I was pleasantly surprised by this mascara! I'm always stoked to receive free products in exchange for reviews, especially mascaras. I'm a mascara HOUND.
This past weekend, my family and I attended an anime convention. Of course my kiddo and I *had* to get the best cosplays together. Part of that is making sure I have long lasting mascara, that plumps the heck out of my lashes. The formula wasn't too runny or too thick, and I really liked the applicator. It was on the larger side, but that was a good thing! I was able to evenly coat my lashes without any gnarly clumps. I would also like to add that this mascara stood up to some seriously grody conditions. 3.5 hours on the pavement in 35 degree weather in the direct sun while wearing a hot as hell costume, waiting to get in to the convention had me SWEATING. My mascara did not budge. I would definitely buy this again!

My daughter and I were so happy to be chosen for this super-fun looking campaign. We opened up the box right away to check out the goods. We were a little nervous about all the different parts, but we were determined to do it right. We *tried* to follow the instructions carefully. I found them to be a little ambiguous in some spots, and I had to re-read them three or four times. I would also like to point out that I am an Ikea queen. I LOVE BUILDING THINGS. I'm good at following instructions and building things. Well holy macaroni, my skills couldn't save me. What a disaster. My daughter and I laughed and laughed as we tried to get this contraption to work and to get everything to untangle. I think that the idea is very cool, but maybe the device itself is just a little too complicated? The charms for the bracelets were cute, the colours of the thread were great, and the quality of the device itself felt good and sturdy. Appreciate the free bracelet maker, and the opportunity for my daughter and I to sit down together and have a seriously fun time. I won't be buying one as gifts in the future, unfortunately. -

Boy was I happy to come home to a complimentary packet of the Kitset CBD Infused Powdered Drink Mix after the day I had yesterday. My neck was killing me from my computer set-up at work, stressed out, and exhausted as heck. I poured the powder into my favourite glass and dumped an ice-cold 500ml bottle of water into the glass, and mixed it up. My advice is to stir, stir, stir! I found that I didn't stir enough, and there was some tasty, sugary goop on the bottom. I LOVED the flavour. Mango and orange go together so well! I can definitely say I felt a lot more relaxed and my neck seemed to have settled down about a half hour after having this drink. I didn't see the price on it, but if this is decently priced out in the retail wilds, I'm more than happy to pick up a few packs. Good stuff! -

I was lucky enough to receive a complimentary sample of the COVERGIRL Clean Fresh Skincare Weightless Water Cream to review, and I was impressed. I'm a big fan of water creams, especially when the weather starts to get warmer and I don't want a super heavy moisturizer. I also really like built in primers because they make my face feel so smooth. The product itself smelled nice, and I'm pretty sensitive about smells. I'm not sure what the price point is, but I imagine it's pretty decent. I'll be giving this a shot in the near future once my current water cream runs out. Wish the sample was a little bit bigger, because I liked it so much! -

I did not love this. I am glad it was free to review, because I'd be very disappointed spending my own money. It had a very chemical-y flavour and was incredibly salty. Do not waste your money on this. It may be convenient, but it tastes gnarly. Hard pass.

I was lucky enough to receive this game for free to review from FamilyRated, and am very glad we were chosen. My daughter and I had a BLAST playing this. We both really enjoy puzzle games, so this was right up our alley. We're both a little bit competitive, so this game was fantastic for that as well. Not like flip the table if we're losing competitive, but enough to make it a fun challenge. The game came in pieces to be assembled, which was simple enough. The instructions were bright and easy to understand.
The rules were also very easy to understand, and we were on our way playing minutes after opening the box. We also enjoyed the other ways to play head-to-head, like seeing who the first one was to make a particular pattern. We played several rounds after dinner, and did not want to stop. I will definitely be bringing this out for many game nights to come!

We were lucky enough to receive our game for free to review for Family Rated. Wow, I was not expecting this game to be so much fun! I don't think I've laughed so hard in so long! The quality of the board itself is fantastic, all the die and playing pieces are of good quality, the cards are all printed nicely. The only issue I had was the green bubble that you use to read the cards. It was still very difficult to read when the cards were inserted. Wondering if maybe they can improve upon that in the future ?
The little activities you had to do were hilarious. My daughter and I were almost in tears laughing trying to pull off one of the "pretend you're tied up, and have to get up all by yourself not using your hands and keeping your ankles crossed" activity cards. It's also quite educational and gets you thinking. Some cards ask you to name a bunch of animals in certain habitats, or fruits, or other things related to the jungle. It was very fun! We played 3 or 4 rounds together the night we opened it up. Definitely recommend this one! Had SO much fun!

Well this was a pleasant surprise! I was chosen to review this complimentary mop and bucket system, and boy am I impressed! It's super lightweight, but really gets at that gnarly grime that sometimes builds up. I moved into a new apartment with gross floors, and this baby got all that nasty grime built up around the baseboards/against the walls. Love how the clean and dirty water is kept separately, and is very easy to fill/dump. I appreciate the little details like that spot that you click the mope handle into so that the mop doesn't fall over and traumatize your cat! I'm so happy with this! -

So, I know this is a specific kind of milk that helps lower the instances of stomach upset. I am not sure if I've seen much of a difference in the way of lessening digestive discomfort, or if it's just that iced coffee ruins my insides no matter what milk I put in it. It's normally very pricey, but if it works for you I would definitely recommend it. It tasted delicious, but it didn't really stand out to me as anything different. I guess if you've got a big grocery budget, go for it?

I was lucky enough to be chosen to review these Keurig pods, for free! I am a big fan of McDonald's coffee, but I do not love waiting in the drive-thru for it. Especially now that we can't really go into the restaurant itself. It's so nice to be able to make a cup at home and chillax. Tastes exactly the same as a McCafe coffee straight from the source. I'll keep buying these for sure. Might even make iced coffee for the hot ones! -
