I have shopped here for years, a trip to the mall is not complete unless I stop in and just browse, but usually buy something.
Besides their high quality products, which I will touch on below; I love and applaud their commitment against testing on animals and how they haven't given up on petitioning the Canadian Government to pass legislation that would ban animal tested cosmetics forever.
I find all of their products pleasantly scented and luxury in quality. Their scents are consistent throughout the many products and do not differ from their lotions to bars of soap to perfume. They use a lot of natural items in most of their products which is wonderful. Their lotions are thick and buttery, super hydrating and full of amazing fragrances.
I have always found staff helpful and knowledgeable, they always approach you after you have browsed for a bit and ask if you need assistance or inform you of the sales that day. They are all generally polite and engaging in conversations about the store or any topic in general, plus they seem happy and seem to enjoy their jobs.
My life would be incomplete with out The Body Shop's Satsuma scent, which is similar to sweet mandarins with citrus and flowers.

Both restaurants in the Durham Region are delicious and have fantastic friendly Staff. We stopped in for dinner at the Taunton location this evening. We both ordered a chicken sandwich and sides, staff advised us the chicken would take an extra 5 minutes, apologized and asked if we wanted our sides 1st, and brought the fries and potato to our table along with some packaged sauces and napkins in case we forgot to grab some.
I have always loved Arbys because their food is always hot, fresh and never appears that it was thrown together in haste. They have a large menu, specializing in roast beef. My favorite item is their Gyro's which I think is seasonal, and I was so disappointed when it was replaced with another new seasonal product last August. I also am in love with the curly fries, always crispy and seasoned perfectly.
I ordered a chicken, bacon and swiss sandwich tonight and tried to take a picture to capture the deliciousness of it, but failed - pardon the bite,

This lash primer is part of my daily make-up routine and I think Loreal makes a higher quality compared product to another brand I tried. I ran into WalMart this afternoon to pick up some groceries and found myself in the cosmetic isle, saw this familiar package and bought another tube in fear of running out. I will add that the tube lasts awhile, the one I have now has been used for about 2-3 months and is almost empty.
The white liquid is not runny, has more of a medium consistency, but not thick. It applies white and I find it's best to let it dry before applying your mascara or you could end up with the primer on your wand or end up with some unwanted globs as the primer is a bit tacky when wet. Since I am blessed already with long lashes, this primer adds even more length, gives them some more volume and does not smudge. I do use a high quality mascara and the combination together is amazing, between the two, my lashes are amplified x 10. Lastly it removes with ease, I use an eye makeup remover and it comes off with no problems.
This base primer does not disappoint, I suggest everyone give it a try, I'm pretty sure it will become part of your routine like mine.

I bought the Caribbean Lagoon & Hibiscus flower scent. When I scratched the tiny sticker on the package, the smell sparked my senses and got me right away, I really loved the tropical scent.
When I attached it to the vent in my car though, the smell is hardly noticeable. Yes, I pulled the silver tag to release/open the fragrance and have played around with the plastic setting, rotating it from low to high and still am disappointed. I even switched from hot air to cool with the same un-noticiable results.
I am a scent fanatic though, perhaps I am expecting too much and need full blown over the top smell to please me and that might be why I am not a fan.

I bought a bunch of random Life Brand masks from Shoppers Drug Mart a few weeks ago, they were on sale 3 for $5.00.
I bought two of these hand masks for both myself, and my boyfriend to try out, but bought it specifically for him, as he has super dry hands. I found the gloves are of poor quality, one of mine ripped up the seam of my hand and he ripped both of his as his hands were just too big - there was no give to the plastic so we couldn't stretch them out. I found them super snug on my hands and I believe mine to be of average size.
Once removed, we rubbed the pink gel type lotion into our hands which absorbed really well and felt a bit silky for a few minutes. I would say that they do work as far as hydrating the skin on your hands but the hydration wasn't long lasting. I also expected it to see immediate results such as softness and smoothness, which neither of us received.
I don't recommend them, I could have done the exact same thing with a pair of surgical gloves or plastic ones from the dollar store and added my own hand lotion and most likely would have better results.

