I was excited to try Myoflex 20% Maximum Strength, hoping it might be a new go-to for my "40-year-old problems"—mainly bad knees and stubborn plantar fasciitis.
The texture is great; it’s a thick cream that needs some rubbing in, but it’s truly non-greasy and has zero medicinal smell. I could put my socks on right away without a mess, which is a huge plus for a busy day.
As far as results go, it definitely works, but I’d categorize it as a "spot treatment." It was perfect for a random pulled muscle in my back, providing solid, targeted relief. However, for my long-term chronic inflammation, I still find that topical emulgels with anti-inflammatories do a better job.
It’s a reliable, "invisible" option to keep in the medicine cabinet for those sudden strains and other random injuries that come with middle age.

I’m a 40-year-old woman dealing with early onset perimenopause, so I was very excited to try NOW Ultra Omega-3 to help with the brain fog and general cognitive function that comes with this stage. At first glance, the EPA/DHA levels looked good and I like that the bottle is made from recycled plastic.
A big plus for me is that I haven't noticed any fishy aftertaste or "burps," which has made trying Omega-3s really off-putting. The enteric coating seems to do its job making them easy on the stomach.
I gave the product 4 stars because I’ve only been taking these for a short time, and I know supplements like this usually take about 2 to 3 months of consistent use to really show results for brain health. I can't say I've felt a massive shift yet, but they are easy to take and don't cause any discomfort, so I’m planning to stick with them to see how they perform.

I started taking AOR Wildcrafted Boswellia about two weeks ago, so I can’t comment on effectiveness yet, but I am hopeful!
This supplement is a traditional Ayurvedic medicine designed specifically to help with joint pain and swelling associated with osteoarthritis of the knee, and it feels good knowing it’s a sustainably sourced, standardized extract. Plus, I love supporting a brand that is Proudly Canadian and focuses on high-quality manufacturing standards.
It’s been a seamless addition to my routine. I’m looking forward to seeing how much better things feel at the two-month mark!

I was excited to try PanOxyl Acne Wash to help with my keratosis pilaris and those annoying breakouts from clogged hair follicles. The creamy texture feels gentle but it really helps keep my skin clearer and smoother. I like that I can use it on both my face and body without irritation! It does have a bit of a chemical smell but it’s not overwhelming.

I was so excited to try this as we just finished a bottle of alcohol-based mouthwash that definitely burned a bit when I used it. This was such a treat in comparison! It’s clear, so you know there are no dyes. The flavour reminds me of candy canes, so it’s sweet and minty with no burning sensation. My daughter asked me that morning why my breath smelled like mint, so it clearly worked well too! The only thing “con” is the whitening claim - you have to use it 2x a day for at least 2min each time, no eating for 30 min after, etc. I didn’t notice any whitening after use so I’m sure if it does work it’d be after long term use.
All in all I like the mouthwash but wouldn’t buy it for the whitening properties.

I have fair skin and both my daughters are paler than I am (one has sensitive skin too), so sun protection is non-negotiable, especially with how much time we spend in the pool. I’ve heard so many good things and was very excited to try Blue Lizard Mineral Sunscreen Sensitive SPF 50 - what a game changer! It goes on thick but smooth, and with a little care during application, it doesn’t leave a white cast. I love that it’s a mineral sunscreen, so it starts working right away and doesn’t irritate their skin. Plus, it holds up really well with water play. Peace of mind in a bottle!

Wow, just wow. I have never been so disappointed with a toy that I’ve received to test. I understand that in order to fly, the toy must be pretty light, but it ends up feeling cheap. The wings are not removable, so you can’t play with it as a figurine. It’s a little slow to start up, but then it gets LOUD. Like, so loud my kids got scared rather than excited. Also, “controlled by your hand” is a wild exaggeration. If I can manage to get my hand under it, yes, I can stop it from lowering. But I can’t change its direction or control it in any way. It flies haphazardly and bangs into walls and ceilings. The only fun part about “playing” with this toy was making fun of how awful it is. I honestly don’t understand how it ever made it past the prototype phase. Save your money! -

I’m a huge fan of Vitamin D drops, and my kids happily take them straight on their tongues (it’s been a game since they were infants!). PediaVit is different in that it uses olive oil as a carrier. My toddler happily takes her dose every day. My kindergartener tried it once and didn’t like the flavour, so she won’t take it any more. I tried it and the flavour is distinct - I can’t say I’d choose the taste but it wasn’t “bad”. I wouldn’t recommend it for kids that are already picky eaters. -

I thankfully don’t have much body acne at the moment so it was hard to test the effectiveness of this product. It didn’t sting on application and didn’t make my acne worse, so I think for someone with regular and/or noticeable breakouts it’d be worth a shot.
The biggest “con” I noticed was that the mist is fine and if I didn’t hold my breath long enough, I’d end up tasting/inhaling it. It does come with warnings about that but I still learned the hard way.

I think this is the perfect kit for beginner DIYers, or those who don’t do much DIY and therefore don’t have materials on hand. This little kit has everything you need to repair a few small holes in drywall. Bonus for impatient patchers like me - it goes on pink and dries white, so there’s no risk of sanding too early! It is easy to apply and goes on smooth, so it’s almost foolproof. I think the only thing I don’t love is the patch - it is quite thick, and while it’s great for filling larger holes, a novice DIYer might try to use the patch on top of a small hole, leading to a bump instead of smooth drywall. Clearer instructions or examples of when the patch should be used would be helpful!
