like it sometimes can be in tropical-flavoured things. The texture is super smooth and light, and it melts in your mouth like a proper sorbet should. What I loved most is that it actually tastes real, and not some artificial candy version. It’s dairy-free too, which is a bonus for anyone avoiding milk, but it still feels rich and satisfying. If you’re into tropical flavours or just want something cooling and different, this one’s worth a try. The only downside of the treat is the ingredients as I would prefer something with cleaner and more orgnanic ingredients. -

I’ve been using the CANVAS Mushroom LED Touch Lamp for a few weeks now, and it’s honestly been such a cozy little game-changer—especially for nighttime feeds with my newborn. 💡👶
🛏️ Soft, warm glow – The dimmable LED gives off the perfect amount of light when I’m up for those 2 a.m. feeds. Just enough to see without overstimulating the baby or waking up my partner.
🌙 Touch control = lifesaver – No fumbling for switches. A quick tap and you’re good. I can even adjust the brightness with one hand (which is all I usually have free 😅).
🔋 Portable & cordless – I’ve moved it from the nursery to the bedroom to the living room without ever needing to plug it in. So convenient.
🪑 Aesthetic win – The modern mushroom design fits right in with our decor. Chic and functional? Yes please.
⚠️ Only minor downside: at full brightness, the battery doesn’t last super long. But for soft, ambient light at night, it’s more than enough.
💯 If you’re a new parent or just love cozy lighting, this lamp is a must-have.

As a first-time parent, I spent a lot of time researching the best vitamin D supplement for my baby, and I'm so glad I found PediaVit™ Vitamin D3 Drops. We've been using it daily for a few weeks now and it's been such a simple and reliable part of our routine. The dropper makes it super easy to measure out the correct dose, and I love that it's just one drop a day. I usually place it right on my nipple before a feed or on a pacifier, and baby takes it without any fuss. It seems like it has no odd taste and doesnt cause tummy issues at all. I also love that it's made in Canada and doesn’t have any added sugar, colours, or preservatives. -

I was excited to try the OGX Bond Protein Repair Shampoo after noticing some breakage and dryness in my hair, especially at the ends. Between regular heat styling and seasonal dryness, my hair needed some TLC, and I was so excited to try a shampoo that promised strengthening and repair without a salon-level price tag. Right off the bat, the scent is lovely and is clean, slightly floral, and not too strong. It also lathers really well for a sulfate-free formula. After rinsing, my hair already felt a bit smoother, not stripped or squeaky like some shampoos that claim to "repair" but end up drying the hair out. Over the past few weeks, I’ve been using it consistently along with the matching conditioner and the sealing serum. I’ve noticed less breakage when I brush or style my hair, and overall it just feels more manageable. My ends don’t feel as brittle, and there’s more softness from root to tip. Definitely recommend this product for hair repair! -
