As a makeup fanatic I have used quite a few makeup removers throughout the years and unfortunately this is one of the least impressive ones I've tried. In a nutshell, its just okay. I don't find anything exceptional about this product. It removed some of my makeup, but mostly just the products that wear off easily. If I'm wearing a primer, forget it. I would certainly not classify this product as a waterproof makeup remover, as it did absolutely nothing for removing my waterproof mascara. I actually had to use a different product to get the mascara off. Another issue with this product is the fact that it is marketed and labeled specifically as an eye makeup remover, and yet it stings my eyes and blurs my vision if even the smallest amount of product gets into my eyes. Some of the pros of this product is that it didn't cause me any breakouts even though I have sensitive skin. It also didn't have an overwhelming fragrance which I did appreciate. In conclusion, I would say that you can get away with using this product if you're removing a small or light amount of makeup. If you're a full glam kind of person, I would pass on this one. -

I love the color of this nail polish, but I do have an issue with the fact that it is not opaque and takes at least 3 coats to really show its true color. I was lucky enough to find this at a dollar store and got it for $1 but perhaps it had expired and that is why it wasn't opaque, although I have heard others take issue with the formula of Essie nail polishes more than once before. That being said, it does have pretty good staying power assuming you use a good base and top coat. -

These cleansing wipes are one of my definite go to facial wipes. I love the light and fresh scent that these have, not too floral or strong. They always tend to be pretty moist as well, dry cleansing wipes fresh out of the pack is a big pet peeve of mine. They do work very well as makeup removal wipes, but I usually need two if I'm wearing a lot of makeup, especially waterproof products. I believe one side of the wipe is slightly textured which helps with makeup removal and very light exfoliation. What I love the most about these wipes is how they leave your skin feeling after using one. It is a truly refreshing experience, and my skin feels clean and hydrated. I've used wipes in the past that leave my skin feeling tight and dehydrated after it dried, I assume they had a lot of alcohol in them and I've also used wipes that leave my skin feeling a little greasy from the oils in them. These wipes are in between those. I find the wipes with oils remove makeup easier but then make my face greasy. These Nivea wipes can remove makeup relatively easy, you may need two, but they leave your face clean, hydrated and not at all greasy. My Mom loves to snag a few of these when I visit her and always comments on how refreshing they are. I would definitely recommend these Nivea 3 in 1 wipes! -

I received the Maybelline New York Dream Blender sponge to try and review along with the Maybelline New York Dream Velvet Foundation. This sponge blender did not work well for me. I did apply it by swiping or buffing the foundation in as is directed but I found it made my foundation look patchy and streaky. I tried it damp as well as dry and didn't notice a difference. There is no point to try and pounce or push the foundation into the skin with this sponge as it will just pick up and remove product instead of blend it in. I didn't enjoy this blending sponge for its intended use, but I do find it useful for applying loose powder under the eyes to bake my concealer. It might also be useful for applying cream contour, due to its smaller size, though I have yet to test that. Overall I think most of us are hooked on either the BeautyBlender or the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge, and this one just doesn't do what those can do in terms of making your foundation and overall look flawless. -

Matte foundations are beautiful, but I have problems with them clinging to dry patches and problem areas. This was my first time trying a hydrating matte foundation, so I hoped that the hydrating aspect would eliminate this clinging problem. I was disappointed when it did accentuate those problem areas, but even more so that it didn't come off as a matte finish foundation for me. I find it somewhat dewy, which is odd because matte is in the name of this product. Besides the problems I mentioned above, I do like this foundation, I just don't love it. It's an average foundation in my opinion. I will probably stick with a foundation that I know works for me, one with a more liquid formula which is easier to blend.

Before trying this product I was honestly expecting one of two things: either it will do nothing for heavy makeup removal and is essentially just water, or it will be effective in makeup removal and cleansing but harsh on my sensitive skin. I first used it to remove face makeup and avoided my eye area, as I was worried it was going to irritate my eyes. I figured I would try it on my face first, as makeup removers that hurt my eyes often sting my skin as well. I found the micellar water wiped away my makeup so effortlessly and didn't burn, no scrubbing or rubbing needed, and I then felt confident enough to try to remove my eye makeup with it. I was incredibly surprised at how easily it removed my rather heavy eye makeup, and with no irritation whatsoever. That was a first for me, makeup removers are usually either oil based or heavy with alcohol but this product contains neither of those. It also has no scent at all, which is great for sensitive skin. I really love this stuff, I will purchase it when I run out & recommend it to anyone looking for a good micellar water!

I've enjoyed using this moisturizer since my skin has become much more dry from the cold weather. It's fantastic first thing in the morning after cleansing. The texture is very gel like (hence the name) and I did not find it to be greasy at all. It really does hydrate quickly and absorb into the skin, which is perfect for tight scheduled mornings. It also lists that it contains glycerin as the second most used ingredient, which if you didn't know, is what is used in many makeup primers to grab onto product such as foundation. For me, in a pinch, it doubles as moisturizer and primer when doing my makeup and holds up pretty well throughout the day. I would say I noticed my skin becoming more glowy after about 3 or 4 days of continuous use, I wouldn't say it eliminated my fine lines, but it did a great job of hydrating those problem areas which in turn did make them less noticeable. I appreciate the fact that this product contains hyaluronic acid (incredibly moisturizing ingredient), antioxidants and vitamins C & E, which my current moisturizer does not contain (Vichy Idealia Life Serum, that is). As this is more affordable than my current moisturizer, I may be switching over to this one for good. I would recommend it to anyone who is struggling with dry skin! -

I purchased this powder to go along with its matching liquid foundation to use as a setting powder. My first impression was that it was a great formula, it matched well with the foundation and definitely helped my foundation stay in place. My only complaint is that it tends to cling to dry patches and make them look worse, so I would avoid problem areas with this product. Other than that, it sat nicely everywhere else and gives a very flawless look to your face. -