I am familiar with some of Two Faced products (which I love) and was thrilled when I received this mascara in February's BoxyCharm subscription box. I've wanted to try it out and actually have it on my 'to buy' list on my next trip to Sephora.
To sum it up - yes, for me, it lives up to all the hype and raving reviews. But I must touch on the sex comparison, It's a super cute name for a product but no, it's not better than sex, nothing compares to it in my opinion. lol
I love this formula as it's not clumpy, it has a medium thickness to it, applies really well and it does not flake off while worn. I have long lashes to begin with and this stuff adds mega volume, thickness and even more length, it makes my eyes pop out. Right now, this is my all time favorite mascara and I recommend it to all, I have already filled in my gal pals and they know I am lovin on this mascara!

Metro makes amazing pre-made wraps and subs. They are super popular at my local store, if I were to go in now (2pm) they would be gone. They are made daily by the deli counter staff and come in different varieties, some with meat or fish, some just veggie and there is always something there that appeals to me, This morning I grabbed the Almond Turkey and it was delicious, full of flavorful sauce and this wrap came with a decent amount of turkey and cheese. Oh and it had small crushed up almonds throughout. It's a meal on it's own, I am full after eating it, You can always make it a combo though by adding a drink or a small bowl of their home made soup.
These are a great healthy fast lunch option, I buy them all the time. Oh and it keeps well to eat the next day, it does not go soggy or dried out.

I love Lulu's tights and yoga pants. The yoga pants are so soft and the fabric is high quality. Yes they are on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for. I have had the same 2 pairs of pants for about 2 years now and they still look new, they are not faded or stretched out, and the fabric is not fraying.
For me I find these pants incredibly comfortable and flattering to my body and butt, and I like these ones with the high rise at the stomach area, it sort of hides it and pushes it in. Lulu is my number one store for active wear!

My hubby works in construction and his feet in the summer months sweat like crazy and the smell is indescribably awful, reminds me of what I think a dead rotting animal would smell like in the heat.
Anyway he uses this every single day just after his shower and says his feet stay dry for the day. I can tell this works because we no longer keep his boots outside on our balcony. He also sprinkles some inside his boots and it helps with any lingering odor. The powder itself has a mild clean type scent, it's faint so you can hardly smell it.
For me, my feet don't smell (at least not to me) but they do sweat sometimes in one pair of boots I own. I sprinkle just a bit between my toes and on the bottom of my feet before I put socks on and when my feet start to sweat, the powder absorbs it really well, I don't feel any wetness. This stuff is great, I highly recommend it!

If I were rich, I would spend a fortune in this store, but their prices are high and every now and then I will treat myself. Like yesterday for example, I went into just 'browse' and came out with a black pair of long legged tights and a nice striped mauve and grey colored sweat shirt.
I believe you get what you pay for and their tights are a great example. I have had the same 2 pairs of tights for a couple of years now and they are not faded, haven't lost their shape and look like they are new. I can't say that about other brands I have bought. Same goes with the sweatshirt I bought yesterday, I know it's going to last me for a few years so I look at it as kind of an investment in quality clothing.
The staff are always pleasant and make a point of approaching you and asking if you need assistance. Yesterday I considered buying another top but they didn't have my size left and they offered to order one in online for me, no charge for shipping, but I did have some willpower left in me and declined.
One of my best girl friends ordered a pair of grey capri's online that started to chafe in the inner thigh after a couple of months (which is odd for their clothing), she no longer had her receipt but brought the pair back to the store anyway. They were fantastic to her, they replaced them obviously, apologized a few times and gave her $135.00 store credit and sent her an email 3 days later giving her an online discount on her next order of 40% off any items (inducing sale items),free shipping, and it just had to be used within the year. Whoa, Lululemon went above and beyond, we were all shocked at the extra credit and discount she received, we knew they backed their clothing 100% but never imagined she would get all the extras. I don't know of any other store out there that would give that amount of extra customer service.
