I was selected by ChickAdvisor to test Dove Nutritive Solutions Daily Moisture Shampoo for free.
I've always been a fan of Dove products. I can expect quality without emptying my pocketbook and this shampoo was no exception! I have thin, fine hair and I have to shampoo daily otherwise my hair look like a nasty grease pile. This shampoo kept my hair clean in between washings without my hair feeling weighed down. It has a great but not overbearing scent, gave a good lather in the show and washed out clean. I will definitely purchase from this line again.

Let's just state a fact. I am a crazy cat lady.
I don't have one or two cats, I have NINE furry feline companions that share my home with me so when I was offered to test Nutrience Subzero, I jumped at the chance. I foster kittens for a local rescue group, so starting a kitten off with good nutrition is of the utmost importance to me. I know that a raw diet is the healthiest and most natural for cats but unfortunately it's just not a possibility for me. It's too expensive and I don't drive so having to drive to meat markets to buy the most freshest meat possible just can't be done - especially when I'm trying to feed nine hungry kitties.
Nutrience has the raw meat that my cats crave but in a dehydrated form plus gluten free kibble that is made from Canadian ingredients! The food gives my cats all the required nutrients their bodies need plus none of the junk that they don't need that can be found in most store bought cat food. Plus, it's easy and convenient to feed to them.
My cats loved the dehydrated raw food so much that I found them picking through their food bowls and eating those pieces first before eating the kibble! Although I was given the Red Prairie flavour to test, I have also purchased the Fraser Valley flavour for them as well! They loved them both!

I purchased the refrigerated Coconut Dream after being picked to sample it free of charge. For the last few years I've been purchasing non-dairy milk instead of dairy milk for a couple of reasons. It's often cheaper, has a longer shelf life and I don't have to worry about hormones or such. I've never tried Coconut Dream before though. Although I found the taste to be a little bland on it's own, it worked well in cereal and breakfast shakes! It was super creamy and unlike the shelf stable brands I've purchased before, it wasn't watery and gritty. I wish there were more flavours or sweetened versions as I'd be more willing to continue purchasing Coconut Dream. -

I started using Herbal Essences Wild Naturals Rejuvenating Oil Elixir and I absolutely love it! It's absorbs well into my hair without it feeling greasy and any it moisturises my hands at the same time! -

I was recently selected to test Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep through Chick Advisor. Now typically this would never be a product I would consider using due to the price. It's waaaay more expensive than anything I've ever used in the past but after using it, I can understand why it's priced so high - it works! I have extreme combination skin - my forehead is so dry that it flakes, my nose is usually pretty oily and my cheeks are dry and red. I've been using this product for the last two weeks and I've seen a noticeable difference with my skin. My forehead is no longer flaking and seems to stay hydrated all day long and I'm not waking up to an oil slick on my nose. The redness on my cheeks is no longer as noticeable and my entire face seems brighter. Love this product! -

This is one of the first skin care products I remember using! I would even spend my allowance on it when I was a teenager and 15 years later, it's still one of the products I still reach for. It works and won't break the bank!

GOSH Giant Blush

I rarely wear blush. I think I'm just too awful at picking a colour and I always end up looking like a 5 year old who went through her mum's makeup bag and ended up with bright pink cheeks...that said though...I really liked GOSH Giant Blush! The colour was perfect on me, and was super easy to apply. It looked natural and I didn't feel made up when wearing it. I'll definitely continue to use this product!

I'm kind of a laid back kind of girl when it comes to makeup but if I could only pick two products to wear on a daily basis, hands down I would pick mineral powder and mascara.
I have mild rosacea so I'm quite self-conscious about the redness on my face but at the same time, I don't want to cover it with a heavy foundation which could actually just worsen the problem. Because of this, I love using a good quality mineral powder to help cover the redness without making it worse.
I really enjoyed GOSH Mineral Powder. It went on quite smoothly and I didn't need to put a lot on to cover up the red. It seemed to last throughout the day and didn't transfer to my collar or other clothing.
I only wish they had given me a lighter colour to test as I'm quite pale and 004 was just a little too dark for my complexion!

Although I'm the kind of girl that doesn't wear a lot of makeup on a daily basis, there are always two items that I wear, even when I'm in a hurry - mineral powder and mascara. As a blonde, my eyelashes tend to disappear without any mascara so I'm always trying out new products to bring out my naturally long, yet blonde, eyelashes.
I really liked GOSH Double Precision Mascara. It went on smoothly and having two different sized brushes was really nice for the little lashes on the bottom and inside edge of my eyes. At the end of the day the mascara didn't end up under my eyes like so many other products tend to! I definitely liked this product!

As I am someone who rarely wears lipstick, when I do, I want it to work well. The GOSH Lip Lacquer went on smoothly and the colour was bright, but unfortunately I didn't find that it lasted very long at all. I recently attended a Gala and choose to wear my new GOSH Lip Lacquer but unfortunately before I even left the house for the event, I already had to reapply it.
