I've been doing Hatha yoga for a number of years ago, so I decided to take a step up and try Hot Yoga at Moksha Yoga in Scarborough. First off, I love the serene and calm environment. The staff was friendly and informative. I initially thought the room will feel like a sauna, but it was not as hot and steamy obviously. However, once you get your heart running and the sweat up, you'll feel like hot yoga is some what a little challenging than the regular hatha yoga. I've been doing hot yoga for about a month and I love every bit of it. What a way to get rid of the toxins! Its a little pricey ($17 per session), but I think its worth it because I think its making my skin flawless :) -

Oh what an amazing mask! Its so refreshing to see an all-natural mask with fresh avocado, yogurt, almonds and all good things. Its an overall great mask for normal skin. It does a great work at deep cleansing all your pores and leaving the face refreshed. In fact, my skin looks noticeably better now that I use this mask. It will run over $8 for a very small package of the product. I think its worth it, but some may not as the product's self life is only about 3 weeks. I do it couple of times a week to really use up all the products before it expires. -

Great product for both dry and oily skin. Its apparently the most popular product at Lush, so that says something! I like using this in the morning once a week as I have normal skin. Daily use for those with oily skin. It takes away any dirt that builds up over time and gives it a refreshing feeling. The smell is a bit citrus which doesn't bother me at all. I'm pretty sure I would buy it again once I'm done the product which will take forever! Also, it comes in a cute lush package. -

I randomly picked this dvd up for valentines day. I didn't realize how much I would like this movie! Its about a son who inherits his father's shoe factory only to realize that they weren't making any profits by just making men's shoe. He stumbles upon a dragqueen one night and thats where the story really begins. The story is essentially about transforming the factory into dragqueen shoes specifically for men who have a hard time wearing women's heels. Its corky, funny and entertaining.. Its definitely a feel-good movie that looks at the lives of transvestites while finding the niche to get the general audience laughing. Some great chuckles along the way - I would highly recommend this to everyyonee. -

One of my favourite places to go on a Sunday morning. This all day breakfast diner is no secret to those living in the east end of Toronto. Its cheap, hearty and service is always given with a smile. I always order the cheese omelet which comes with home fries and toasts for about $ 8.99. The best place about this is that its 24/7! So even when its 3 am and you're uber hungry for some grease, this is the place to go. Its always packed over the weekends, so you may have to wait in line. I love the family style atmosphere and you'll always see me there...most Sundays!

Sometimes after a long workout, I have muscle aches on my thighs and on my back. I usually try to brush them away, but I found that the lush wiccy really helps eliviate some of the pain. Essentially, it is a massage bar which really becomes very creamy once it contact with the hands. You smother it all over the achy muscles and you literally massage the areas. The cinnamon leaf is very warming on the skin and the Aduki beans seem to help this warmth penetrate. I personally love it not only for its effectively, but I love how it smells. My mother has one of her own and uses it for her stretch marks. It feels so great after a long day's work, especially if you have someone to rub it all over you. -

This is my ultimate favourite lush product. Its an exfoliator infused in lavender, shea butter, ground rice, almonds and aduki beans that makes the skin feel so smooth and moisturized. I use this as the very last thing when I shower. I use it all over my body, but I usually have very dry skin on my legs so this helps tremendously. I can't get enough of this! -

I received this as part of the Product Review Club. Like many of the reviewers, I really like the packaging which may answer the question "Why is it called Stiletto?". Its sleek, attractive and is shaped like the heel of a stiletto. The idea is pretty interesting, but I was looking at the quality and the effectiveness of the whole product. Personally, I found everything quite lacking. The lashes did not curl as much as I would like (an eye curler may have produced a better result, frankly). This may be because the bristles were not uniformed and shaped like Maybelline's previous mascara (Colossal). True, it did not "clump" and gave it a natural look, but this is because it didn't exactly curl! Although I like the innovation, I personally would not purchase this product neither would I recommend it to my friends. I love love the Colossal mascara, so I'm sticking to that :) Thanks Maybelline and ChickAdvisor for the opportunity to review the Stiletto! -

I absolutely love this product. If you have very dry skin like me in the winter time, you will love this as much as I do. Yes To Carrots C Through The Dry Spell contains carrot seed oil, carrot juice, pumpkin, sweet potatoe and dead sea mud.Like all of their products, this is also paraben free.
I usually put it all over after taking a shower so it keeps my skin hydrated and moisturized for a long time. The texture itself is a heavy cream base so a little goes a long way. Because it is very dense, I love how it gives me an oily feel afterwards. The smell is fantastic and I can't praise about it enough.
I've already recommended this to my close friends, so this is definitely something I would invest in during winter time.

This is one of my favourite purchases of 2008. I was looking for an alternative cleanser from the Cetaphil I had been using for the past few years. I was getting couple of blemish spots on my cheeks and bumps on my forehead, so I decided to splurge on the Dermalogica Ultra Calming Cleanser. I've read great reviews about this, so I was pretty confident of the quality of the product. And boy was I right! The Ultra Calming Cleanser, much like my Cetaphil, has a thick, opaque and creamy texture. It doesn't create foam which I really like (I live my cleansers clean!). After three weeks of this, my blemishes have slowly disappeared and the bumps on my forehead are no more! Mind you, I've also been going au natural everyday so the no-make up fuss may also have contributed to my "clearer" face. Personally, this cleanser is an investment as I don't have to waste make up to cover my dark spots! Also, it's keeping my face healthy and hydrated, especially for the winter. All you need is really a dime size portion every day and you will eventually see results within a month. Yes, it is expensive. Its $80~ for a bottle. However, you can't compare it to drug store brands because you really get what you pay for! -
