I’ve never been a huge fan of stick foundations. I generally find them harder to blend and too thick of a consistency. However, this Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Makeup Stick might just be the exception to my dislike of stick foundations. This one is extremely creamy. It just melts onto your fingers and face and blends out effortlessly. It’s marketed as having a soft matte finish but I find it’s more of a satin finish. I still like to set it with a translucent powder to ensure that it’s long wearing and matte all day. This stick also has SPF21 in it, which is always a must for me!
The great things about stick foundations are that they’re super versatile. It’s not only a foundation. They can double as a concealer, contour shade, and a highlighter! I received mine #gotitfree in my contouring shade: 350 Bisque (C). It’s cool toned which I absolutely love for a contouring shade because it won’t go orangey on my face. I don’t go super heavy duty when I contour. I swipe the stick down the hollows of my cheeks, down the sides of my nose and sometimes around the edges of my forehead. I then ensure I blend it all in perfectly for a flawless, but contoured, finish!

Plus, because the conditioner isn’t heavy, my hair is not weighed down by it at all. It doesn’t lose any of it’s volume which is always a key thing for me when I’m looking for a conditioner. -

The shampoo cleanses my hair so nicely. I have a horrible habit of using extreme amounts of dry shampoo throughout the week. That’s the life of a university student. So when it finally comes time to wash my hair, I need a good shampoo to get out all that buildup of product! And the Dove Nutritive Solutions shampoo definitely does that! It makes my hair feel so clean and lightweight without overly drying it out. -

On days when I’m feeling lazy, I can just apply this gel in the shower in 20 seconds and then skip body lotion for the day. It’s a real time saver! I am the self-titled queen of lip balms. There is nothing I love more than trying out a new lip balm. And it’s even more exciting when they actually work for my permanently dry and cracking lips. As soon as I applied this Vichy Replumping Lip Balm on my lips, I instantly felt something different that I hadn’t noticed in other lip balms. It has a very smooth, silicone-like texture to it. Usually, I absolutely despise that silky silicone feel. I would hate to have it on my lips. But something about this lip balm’s texture just works. It instantly melts into my lips, smoothing over all those dry, flaky patches. Don’t my lips just sound beautiful? And, not only does this lip balm provide comfort all day long, it also helps to plump up and beautify the lips. My lips look full and plump once I apply this lip balm! -
