I ordered Hugo Naturals Vanilla & Sweet Orange Essential Massage Oil in hopes of finding a good massage oil with nice "slip" & a pleasant scent. The product came in a brown glass bottle, better for protecting the oil inside, with a screw-top cap & plastic limiter inside, so as to drip the oil out, not pour it.
As a massage oil, it's quite nice. It provides good slip, making it easy to manipulate the muscles without pulling on the skin. I found it to be very lightly scented in the bottle, & almost unscented on skin contact--a little disappointing.
Would purchase again for the massage qualities, but would likely scent it myself with additional sweet orange oil for that experience.

I'm a thrifty girl--I like to get the most for my money. I've been interested in those "makeup removing cloths" (you know the brand!) since buying one for my daughter's Christmas stocking. I've seen hers remove a full face of makeup cleanly with just water. Just didn't want to spend that much on one for me.
Then I saw the SEPHORA COLLECTION Black Magic Makeup Remover Cloths--a set of 2 cloths for just $15 so I decided to order. The cloths are smaller than the *brand name* one--they're 8" x 8" , so about the size of a baby washcloth. I use one nightly to remove my makeup using just warm water & have been SO satisfied with it! The only thing it didn't remove was a certain waterproof mascara (which was hard to take off even using baby oil), but long-wearing liner, all-day lip colour were no match for it.
The info lists that it's machine washable, but to not use any fabric softener. I just hand-wash mine with a bit of body wash & let it air-dry. Good as new. And since there were 2 in the pack, I keep one in my travel kit, so I always have a way to get squeaky-clean at the end of the day, even when I'm away from home.

The SEPHORA COLLECTION Smooth Finisher Exfoliating Bath Mitt had *such* glowing reviews on the Sephora website that I bit the bullet & ordered one. It's a simple "u" shaped double-sided mitt with a Sephora label & a small loop of the binding fabric to hang it from for drying. I'd say it provides a pretty gentle exfoliation--so gentle as to make me say "meh" about it. Honestly, I found a simple mesh pouf to provide better results. And the mitt is fairly small--I don't have large hands, but find it snug (& forget about it when hubby tried to was my back with it, no way it was going on his hand). I've had it for a couple of months & have discovered a section that's come un-stitched at the binding. It's repairable, but I honestly feel it shouldn't have started falling apart with so little use. -

The "How to Make Brows WOW" kit from essence is *such* a steal--paid $10 for it at SDM. It contains 3 brow filling powders in "love blondes", "love 'em all" & "love brunettes" as well as a highlighting powder. Also included in the kit are a sponge applicator/brush & a tiny pair of tweezers. I find that the "love 'em all" shade works wonders for filling in my brows--can also use the blondes shade for a slightly lighter colour. And because I'm thrifty that way, have started using the darkest brunettes shade as eyeliner. ;) The tiny brush works well to fill in my brows & the colour lasts all day. -

Method Gel Hand Wash in Driftwood scent...mmmmmm! Okay, it's a soap, it gets dirty things clean (& does a great job of it too!). It also leaves my hands soft & lightly scented with a "manly" scent--that's in a "oooh, you smell NICE" way, not in an "ewww, get away from me" way. Faintly cedar & spice, a warm, pleasant scent left behind on your nice, clean hands. -

I bought the NOW Solutions Metal Touch Ultrasonic Oil Diffuser for use in my home--love to have various scents & like being able to use essential oils/blends for this. The diffuser is very pretty--the sides are a tree branch-looking cutout pattern. It's LED light rotates through different colours which show through the cutout sides--you can also select the setting to use the diffuser only, without the lights, perfect for use in a dark room (headache, I'm looking at you).
Super easy to use--just fill with water to the mark, add your choice of essential oils, put the cover back on & touch the switch to turn it on. Nearly silent while running (occasionally hear the water bubbling), it produces such a fine mist (a vapour, really) that there's no worry of your table/countertop/etc getting wet. Effectively scents a large room, has an auto-off feature as well, so no worries about leaving it running.

I *so* wanted the little bottle of It's a 10 Miracle Leave In product I bought to really work miracles! Alas, the only miracle was that I spent my time & money on it. :(
The product is pretty heavily scented--a problem for me & other "scent-sitive" folks. The scent doesn't dissipate when the product dries either...it was strong enough (& unpleasant) that it actually gave me a headache. Hubby even suggested that I go re-wash my hair, as *he* thought the scent was strong. I stuck it out & dried my hair as usual. The product did not leave my hair soft & silky, but actually left it difficult to comb through & dull looking (& no, I didn't over-use the product). Very disappointed.

Tresemme Repair & Protect 7 Pre-Styling Spray is my go-to, use every time product these days. I use it after shampooing/conditioning on damp, towel-dried hair. Spray several pumps all through my hair, comb it through to be thorough then dry my hair--the Spray acts as a good heat protectant (though I do use another heat protector if I'm using my flat iron). On days I let my hair air-dry, it leaves it frizz free & *so* soft. -
