I really like this finishing spray. It takes just a couple pumps and a few seconds to dry, and my makeup's staying power is drastically improved. It's light, colourless, and unscented, and yes, it works. I was skeptical at first, but I've found that at the end of the day, my makeup looks much smoother and more "in tact" than without the Urban Decay spray. I spray my forehead once, and each side of my face once, making sure that my lower T-zone is covered.
I don't use it everyday (because I'm just not that fussy about my makeup), but it is a must-have for my special occasions and nights out. As I mentioned, I wasn't really sure what to expect from this, so I went to Sephora and found a travel/trial size (15 mL) to experiment with. For as often as I use it (3 pumps maybe once a week), the trial size will last a long time and is good enough for me. If you're using it daily, the full size is more economical, at least at Sephora.

Firstly, the packaging is attractive and the coupons inside are definitely appreciated. The pads are individually wrapped, which I prefer.
The pads themselves are great - exactly what I need for my super-light periods. They are designed with a front and a back, and the back is a bit wider. Just a little extra peace of mind. The wings are indented in the middle, which is a great idea because they contour and fold around your panties easier than the wings that bunch up. My only complaint: I wish there was a little more adhesive. I never had a problem with the pads shifting, but I think they could be more secure.
These pads absorbed very well, and had the capacity to protect me all day long. (I could probably just use one per day and through the following night, but I prefer to change things up and stay fresh.)
The pad is vented through the middle, most "high-traffic" area. I think this is great, because I feel cooler and fresher. It also seems to help initiate the absorption, rather than allowing your "fluid" to sit on top or spread around (sorry... awkward topic!) One feature that I didn't think I'd like that was scent of the pads. But I actually loved it! On the first day of my period, I went to the washroom and was pleasantly surprised at the fragrance. I've never had an odour problem, but it was almost refreshing to have a scented pad.
I will continue to use these pads, and would definitely recommend them to anyone with a light period or light days.

I love the packaging of the Tampax/Always Radiant collection, but it probably won't ever see the light of day again because I stash them away in my bathroom. So, as much as I'd LIKE to say them I wasn't at little it excited that the tampons are purple... I'd be lying.
They insert easily and comfortably, and were more than absorbant enough for my light periods. Removal was a little unpleasant, because in my case, they were probably too much protection.
They definitely prevented any leakage, but I would NOT recommend them for girls with light menses.

These ultra thin panty liners are THE BEST light coverage. You don't even know you're wearing them, but they provide just enough of a barrier to protect your underwear from *light* discharge or other such unpleasant/enexpected surprises. You obviously can't expect these to cover your through your period, but they are great for those days in between.
I think my favourite feature of these panty liners is their versatility. The paper-thin material bends easily to contour to almost any style of underwear, and the full-adhesive back holds it in place securely. AWESOME for boyshorts, thongs, and your standard bikini briefs. A light and comfortable extra layer.
The packaging is pretty and fun, but rather unimportant to me as I tend to stash these kinds of things in the back the a cupboard. The "fashion tips" on the side are probably a waste of ink... kind of elementary projects.
Not only will I buy this product again, this will be a permanent fixture in my bathroom. Highly recommended!

I use my silver Revlon eyelash curler faithfully, but when I forgot it at home during a recent vacation, I bought this Sally Hanson curler to tide me over.
This instrument produces a decent curl, but at the expense of a few lashes, a few tears, and a lot of your sanity. I nearly went cross-eyed trying to see what I was doing because you can't get a good view through the curler with the eye you are working on. The sliding parts on the side pinch the delicate skin surrounding my eyes and also ripped out some eyelashes. The angle between the handle and the curling part is such that it makes this tool awkward to use, and the rounded part of the head that is supposed to lay on your eyelid is too straight. These flaws make it difficult to use comfortably.
I've used 5 types of eyelash curlers and this was definitely in the bottom half.

Okay, this is the coolest-looking leave-in conditioner I've tried. It has a blue layer and a clear layer, and you have to shake it vigorously to blend then into a homogenous solution before using it.
The fragrance reminds me of a liquer of some sort, because I could smell the alcohol in it. At the risk of sounding like an alcoholic, I have to say that I kind of liked the smell :)
Application
As I mentioned, you have to give this a good shake before spraying it on your hair. I found that if I stopped spraying it to massage it through my hair, it would start to settle back out to it's separate layers in a matter of seconds. It may be my imagination, but I found it settles faster when it's colder (in a very scientific basement-versus-ground floor comparison). It's not a big problem - just give the bottle a shake between every pump or two to make sure you get a good mix of what's in there.
The bottle says to apply it to damp hair, before heat styling. With the Aqua Light shake, I saw less product steaming off of my (dry) hair while I flat-ironed it than I do with some other products - I think this is evidence that penetrates into the hair better, rather than coating it.
ATTENTION CURLY GIRLS: I also tried using this product when I scrunched my hair into it's naturally curly state. I used it throughout the day on my dry, styled curls, to keep them hydrated and control the frizz. It is *great* for this purpose! It doesn't hold the curls like hairspray, mousse, or gel, but the lightweight formula encouraged my curls and did wonders for smoothing them as the day passed.
Effectiveness
This Pantene lineup gave impressive results in terms of the "weightlessness" claim. My hair has more volume than usual. My hair is less shiny and smooth when I use the Aqua Light line, but still soft.
It protects my hair from heat styling damage as well as anything else I've tried.
Final Thoughts
This product has an average price point for drugstore brands, but doesn't seem to go far. I would expect the 160 mL bottle to provide about 30 applications for my armpit-length hair (again, that's "armpit length hair", and NOT "long armpit hair" haha).
I would recommend this for smoothing curls, because it doesn't weigh them down and still moisturizes the hair. If you're looking for something that will make your hair ultra-shiny, I think there are better options out there.
One last comment: It totally stings when it sprays in your eyes. Watch out for that.

