I am a huge fan of Grown Alchemist products so I was psyched to be able to try this primer from them for free in return for my honest review. And in that regard, I honestly love it! I use different primers for different products. When I'm feeling a more matte, blurred pore moment, I always reach for one with a silicone base. The problem with silicone is that is can hard to remove from the skin which can lead to irritation and acne. So, its something I reach for less and less. And now, with this Grown Alchemist primer, I'll never have to reach for it again. The texture is almost identical. I have no idea how they did it but it is amazing. It might from the fructose, something I didn't even know you could put in a primer. Texture wise, its silky and smooth. It immediately blurs all fine lines and fills those pores beautifully. It makes the perfect canvas for any look imagined. It is scented but it is a light, botanical smell. Which makes sense since this primer is packed full of a bunch of natural goodies such as Mushroom Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Orange Peel Extract, Rosemary Leaf Oil, Bergamot Fruit Oil, Moringa Seed Extract, Lemon Peel Oil, Balsam Resin, and Ginger Root Oil. Thats a crazy amount of nature in one bottle! I did use this primer many times and with a bunch of different skincare and makeup and I found that it played nicely with just about everything. I only had a little piling with one sunsreen and it wasn't super bad. I just used a big fluffy brush to get the piling off my face and everything else stayed perfect. Added bonus for a product that also protects the skin from pollution and all other manner of nasties.
I only have one little con and that would be the price. She ain't cheap! But, at little goes a really long way so this 50ml tube should last awhile. This is definitely a product that I could see myself buying again and again.

I am very happy to say that I received this product for free in return for my honest review. I'm even more happy to say how much I love this product but more importantly, how it is packaged! We now live in a day and age where we expect more from brands regarding their enviromental footprint. So to see companies actually step up and provide us with something that we can feel good about buying, it makes me sit up and take note. I am already in love with the body wash itself. It has been a staple in my home and my parents home, since I was a child. It not only does the job, it leaves the skin feeling moisturized and supple afterwards. Especially in our harsh Canadian winters, this body wash doesn't leave the skin feeling dry and tight after showers. Then to put it in a refillable package that saves 80% plastic when manufactured, that just puts it over the top. On top of the fact that it is already a very affordable option, you really just can't beat this body wash. I definitely recommend it and I will continue to purchase it for the rest of my life! -

This is one of those staple products that has been around me since I was a child so when I found out that I was going to receive this body wash for free in return for my honest review, I was over the moon with happiness! I have always, always suffered with horribly dry skin in the winter. Harsh Canadian winters are unbearable sometimes. Everything just feels so tight and itchy. So, I learned early on from my mother, you have to combat that in multiple ways. Stay super hydrated, don't have extra hot showers, use really good moisturizer and always use Aveeno's Daily Moisturizing Body Wash in the shower. I didn't have this in my current routine untul Butterly sent me this bottle and man, was I suffering. As soon as I started using this regularly in combination with what I listed above, so much relief! I've stopped carving trenches into my calves in the middle of the night. My hands, which are generally the worst part for me, have become much more supple. My entire body simply doesn't feel tight and dry when I get out of the shower and it continues like that for the rest of the day. I'm grateful for this product and just how well this formulation works for my skin. Plus it reminds me of my mom so it is a big win for me! I would a 1000% buy this again and I already recommend it to everyone who will listen. It is just one of those really great, super affordable staple products that everyone should have in their home, especially during winter. -

My husband has always been an Irish Spring guy. And always in bar form, absolutely no body washes. So, to be able to get this product for free for him to review simply made his day! After the first shower, he was hooked on this Aloe Mist version. He's never strayed from the original but was happy to try something new. He loves the smell because it really isn't that much differernt than the original. The lather is still perfect and it leaves the skin feeling super clean. The biggest change he noticed, and this was what made him enjoy this version above the original, was how his skin felt after the shower. He is generally a fan if the squeaky clean feeling. (Personally, not my favourite but he likes what he likes!) The aloe version did not give him that but it did give him moisture. He felt like his skin was more hydrated and not stripped of oils like some other soaps do. He now says that this will be his go to from now on. And considering how incredibly affordable Irish Spring is, I have zero problem stocking up on this new favourite of his. -

I've tried a lot of different cleansers over the last year. I work in a very grimy field and on the days I don't work, I love wearing a full face of makeup. So, I wash my face. A lot. I've been bouncing between at least a dozen different cleansers and besides a good cleansing balm to use as my first step, I wasn't really satisfied until I tried this cleansing oil. I got it for free to test and review through Butterly and it came in a large sample bottle and literally the only critique I can give this is the bottle itself. You have to have a pump with a product this liquidy. I always pore too little or too much with just a standard bottle opening. Besides that, this product was perfect. It took all the grime, makeup and sunscreen off so easily. Some days I wouldn't even bother with double cleansing and just use this product on its own. It does have a scent but it isn't overpowering and kind of reminds of a hair oil, like argan. It's a clean and fresh smell, and doesn't really last after you rinse it off so hopefully it isn't a big deal for those who aren't huge scent lovers. My favourite part of this oil is how my face feels afterwards. Obviously, its an oil so it makes sense to not be drying like many cleansers can be. But it is more than that. My skin feels hydrated and super soft. It is exactly how you want your skin to feel when it is clean. Overall, it is just a really nice cleansing oil and I would 100% purchase this for myself going forward -

