- Easy! Just click on the icon called “Add a Review” on the homepage or the smaller icon under “My ChickAdvisor” and you will be asked a few questions about what you are reviewing and you can add a photo, a website link and some related tags.
- I registered but never received my confirmation emai
- Check your spam folder, it may have gone in there. Also add chickadvisor.com to your safe list so it isn’t treated as spam.
- What should I put as the name of my review?
- It's important that you put the most accurate information possible so that other users can easily search for it and add their own reviews. Please make sure you enter the brand and product's correct name in your review. If you're not sure what that is, Google it and you'll find it easily. It also helps avoid duplicate entries because we can match entries with the same information.
- Why do I need to register in order to add something?
- We want to maintain the integrity of the reviews and avoid spammage.
- My city isn’t on the list
- Email us and we’ll happily add it for you. When we have enough reviews for your city, we’ll launch it.
- How many reviews do you need in order to launch that city?
- We need a minimum of 10 reviews per category (Beauty, Shopping, Health, Fitness) to launch a new city.
- How do I create my own Hotlists?
- Under your profile, you can create as many Hotlists as you want. Click on the tab that says my Hotlists and you’ll be asked to give it a title and add your comments. Make as many as you want. Then when you see something you like on ChickAdvisor, click on the “Love It” icon and you will be given a choice of which Hotlist you’d like to add it to.
- How do I add my Hotlist to my blog?
- Under your profile, there is a tab called “My Widgets” where you can get code snippets for all of your Hotlists, which can be inserted into your blog, website or MySpace.
- How do I blog about just one item?
- Under your profile, click on “My Reviews”, and select “Blog This” for the item you’d like to blog about. You’ll then get a code snippet just like for your Hotlists.
- How do I get my blog on the homepage?
- Under your profile, click on "My Reviews", and select "Blog This" for the item you'd like to blog about. You'll then get a code snippet that can be inserted into your blog, website or MySpace.