Much like it's complimentary shampoo, this conditioner's fragrance is clean and refreshing. Also like it's counterpart, it is free of parabens (see my "Pantene Pro-V Aqua Light Shampoo" review for a summary of what parabens do).
Application
This is a thick and creamy product that is easy to apply and disperse throughout my hair. The directions say to comb it through your hair with your fingers, which I typically do anyways - I find it helps detangle my hair and helps the conditioner penetrate throughout it.
As promised, this conditioner rinses cleanly in a several seconds. Awesome news for thick-haired girls like myself!
Effectiveness
This Pantene lineup gave impressive results in terms of the "weightless nourishing" claim. My hair has more volume than usual. It doesn't moisturize as well as some of the other Pantene products, but this doesn't surprise me as I've always found there to be a bit of a volume-versus-moisture compromise for hair products. That being said, my hair still was hydrated enough that it wasn't crunchy or staticky.
I found that my hair is less shiny and smooth when I use the Aqua Light line, but still soft.

This shampoo has a clean, fresh scent, and the fragrance is not overpowering.
A big plus for this product is that it is paraben free. For those of you who don't know exactly what the paraben debate is all about, the basic idea is this: parabens are used in many personal care products as an anti-microbial preservative, but they are suspected to have a number of adverse effects such as mimicking estrogen in the body and therefore increasing the risk of breast cancer.
Application
The shampoo is thick and quickly produces a rich lather. It rinses out easily and leaves my hair squeaky-clean after one shampoo.

Although this isn't a fragrance I would typically be drawn to, I am LOVING the Febreze CAR vent clip in Linen & Sky! The fresh smell now greets me every time I get into my vehicle, and isn't over-powering on long drives.
Looks. I like the look of this little unit, it's small and kind of blends in with the grey interior of my vehicle. Although it's not inconspicuous, it actually looks kind of cool because you can see the liquid inside.
Effectiveness. As I mentioned, I wouldn't normally choose this scent for myself, but I admit, it makes my whole SUV smell like fresh laundry EVEN when I left my sports gear, sneakers and leg brace in the back! And that's just on the lowest setting of fragrance intensity. I might actually prefer if there was an even lower setting, and I know that for myself, I would never, ever use it on the highest intensity... but this is working well for me. I should add that I haven't been using my heater or A/C much lately - perfect weather! :) - but I would imagine that greater airflow would make a big difference on how much fragrance was emitted, and how long it lasts.
Cost. The price point for this item is pretty reasonable, I would say. I haven't had it long enough to see how long it lasts, but the package says it lasts up the 30 days. If this is the case, I wouldn't say that the value is extraordinary.
Drawbacks. One thing I don't like about the vent clip is that it ties up a vent. It doesn't block airflow, but the adjustability of the vent is a little compromised, at least in my Equinox. Also, I'd like to see refills for this product, to save on cost and waste materials.
This definitely beat the classic cardboard tree hanging from my rear-view!
Lastly, a big THANKS to the Product Review Club for giving me the opportunity to try this new item!!

Thanks to the Product Review Club for choosing me to review this product!
I got a good first impressions of the L'oreal Professionnel Intense Repair Masque. It smells nice and has a nice rich, thick texture. My hair is about 24" long, so I use more than the average person, but this size should last about 4-6 weeks.
One thing I don't like is that the instructions for the conditioning mask say to apply it to towel-dried hair. Wierd, I thought. I did it the first few times, but honestly, the extra time and effort it took to wrap my hair up in the middle of my shower proved to be more of a hassle than anything. Now I just squeeze as much water as I can out of my hair before I apply it and I don't notice that it works any differently.
I do think the masque helps to restore some moisture in my hair. My hair was softer after one use, but I didn't notice that it made it much smoother. The benefits seemed to plataeu after the first few uses, but I'm happy with the healthier level that my hair seems to have reached.
One of the most noticeable perks is the crazy shine my hair has after I use these products! I really can't believe it - it catches my eye every time I pass by a mirror! Also, the duo really helps to detangle my long hair!
