One Trend, 2 Ways Pose Off (part 2): Printed Pants

Posted by Alexandra | Monday August 13, 201275 comments

Last week, Mandy and I played twins and sqaured off, both posing in white lace. However, we each put our own spin on it. While Mandy rocked some white lace shorts, I wore my lace trumpet skirt. This week, we're going to be doing the same thing, only our trend of the moment is... printed pants!

Now, I love me a good pair of printed pants (a la PJ style, see evidence here). However, Mandy prefers her printed pants to be in shorts form. So, not only will you get to see how we each make a trend work for our own individual bodies, but you'll also see how we interpret a trend to suit our individual styles.

Mandy

Mandy is wearing her printed Zara shorts, paired with a semi sheer black tee. She's keeping it cool, comfy and chic for a day on the Toronto streets or a lunch date with friends.

I am wearing my printed silk pants from Joe Fresh. Yes, I realise they look exactly like PJs and yes, I love them. They feel amazing on and I adore the print. Because they're quite colourful, I went with a basic, solid black tee on top.

So chicks, let us know if you would ever wear printed bottoms? What do you make of this trend? Leave us a comment below by the 19th and you could win!

I like prints, just wasn't crazy about either of those. Sorry ladies, you still look beautiful.

I would be happy wearing either outfit honestly, but I really adore Alexandra's printed pants. I would have no reservations wearing them out ;)

I like the printed pants, I am not a fan of shorts. Both looks are cool and comfy, and yes I would wear prints. Of course it would depend on the style and the print , but I am pretty open minded. I have a rule I follow, I always try the item on, and I never judge the product off the rack. So many items in my wardrobe are things I never would have purchased unless I tried it on. Many times things look unappealing on the rack and you never think it would look good. Then you go to the dressing room, and you end up wowed at how awesome it looks and fits.

P.S I really love those orange colored shoes....
