We tried Stingin Hot Honey from The Halifax Honey Company during a wine and charcuterie board party with friends and it instantly became the star of the night. Drizzled over crackers with cheese and cured meats, the honey added a balanced sweet heat that paired beautifully with every bite. We also tested it on pizza and it brought that wow factor we did not expect. The flavour is bold but not overpowering which makes it really versatile. You can use it on everything from appetizers to takeout nights and it will always elevate the food. We also love that it is Canadian made and easy to find at Sobeys and on Amazon. This hot honey will be a new staple in our kitchen.

We went in a little skeptical because we’re used to regular beef or pork hot dogs, but these Turkey Franks are juicy, flavourful, and cook in minutes. The texture was spot on and there was no weird aftertaste, which was our biggest worry. They felt lighter than beef or pork franks but still tasted like a proper hot dog. Definitely something we’d grab again for an easy lunch or BBQ.

We don’t usually eat turkey bacon, but this one honestly surprised us. The Applewood smoke hits you as soon as you open the pack, and it cooks up really fast. We got it nice and crispy without it being greasy. The flavour’s legit smoky and savoury but it feels lighter than regular bacon, so we didn’t feel heavy after. We actually ended up snacking on a few extra slices while making breakfast. The best part is that it is 85 percent less fat than bacon so it means that we can eat it more often without feeling too guilty but it still satisfies that bacon craving.

As someone who eats a lot (and is constantly filming food content), keeping my breath fresh is a must and TheraBreath Whitening Oral Rinse definitely helps with that. The mint flavour is bold and refreshing. It says “non-burning,” but I felt a bit of a tingle. Honestly, I didn’t mind. It felt like it was doing something and I’m used to that feeling from other mouth wash that I use.
I haven’t seen noticeable whitening yet, but I plan to keep using it daily and will update my thoughts. Overall, the product feels clean, the packaging is sleek, and it fits easily into my routine. Solid addition to my bathroom shelf!

As two people who grew up in Asian households, we’ve all had that moment of panic when your mom’s about to walk through the door and you realize… you forgot to make the rice. The Rice Stuff Box came in clutch.
We tried the Pineapple Fried Rice. We were pleasantly surprised by how good it was. We loved that it was so flavourful. You just tear it open, pour in hot water, wait seven minutes (or microwave it if you’re in a real rush), and it’s ready to eat right out of the box. It’s packed with real veggies, has a sweet and savoury flavour, and the texture of the rice is actually fluffy not mushy like some other “instant” meals.
We love that it’s vegan, gluten-free, and lower in sodium than most instant noodles. It’s a solid option for when you’re running out the door, need a quick lunch between meetings, or are just too tired to cook. Definitely something we’ll keep around for emergency hunger moments.
Bonus points for being a Canadian brand and family-owned 👏

Then we tried it straight from the jar… and yeah it kicked us in the face a bit 😂 It’s definitely spicy. But not the kind that burns your soul you still get that lemongrass garlic and ginger shining through.
Texture’s chunky, thick, and super fresh nothing like those watery store-bought sambals. Made in Toronto from a family recipe and it actually tastes homemade.
Appreciate @lost.in.the.sauce.to for this one. We’ll be using it again maybe just not by the spoonful next time.
