While I love Neutrogena products, I was a bit doubtful that the Hydro boost gel face cream would help my dry skin. I was wrong. I work outdoors and my skin tends to dry quickly because of the elements. The gel face cream was hydrating and my face felt super nice right after I used it and I think after a week of use my face was more hydrated. The product feels thinner than other face creams, but it does a lovely job. I also like that it has no scent. I will be looking for the hydro boost in stores from now on. I received this product to test for free. -

My boys recently started playing pickle ball at our local arena and are hooked! They were over the moon when the Swimways Hydro Paddle and Pickleball set came in the mall. While we haven't tried their 'hydro' capacity, the boys said they worked well at their last pickleball session. Both said the paddle grip felt comfortable and they liked the weight of the paddle. Their only suggestion was to have the paddle design in blue or green rather than red with flowers. That said, I liked the design! I'm looking forward to seeing how well they work this summer at the beach. They are worth grabbing a set for the family.

Recently our family had the opportunity to try Zarbee's Immunity Syrup for children. I wanted to like it, it has elderberries, vitamin D, and zinc in it, and is sweetened with honey, what's not to love? However, everyone in our family thought it was way too sweet. They did think the thickness of the syrup was nice though. While the packaging was cute with the little beehive ontop of the bottle, it just added extra plastic going into the landfill, their is an actual screen top under the beehive. An added disappointment was that the beehive topper had very faint marks to help measure out 2 teaspoons...but the dose for children on the package is 1 teaspoon, so it can't even be used for that. Ultimately, the product is not a favourite. -

This is an amazing product, I'm so happy I was sent the Aveeno Stress Body Scrub to test. The product kept my skin feeling soft and helped to get rid of dry patches. The scrub is gentle on the skin, yet effective. The lavender scent makes the whole experience using the scrub more enjoyable and relaxing. I will buy this again. -

Children's Tylenol Liquid suspension is a great product, when you need to use it. No one wants their child to feel sick, so it means a lot when you can use something like Tylenol to help them feel better fairly quickly. I love that the medication comes with a dosage cup, so that I know I'm giving my kids the correct amount, it also makes it easier for them to take the medication. I also like that the back panel, clearly tells you the amount of acetaminophen in 5ml, when you should use, and possible side effects to watch for. Many medications have this information in tiny writing or on an easily-ignored insert. As far as taste goes, my kids like the grape flavoured medication, which makes it less of a battle to get them to take the medication. Although, a part of me wishes it didn't taste as 'good', so that I knew that my kids would have limited interest in the product when they are not feeling sick. The liquid tylenol works quickly, so my kids go back to their typical selves quickly, which also makes me feel better. -

We received Luna Lovegood's wand to try, and while my kids were really hoping for Harry's wand they were happy with Luna's too! The packages come unmarked, so you don't actually know which wand is in your box until you open it. While that increases the excitement of the mystery it can also cause disappointment with young kids, as there are 9 different wands to collect. It also makes it very difficult to collect all 9 wands, if you really wanted to collect them.
The wand and the majority of the wand stand are made out of plastic, however the wand itself has a bit of heft which is nice when your casting spells, it adds to the correct 'flick'! While each of the 9 wands have a slightly different shape, they are all made out of brown plastic and appear fairly nondescript. The item that is truly unique with each wand is the little diecast magical creature that you set on the wand stand for decoration, and weight. To me, and to my children the diecast creature was a bit more special then the wand itself. That said the kids had lots of fun casting spells with the wand too.
One thing I found odd with the packaging was the targeted age group. The box says 14+ and this toy is much too young for a 14 year old. My seven year old loved it, and I think that is a better age for this toy. An older child might want to collect the wands, but since you can't select for a wand you might be missing in your collection, it is unlikely they will purchased as a true collectable.
All in all, a fun, magical toy for a child under 10. Thank you Spin Master for letting us test this for free. #gotItFree

Chapman's new Super Premium Chocolate ice cream is a rich, creamy treat. It has a lovely, decadent flavour and I love the Chapman's brand in general. The ice cream is peanut-free, it is made with real cream, so it is actually ice cream and not an 'iced treat'. The packaging is even sustainable, which is amazing. All in all, it is a nice treat, as the 500 ml container size isn't really ideal for a family. -

Aveeno Kid's Sensitive body wash was perfect for my kids. I try to buy products that are safe for their skin, especially since my daughter gets eczema. The body wash worked really well, it cleaned and none of my kids reacted to it. There is a super light scent to it, which is pleasing. The only thing I needed to get used to, was that it doesn't sud up much. It still cleans well, there just aren't too many bubbles! This is a product I will get again. #GotItFree -
