Hello Readers and friends! My name is Miranda and I'm so thrilled to be part of the ChickAdvisor team as the Graphic Designer. This fall, I will be advancing into my final year of the BAA Technical/Scientific Illustration program at Sheridan College. In summary, here are five things about me that will hopefully inspire some interest.
 

I love all aspects of the art world, but I truly have a passion for the classical arts. I enjoy sketching, painting (watercolor, acrylic and mixed media) and crafting with recycled materials. I'm an avid collector of accessories and one-of-a-kind pieces. When it comes to shopping, I'm the biggest bargain hunter. I've added a few of my favourite pieces.


On a gloomy day or when I don't feel like going out, I watch a ton of films.  Though my list can go on, my favourites are animated, sci-fi and fantasy films.


Finally, the last detail of my life: I live in Hamilton, Ontario (I like to call it mini-Toronto). It's a pretty small, tightly-knit city so you can imagine my need for adventure. When I get the opportunity, I like to travel. I enjoy learning about new cultures, trying new food and experiencing the different lifestyles of the places I visit. Some places I've been to include: Quebec, New York, Los Angeles, Florida, Arizona, France and of course home, Thailand and Laos. Just recently I came back from Las Vegas. Woohoo!