I was so grateful to receive this product for free to test and review. And it came at the perfect time as i was just about to replace my other mascara. Now, to the product. This cover girl plumping mascara is something special. I love that it is a multipurpose product. Instead of fusing with 3 different things, I've got my primer, serum and mascara all in one. Plus all the added benefits with the inclusion of hyaluronic acid as well as its ability to treat the lashes themselves. I cant completely vouch to its promise of thicker, longer, stronger lashes simply because I haven't yet used it for 4 weeks but I love this product regardless of all that so those would just be an added bonus if I do end up with those results eventually. Regarding application, the wand shape definitely made it easy to cover each lash quite well. It is a very wet formula so you have to be prepared for a little cleanup post application and maybe more so if you have hooded eyelids. This isn't a waterproof product. Which is nice because it comes off so easily when washing my face. Now, regarding the actual look of my lashes after application. Tonnes of beautiful length and volume. And additional coats just extend that, but without making anything look clumpy or spider leg like. And, on top of everything else, this is an affordable, drug store product. You just can't beat all the perks of this mascara. I will definitely be buying it as soon as this one runs out -

I was very happy to receive this product for free to test and review. It came just in time for the warm weather and it was the perfect treat to indulge in after being outside in the heat. I don't generally buy a lot of sorbet so I'm very happy to have gotten the chance to try this one because wow, was it ever tasty! I love that when I started scooping it, I could see all the beautiful swirls of the different flavours. This particular trio with the cherry, peach and passion fruit works so nicely together. And while they blend well all one, you can still pick out all the individual flavours. It's a really interesting taste experience. It is also super smooth and creamy and it satisfies an ice cream craving without all the heavy calories. It's almost hard to believe that this product is fat, lactose and cholesterol free! But honestly, the very best part of this sorbet is the company that makes it. I am a huge Chapman's fan. I love that they have options for gluten and peanut free. I love that their products are chocked full of natural ingredients. And I really love that their packaging is certified to the Sustainable Forestry Initiative. I will, 100%, be buying this product again. I can't wait to serve this at my next BBQ! -

I received this as a sample to try for free to review. As someone with combination skin that tends to lean to more oily, I've realized that the best type of moisturizers for my skin are those with a gel base or something with more a watery consistancy that soaks quickly into the skin and doesn't leave a residue. This is exactly what this Covergirl water cream did. It is very lightly scented which was nice. It had a very silky consistancy, a little went a long way, it absorbed immediately and it left my skin feeling soft, plump and full of moisture. I would 100% recommend and buy it. I think it would make a close, affordable dupe for some of the higher end water creams -

I am not kidding, this milk was almost impossible to find. And it wasn't because stores didn't carry it. It was just that popular. It took me forever just to find a carton to sample with the couple chick advisor gave me so I could try it for free in return for my review. When I did finally got my hands on some, I realized just why it was sold out everywhere. I'm honestly shocked at how much I love this product. I have a mild intolerance to dairy. I can drink cream in my coffee but that's about it before it really starts to irritate my belly. I'll get bloated, gassy and have loose stools and am generally just uncomfortable. It has to be a really great drink or food for me to risk feeling like that. It takes a lot of really great things off my menu. Sometimes I just crave a big bowl of cereal and I can't have. All of that has changed now with this A2 milk! The first time I tried it, I poured myself just a small glass to sample. It tastes wonderfully. Just good tasting, refreshing milk. I missed being able to have a glass of milk like that. So, I drank it, than I waited about half an hour. Nothing. No bloat, no gas, I felt completely fine. Then it was time to push the limits. I poured a cascade of sugary cereal into a nice big bowl and filled that sucker to the brim with milk. I joyfully ate every last bite and, and this is something I almost never do, I drank the milk that was left. Gloriously, I felt nothing but a bit of a sugar rush and a contentedly full belly. I don't know how this would be with something with full blown dairy intolerance but if you're like me, get it, try it and let it change your life. 10/10 I recommend and I will gladly buy again (if I can find it!) -

I was sent this product for free in exchange for my review. I have used a number of face products over the years and I haven't come across too many that I've instantly fell in love with. This is one of them! This is the first time that I've used a pressed serum and I really enjoy it. It is cooling and super refreshing on the skin and it soaks right in unbelievably quick. I find that many serums and creams that are meant to be used at night, they tend to by heavier and more sticky. You usually feel them on your face. Not this one! And the way it makes the skin feel is sublime. Soft, silky, supple. Very, very touchable. Now, I know many people are unable to cope with over scented products. This might be the only mark against this serum. It may have too much fragrance for some. For me personally, I have no problem with scents and, in fact, I'm in love with the scent of this. And so is my husband! Which says something because usually once I put all my night products on, he tries to stay away from my face. Not with this one! I need Neutrogena to make this into a body lotion so I can coat myself in it. It is just that good! And, you can't beat the price. I already have another jar of it on the way. Go and get it! You will not be disappointed -
