I had the pleasure of trying the Nestle Noir Mousse Delicate chocolates. All I can stay is HEAVENLY! The packaging was fantastic; each chocolate was placed into separate compartments in the box. Because they were delivered by mail, they were in the softer side so I decided to pop them in the fridge before eating them. There are 10 pieces in each box; each piece is about 50 calories. I preferred the milk chocolate while my co-tester preferred the dark one. The inner "mousse" reminded me almost like how an Aero bar tastes like and how it instantly melts in your mouth. -

I usually don't use drugstore foundations, but I am really liking this product! The first thing that I noticed was its non-greasy texture. It went on smooth on the face without needing to pat it down with a mineral powder. Its light and medium sheer, so this is useful during the summer months. The name is kind of a throw off - it doesn't sound attractive at all :) I can see myself using the whole bottle this summer.. I recommend this for people who are looking for some minimal coverage that looks flawless on your skin :) -

I've received the Yes To products to review. First, I tried the Yes to Tomatoes Tender Touch Hand Cream..I really like this product mainly because its non-greasy. I usually get my hand cream in travel size because I always take it in my purse, therefore the only bad thing I can think of is its huge size. its 100ml, so I can't take it with me everywhere which is a bummer :) I like the smell and I can see myself using this for a long time. This is probably my mom's favourite product out of all of them! -

I never really used body mist on a regular basis, so I was definitely keen to try out the Pure C Body Mist as part of the Yes to Carrots line. While I was reading their brochure, the key ingredients that jumped out at me are the organic carrot, pumpkin, sweet potato which all have beta-carotene (isn't that what your hair is made out of?!). I love that they also included the dead sea minerals, dead sea mudt and some gingko biloba which help boosts the skin's circulation. I am still getting used to the smell (i am partial to fruity smell), but since it is an organic and natural product, it smells clean and soothing. I love putting this on after shower and before I go to sleep. Great for aromatherapy too :) -

This is one of my favourite products from the Yes To brands. I was hesitant to try it at first because I've always used either Cetaphil or Dermalogica as my cleanser, but I was completely surprised when I got to try on this particular brand. It contains organic watermelon that removes excess oils and also has dead sea minerals and anti oxidant from organic tomatoes that keeps the skin clear and refreshed. With that being said, its recommend for oil to combination skin. I do have an oily T-line, so this is great for me. I would highly recommend this for those who are looking for an excellent cleanser with a great price! -

Yes To Cucumbers daily makeover conditioner is a great product for those with colour treated hair. I've been using this for a while and I enjoy the how my hair feels afterwards. It leaves a clean and moisturizing after feel and its infused with organic cucumbers, aloe vera and green tea. It has loads of hydrating and soothing anti-oxidants to nourish the hair. It comes in a 500 ml bottle which will probably last you for 3-4 months (its that big!). -

I received this product to review from ChickAdvisor. I'm very impressed with the new Lise Watier Sea Belle Quartet in Lagoon. I've always liked blue shades, so I got super excited when I got this to try out. As the picture shows, there are three shades of blue and an off white colour. The aqua shade is used on the lid, turquoise on the brow bone and the royal blue for contour. The off white is used to add light under the brow and used as a high lighter. The quality is obviously high brand, but I found that its more effective when you use a primer as a base. The packaging is absolutely fabulous - I really like the mirror! The only negative thing I can say about this product are the applicators which I found them dull and flimsy. I would use an actual brush to apply these shades. Overall, I give this product a thumbs up! -

I recently had the chance to go to Brassaii with friends. My impression was "damn, huge ceiling!". It definitely has a industrial feel to it..a place you would normally see at the distillery district - not king st! I had the salmon and the french onion soup which was delicious. The fish was cooked just right and I wouldn't have it any other way. The waiter was super nice and friendly which was a big plus. I will definitely go back there for brunch in the patio during the summer. -

I love love love this company. I can't say enough great things about their natural skin care products, especially their soaps. Based in New Market, the owner makes all of her soaps by hand. I had a great time chatting with her and got an awesome deal compared to other places. I bought three soaps in berry loofah, rosemary & grapefruit and hippy days. The berry loofah is basically a loofah infused in hard glycerin that smells like berry - hello!?? Rosemary & Grapefruit is loaded with find group pumice stone which is excellent for the feet and Hippy Days is basically an overall moisturizing bar made with essential oils and sweet orange. I've tried all of them and they're just heaven. They're so great when you come back from the gym and take a long hot shower. I see myself using this more and more in the coming months.. -
