This brush was purchased to replace a very rough blush brush that came in a set of 10 other brushes that were all of much better quality than the blush brush. It has a bamboo handle and is made of recycled materials, and comes in a eco friendly pouch that you can keep it in, though I prefer to keep my brushes together in a brush set bag. It is very soft and has multiple uses. I use it to apply pressed translucent powder to my entire face, to apply bronzer, to contour and to apply powder blush. It picks up product well and applies it evenly. It's also great for blending everything together to get a nice, even complexion upon completing your makeup application. It's very sturdy and well made, and even better, all EcoTools products are 100% cruelty free. I plan to purchase different types of EcoTools brushes in the future because they seem to be of good quality. The downside is that I have to wait for my local Walmart to order a larger variety of EcoTools brushes because shipping to Canada is not available on their website, unfortunately. -

I purchased Rimmel's EXAGGERATE Full Color Lip Liner in shade 018 Addiction to line my lips and fill it in with my Elf Matte Lip Color in shade Natural (I've posted review of the Elf Matte Lip Color on its own as well) The Rimmel lip liner in 018 Addiction is a natural mauve/dusty rose color, and just slightly darker than my natural lip color. It is also slightly darker than the Elf color I previously mentioned, which is a lighter shade of dusty rose. I purchased it with the intention of only using it as a liner, but liked it enough that I now often fill in my entire lip with this lip liner. It's wonderfully matte, yet not TOO drying for your lips, but I expect most matte lip colors to be more of a dry formula than your regular lipstick that has some shine to it. I do have a couple issues with it, however. I would not recommend it for over-lining your lip in attempts to make them look fuller, as it tends to "bleed" when its applied to your regular skin as opposed to the skin that covers your lips. It does stay in place for a decent amount of time when applied to lips only, and its great for a nude lip look with a little touch of color. Also, the lip liner is a plastic pencil shape that twists up, and the plastic is slanted where the lip liner comes out. This is great for helping it to not snap off if you apply too much pressure, but I found that it gets in the way sometimes, especially for trying to line your cupids bow, the plastic can sometimes wipe/scrape the liner right off again. Other than that, I am really happy with the product. I would buy it again, but I'm not so committed that I wont try other lip liners in search for a better one. -

I have heard a lot of good things about The Nudes palette so when I saw it in store and saw it was only $14 I had to grab it. There are 12 shades in the palette, so for me it worked out to about $1.17 per shade, not bad at all! It comes in a chic little black case and includes a double ended sponge tip applicator, which is pretty much useless in my opinion, as are any other sponge tip applicators I've used. The palette has 5 matte shades that range from nude/beige to black, and 7 more shimmery shades that also range from a light champagne to dark brown and includes a golden shade and a brassy shade. It has everything you need to do a fabulous matte eye or a shimmery smokey eye all in one palette. The shades are quite pigmented and lasted me all day, even without eyelid primer. The palette also has 3 sets of instructions for creating 3 different looks printed on the back for: Quad, Trio & Duo colored shadow looks. It also states that this is able to create 13 different looks using one palette, and offers swatches and how-to's at maybelline.com/eyeshadow. I absolutely adore it, I think this is the best and most versatile palette Maybelline has come out with in a while! -

After it took a lot longer than we expected to get pregnant, and after purchasing WAY TOO MANY pregnancy tests that always came up negative, we decided to try a different kind of test. We purchased the First Response Digital Ovulation Test and gave them a try. I can only assume that they were accurate, because a few months later we were expecting! It was great for helping us get the timing just right, and we got to do it at home rather than in a doctors office. It was overall a great experience with this product, I really have no complaints. -

I recently ordered this product online, which I don't usually do, as I like to try the testers that are available in store. I was pleasantly surprised with this face primer! Its nice and light, feels great on the face, and keeps my makeup in place for the entire day. Not to mention the price, I paid only $6 for this amazing product. But, I have to say, my absolute favorite thing about e.l.f. products is that they are all CRUELTY FREE! No testing on animals, no reason to feel guilty about looking fabulous all day long! -

This product really does live up to its 24 hour stay claim. First you apply the colored gloss/stain, wait for it to dry and then put on a coat of the clear balm that comes with it. It literally will not move from your lips, and you'll have quite a task at hand when you remove your makeup at the end of the day. Completely worth it though, you can sip away on your coffee or tea mug without a single worry. It doesn't come off on mugs, glasses or clothing and it certainly doesn't smudge. Love this product! -

This is a great eyeshadow, it comes in a little compact with 3 different colored palettes. What I like most about this eyeshadow is that it is a wet or dry formula. If you want a subtle look, apply the eyeshadow dry. Its shimmery and well pigmented. If you want a dramatic look, apply it wet. Just make your brush or whatever tool you're using wet, rub it into the color you want and it will basically turn it into a cream shadow, then apply as usual. Once it dries, it will not smudge or run and is very long lasting. I would certainly recommend this, as it doubles as a cream shadow when its wet. -

You can also sweep a bit of this powder across your face with a large makeup brush to get a nice summery, dewy glow or use it as a sort of body glitter. I've even sprinkled some on my hair a few times when I've had an elegant up-do, it makes your hair smell great and it gives a subtle sparkle to it. Its worth your money and time to buy this, because it can be used in so many different ways! -

I bought this eyeshadow in 001 smokey noir and use it on a regular basis. It comes with 4 different (but matching) shades and is great for doing a smokey eye look. I also like it because since it has 4 shades, its like getting 4 eye shadows for the price of one. You can use all 4 together for a dramatic look, or just stick to one or two different shades for a more subtle look. The product stays on your face really well, so minimal touch ups are needed. I would definitely recommend this to my fellow gals who love the smouldering, smokey eye look! -

These wipes are a part of my everyday cleansing and moisturizing routine. They refresh and hydrate your skin with vitamin E and Hydra IQ and they also double as makeup removal wipes. These wipes have really helped me get rid of blemishes and dry patches of skin on my face. They come in a small, resealable plastic bag that includes 25 wipes. They're a tad expensive at around 8 or 9 dollars for 25 wipes, but I assure you it is well worth your money. I recommend them for YOUR everyday beauty routine, too! -
