Yay or Nay: Anna Kendrick at SXSW in Tweed Short Suit

If you haven't yet had the privilege of seeing Anna Kendrick in action in Up in the Air, 50/50 or Pitch Perfect, here's the deal: she's crazy cute, super talented and hilarious to top it off. Follow her on Twitter, you won't be disappointed (and then while you're at it, follow us too!). Because I adore me some Anna, I'm tempted to give her a pass, but there's just something about this tweed suit that's bugging me. I think I know what it is too: the shorts.

First, the jacket: chic, cheerful and modern. The tweed and kelly green leather combo is adorbs. But moving on down, I cannot find appreciation for these shorts. It just doesn't mesh well! I get the whole mixing it up, business on top, party on the bottom but somehow this just looks disjointed. Granted, this isn't a red carpet but still, I think I'd like to see a sleek, tailored and cropped lady trouser instead.

Also, what are you wearing underneath there Ms. Kendrick? I sense that maybe there's only a bra? This looks good but maybe a crisp white button down would do nicely too? Accessories here aren't my fave but no real complaint other than they're a bit boring.
