I noticed right away the eucalyptus and sage smell. It's present, but it doesn't overpower. The Shea butter made me very happy as it's truly a great ingredient. I noticed it went on smooth and it didn't clump. During the day I didn't feel smelly. What I like about the Hello line as I read more about it is that the scents are natural-based and are great for anyone (no "pink tax" markup). I would definitely purchase this; in fact, I'm enjoying it over my current deodorant (and that's saying something!). -

As an anti-cavity and sensitivity-relief toothpaste, this formula is nice. While brushing the toothpaste starts to foam and envelope teeth in protection. It’s not harsh, but it does take some water to help wipe it off my lips as it gets stuck in the grooves and crevices. There is some gentle whitening happening after about a week, but it’s minimal at best. -

J'ai reçu via Butterly et ChickAdvisor un paquet de Clarins Double Serum pour expériencer durant une temps de 7 jours. Ce que j'apprécie immédiatement c'est les flacons imbriqués qui limitent les déchets. En ce qui concerne le sérum soi-même: la texture c'est agréable et je peux sentir bien la différence après trois jours d'usage. Ma peau était confortable et la texture réduise aussi. Les deux huiles mélangent bien pour couvrir tout mon visage. -

I like that this cleansing oil doesn’t have an overpowering scent. It isn’t too sticky and it’s a good consistency; a little goes a long way. I received a sachet and it had enough product for two washes for heavy makeup. My skin felt fully clean and there wasn’t any mascara left behind! I didn’t have any breakouts and it worked splendidly when followed with a mild cleanser as part of a double-cleanse regime. I would definitely purchase this and recommend it to my friends and family as a great cleansing oil option. -

I’m used to these types of cleansing brushes, but what intrigued me was this Flawless cleanse could double as both for washing your face AND applying serum. I find myself using this exclusively for applying my serum as I find my cream and sunscreen apply much better. I find this brush definitely helps with keeping my face feeling clean and I do find I have less breakouts with consistent use to help apply my serum now. -

I like this dry shampoo as it contains sustainable ingredients. I find it has a pleasant scent and does provide some texture to my hair. My one gripe is it doesn’t really absorb the oil. Although it leaves hair feeling refreshed, I can still feel and see the oil. I still like it and I will use it, but it’s definitely one of those “use the day after you shampoo your hair” and not much past that point. -

Butterly and Covergirl sent me the new Covergirl Simply Ageless Lash Plumping Mascara to test out in exchange for my honest review. I love that this mascara contains Hyaluronic Complex and Bamboo Serum. This mascara also doesn't cause itchy eyes. Although this contains Hyaluronic Complex, I found it smudged easily. I really wanted to love this, but it just smeared and it was also tough to get off. I found I needed to use a heavy-duty oil balm and let it sit to avoid finding mascara on my eyes the next morning. I did see a bit of improvement in terms of it helping strengthen my eyelashes. I've been using it for almost 3 weeks and although they feel hydrated, I'm going to have to pass. The intent is there, but I feel having hyaluronic acids in mascara only spells trouble for smudging as the mascara won't dry and bind properly. I would be curious to see how this worked in the winter when it's drier and not humid; I feel that launching in the summer didn't give this mascara a good start. -

I received a coupon from Canada Dry and Butterly to test out and review the new Canada Dry Triple Berry Club Soda. Surprisingly I find myself liking this, as I was initially put off by the club soda aspect. This ranks up there in flavour with other sparkling water beverages. What's great as well is that it's low in sodium, unsweetened, and naturally-flavoured. As someone who doesn't drink sugary pop drinks, Canada Dry Triple Berry Club Soda gets my approval - I'll definitely be repurchasing this again! -

I got this in the Sephora Vacay all Day set. I am actually surprised how much I enjoy this product, as I am not a fan of cream blushes. However, the trick is to apply some on the back of your hand then use a stippling brush to gently work it onto the cheeks. I love that this colour (Werk) is neutral and can work with a wide array of looks - from bare face to full foundation. It doesn’t break down when stippled on top of foundation, and it does hold well. I find the colour is still there after 8+ hours of work and commuting. Although this is considered the mini size, you will definitely get bang for your buck if you apply a bit to your hand and then work it in (in place of applying directly to the skin). You can also build up how saturated the colour is with no issues. I will definitely be repurchasing this when I run out! -

This primer is worth the investment. A little goes a long way and I love that it comes with a disk to help measure the product needed to scrape out. This is by far my favourite primer as it covers the face with ease, doesn’t break down, and it doesn’t cause my skin irritation or breakouts. It works well under foundation and it helps keep everything locked in place. On days where I don’t want to wear foundation, this primer is great because it helps smooth the skin and protect any face creams under it in order to promote product absorption into the skin. -
