’m a born and raised Calgarian, currently living way in the east coast - Prince Edward Island.

By day I work in marketing and by night I am always checking out the latest and greatest beauty products. I worked in cosmetics during my high school and college years, that is where my love for beauty all began. I started The Blonde Maven because over the years I became a (self titled) beauty advisor to my family and friends (and their friends!) answering makeup and skincare questions, making product recommendations and updating their makeup looks. I’m not a professional makeup artist; I did receive training while I worked in the beauty industry so learned some great tricks! But I just have a soul deep love for everything beauty. I am always looking for the greatest products – whether they are new or industry veterans – and love sharing my great finds with friends.
