I agree with other reviewers that it depends on the Winners that you visit, but I have no patience for Winners. The only areas that I will visit are Home, Shoes, and Purses. I will admit, I have purchased some great shoes and boots from Winners; however, I have no patience to sift through their endless racks of musty-smelling clothes (that usually don't end up fitting correctly in the Change Room). -

I love the Urban Decay Naked Palette. The palette comes with 12 neutrals, ranging from delicate champagne to gunmetal. They include a variety of textures, such as glitter, matte and shimmer. The case is lovely as it includes a mirror and an eyeshadow brush. I find that I use the first two eye shadows the most - Virgin (nude satin) and Sin (champagne shimmer). I use them over and under my eyelids to lighten dark circles and create a highlighting effect! My sister bought it for me as a Christmas present from Sephora for $60. Not sure if it is sold cheaper elsewhere! -

I recommend the Benefit Boxed Power Dandelion blush. It is a ballerina-pink pressed highlighting powder. I love the compact brush that comes with the blush and package design. I also appreciate the mirror that is included underneath the top of the box, in case you are applying it in the car or reapplying it at work.
The blush has a very natural colour and gives my skin a radiant, soft glow. I have a tendency to apply the powder on other areas of my face, not only my cheeks!

I recommend Rimmel London Bronzer. I have purchased this product at Shopper's Drug Mart and Walmart, and have never paid more than $5. The price and quality of product are fantastic, especially considering other makeup brand name bronzers will be much more expensive (e.g., MAC offers a bronzing powder for $30).
The colour of the bronzer can be a bit dark for paler skin tones, like myself, so you have to be careful how you apply it. I usually use a large powder brush, circle it in the bronzer and tap the brush to get rid of excess powder before applying it on my face. Makes it look much natural as it controls the amount you are applying.

I have been to Taz Hair Salon at both the Etobicoke and Yorkville location. From most staff, I have experienced very poor customer service, being met with arrogance and contempt. I find this outrageous, considering the cost of their hair stylists/colourists.
Kris Genga, a hair stylist, who works at both Etobicoke and Yorkville locations is the only reason I have continued to go to this salon. She left a career to pursue her passion as a hair stylist. Her passion, dedication, enthusiasm, and approachable/amiable personality make every client feel special enough to come back and stay with her for the long run. I have extra copies of her business card and consistently recommend her, not the salon, to friends/colleagues.
I have had very bad experiences with colourists at both locations, and have actively recommended people NOT go to Taz Hair Salon to have their hair coloured and persuaded those who were thinking of going. I have had my hair coloured (blonde highlights) by three different stylists, varying from junior to senior staff members. I have not felt that they invested enough time in their consultation to fully understand what their clients were looking for. I even brought pictures of blonde highlights I had done in the past to show them what I wanted.
One hair stylist, Dawn Whytall, was the worst colourist I have ever encountered. I went to the Yorkville salon after recommendations from a friend and asked her to add soft blonde highlights to my naturally dirty blonde/light brown hair. What I ended up with was YELLOW hair. I was absolutely mortified. When I spoke to her about my dissatisfaction, she refused to acknowledge the mistake (highlights vs. dyed fully blonde). I had to go back three times to have the colour fixed. On the last visit, I outright told her and the senior arrogant hair stylist Norm that I did not ask to be fully blonde, I only wanted soft blonde highlights due to my pale complexion. Dawn and Norm actually had the nerve to recommend that I compensate by wearing more bronzer instead of fixing her mistake.
After being their for a third time to fix THEIR mistake, they added toned down highlights. Then, they added toner only to the bottom half of my hair. I actually pulled her out of her staff room, where she was negatively speaking about me to other staff members, to add toner to the top half of my hair. Initially she refused, and I forced her to add it in. I would have ended up with yellow blonde on the upper half of my head and soft blonde on the lower half. The mistake that was averted by adding toner was never acknowledged by either hair stylists. This seems to be a pattern considering other reviewers' experiences summarized below.
I was and continue to be outraged by the lack of customer service, arrogance and outright contempt of the staff members. I consider Kris Genga to literally be the saving grace of the salon and the only reason I would even consider putting up with the rude behaviour of other staff members during my visits.

Great product. Has a soothing lavendar scent that is not over-powering. Perfect during bath time. I even have friends who use this product themselves too!

I know the price is expensive, between $100-$150, but I have never had a pair of pants that have lasted to long and still maintained their shape, quality and original design!! Still wear them all the time! -
