A great family movie. Very entertaining for both adults and kids, and who doesn't love a talking dog?? "Squirrel!"
Mr. Frederickson, a 78 year old Balloon Salesman who recently lost his wife of 50 years (in a very touching scene), unwittingly teams up with a young scout trying to earn a badge. Over the course of the movie they become friends as they try to save each other and finally get Frederickson's home to the magical place he promised his wife, Ellie, that they would visit one day. Great cast, funny and imaginative.

Although Dick Van Dyke could never quite master the British accent (he always sounded phony), the rest of the cast were excellent. -
M&M;'s are a great snack, especially during movie time. I always get them at the theatres too. Available in plain or peanut and sometimes with peanut butter. A great snack. And I love their commercials too! :)

An oldie but a goodie. From Don Bluth who started his career with Disney, this story is about a group of rats who have special abilities thanks to the scientific experiments which were conducted on them when they were captive at NIMH - a secret place. Dom Deluise lends his voice to the movie as the scatterbrained crow, who helps Mrs. Brisby despite his best efforts. -

A classic. Robin Wright and Cary Elwes star in this romantic fantasy with Pirates, Giants, Witches and evil henchmen at every turn. Mythological creatures which, in 1979, looked pretty good on the screen however are campy and fun 25 years later.

I was surprised how good this movie actually was. A star studded cast (Clooney, Damon, Murray, Goodman, Blanchett) who work well together and play off of each other with finesse. A fun story (most of the time) that keeps you glued to the screen until the end. An "incredible true story of the seven art historians and museum curators who went behind enemy lines during World War II on a mission to recover some of the world's greatest works of art". It was amazing what lengths they went to, to get back these wonderful pieces. A great Saturday night flick. -
Good local bar. Good pub food but weird onion rings. How do they get the rings around the rings? Beer's cold, food's hot and they have a patio. Doesn't get better than that.

We always get our farm-fresh corn from Strouds. Anywhere else, it's just not the same. They have fabulous produce and yummy baked goods. Wonderful fresh tomatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, squashes, onions, etc. I haven't had a bad thing yet. A great way to help support local farmers.
