This is one of my favorite dry shampoos on the market! Not only is it extremely effective at getting rid of any excess oils, it provides an insane amount of volume to my hair. My roots are no longer flat after using this product! I even like to use it when my hair is freshly washed because I just love the amount of lift and volume it provides! The only thing that is stopping me from giving this dry shampoo 5 stars out of 5, is the powder formula does leave a little bit of white residue so it can be hard for it to absorb easily! -

I have heard such great things about these eyeshadows from Colour Pop but I was never quite convinced. How good could an eyeshadow really be after all? Aren’t they all the same?
NO. The answer is definitely no. These eyeshadows from Colour Pop are like no other shadows. Everything about them is perfect. Let’s talk about the formula first. These are creme-like powders that have an elastic-like texture. This means there isn’t any fallout and they apply beautifully. Plus, they last super long and don’t even crease throughout the day. Next, let’s talk about the pigmentation. Oh my goodness, are these ever pigmented. Take a look at those swatches, are those not the most beautiful colors you’ve ever seen? From left to right is ‘I Heart This’ which is a gorgeous light taupe. It is perfect for all over the lid. Next is ‘Desert’ which is a warm medium brown. ‘On The Rocks’ is a deep bronze with purple and gold glitter. I love this one for deepening up the crease. Next is ‘Amaze’, which is the perfect rose gold. I think golds with pink undertones are the most flattering colors! To the right of that one is ‘Meow’, which is such a cool color! It is a tie-dye shadow with pink, purple, and gunmetal colors that all combine to produce one gorgeous shade! Lastly, ‘Envy’ is a deep black with tons of purple glitter! It is the perfect color to line my eyes with!
Colour Pop has so many beautiful shades of eyeshadows and I think I need every single one. I’m not even exaggerating. And did I mention the price? Each eyeshadow is only $5. For quality like this, that’s practically, no definitely, a steal.

It seems like every brand lately is stepping up their game in terms of lip products, which is totally fine by me. Most recently Smashbox launched their newest lip gloss, the Be Legendary Lip Lacquer.
These lip lacquers seem to be the most popular type of lip products lately. They are a non-sticky, highly pigmented, long-wearing gloss. They’re similar to the Dior fluid stick, which I’m absolutely crazy about, except they are almost a stain. They don’t quite stain your lips, but they definitely last as long as one. The shine wears away after an hour or so but the color remains on your lips for a lot longer. Usually when a company launches a new product, they won’t release a large amount of shades right away. Smashbox went against the status quo and came out with a whole bunch of colours right away. There are so many gorgeous shades! Most of the colours are glossy, with no shimmer, but a few of the colours do have some glitter in them. There is a perfect mix of shades, some bold purples, neutral nudes, and my favourites, bright pinks. I received mine in the color Coral and it’s so pretty! It’s not your traditional orangy-pink. It’s a bit of a darker coral so it’s the perfect shade for the transition between summer and fall and i think it’s so flattering on a range of skin tones. Smashbox was very focused on ensuring that there was a wide variety of shades for every skin tones. They have special shades for both warm and cool tones so you can ensure that the one you pick out will compliment your skin, they make it so easy!
It might seem that I’m a bit overexcited about the Smashbox Lip Lacquers but they really are amazing! For someone who didn’t used to like lip gloss, I haven’t been leaving the house without one lately!

Every time Benefit releases a new product, I get so excited. They’ve always been one of my favorite cosmetics brands. I find everything so innovative and cool and I truly love the majority of their products. I’m a big fan.
Most recently, they launched the Majorette Blush. Benefit usually just sticks to their boxed powders ands stains for cheek products so I was surprised that they launch a blush that didn’t fit into these categories. It is a peachy coral cream to powder blush. Usually I don’t like cream blushes because I find that they don’t blend well onto my skin on top of my foundation. However, because this one is a cream to powder formula, i found it very easy to apply and rub into my skin. It didn’t have a sticky feel to it, it felt like a very smooth, matte cream. Another thing that’s especially cool about this blush is that it is designed to be worn alone or under another blush for an added pop of color. The way I see it is that it act like a primer to intensify a blush, just like an eyeshadow primer helps make an eyeshadow appear more opaque and vibrant.

I have an obsession with lip products. It’s a problem. A really big problem. How many pink lipsticks do I need? A lot apparently.
I have this thing with finding the next best lipstick. Every time a company launches a new lip product, I think it’s the best thing ever and I buy it… and then I promptly forget about it a month later. But that’s okay. Because now I have 800 lipsticks that I never touch. NO THAT’S NOT OKAY.
With that being said, I really do love this lipstick from Pur Minerals. It really is amazing and I hope I actually wear this one. These are the new Chateau de Vine Mineral Lipsticks. There’s a couple of reasons why I love these lipsticks so darn much. Number one: They contain anti-aging ingredients. Yes, I may be nineteen but it’s never too late to start being preventive. Number two: They’re incredibly moisturizing. You know how I raved about the Estee Lauder lipsticks being hydrating? These are like those ones except 10x better. They’re a bit more sheer too but they still give you quite a bit of color, just with more of a glossy finish. And number three: The shade range is perfect. There are so many pretty colors, anywhere from my favorite bright pinks (mine is in the shade Fashionista) to nudes to corals to berries. I want them all. So yeah, I like these lipsticks. A lot.
