First of all, it should be noted that on the particular day that these pics were taken, the weather was gorgeous. Mr.Sun was out and there was a light breeze. Fast forward to a day or two later and Mr. Sun seemed to be on vacation elsewhere. It wasn't even warm enough to go bare legged! It was a wise decision that Miranda and I took advantage of the fabulous weather by breaking out our summer wear!

They say great minds think alike and this was definitely true this week when both Miranda and I showed up in some cute summer skirts. We thought we both looked pretty adorable so we posed off and snapped some photos to show you what we wore.

Miranda channels the nautical trend in a striped tee paired with a bright and sunny A line skirt. I love the easy breezy feel of this outfit and how put together but comfortable Miranda looks. She pulls off this mustard yellow colour beautifully too!

This top I am wearing is currently my favourite piece in my wardrobe. I bought this skirt years a go when I was in high school and now that lace is so trendy, I decided to bring it back out of my closet. I finished this outfit by accessorizing with a belt to cinch to my waist.
