One of the best matte lip products ever! I have Antwerp, and it's the most gorgeous, bright (but not too bright) pinky-coral colors. It's ridiculously inexpensive (about $6) and blends into lips like a dream. It takes a few seconds to dry, and then it's there to stay on your lips for 5-6 hours. Once it fades, it does so evenly and leaves a pretty stain. Some people have complained that it's drying, but obviously it won't be moisturizing since it's a matte product. If you moisturize your lips before applying this, you won't dry them out at all. Five stars all the way! -

This seemed like such a fun novelty item when I picked it up, and I have Hot Tamale (one of the most vibrant hues), and it barely showed up! It has an interesting cream texture, but once you blend it in it practically disappears. You have to layer at least 3 times for any color payoff, and at that point it looks unnatural and clown-like. Definitely don't recommend, and not worth even a dollar. -

Not the greatest BB I've tried, but it has pretty good sun protection (SPF 30) and a nice, blendable formulation (although it might be a bit too thin and liquidy for some). It hardly covers anything so you need a concealer if you have ANY discoloration/spots, but that's exactly what a BB does, so that's fine. You don't get too much in the tube, but it makes it perfect for popping into makeup bags and travel cases. Not the best, but good enough value. -

L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream
My holy grail hand cream. No other hand cream works besides this, and it's so hydrating even in the winter! It smells lovely and light, but not cloyingly sweet. Although it's pricey, it's worth it for me since it nourishes my skin so well.

I have horrible eczema, and for years I'd been looking for a body moisturizer to fit my needs without being too heavy (I'd had to use Eucerin and Aquaphor all over in the past. My skin was that bad). Curel has ceramides in it for continuous hydration, and even when I put this on after showering at night, my skin is still hydrated in the morning! It's also fragrance free, so it won't irritate sensitive skin, and it's approved by the National Eczema Association. Highly recommend if you have dry skin! -

Physicians Formula owns the pricier side of the drugstore makeup spectrum, and this powder is no exception. However, it's quite worth it since it's a nicely pigmented pressed powder that blends seamlessly and still looks natural. The oil controlling lasts a full 10 hours (although I have dry skin, so those with oilier skin may need to reapply). Overall, effective, and at least less expensive than the powders one may find in Sephora. -

Due to the lack of stickiness, it doesn't have the most amazing wear time, but I'll take that tradeoff. The color range is pretty good, and I like this as an everyday lip product. I wouldn't deem it a must have, but it's a good gloss to keep around. -

This stuff is pretty great! It doesn't smell exactly like acai and wild apple, but it's a sweet, pleasant smell nonetheless. The marbled colors look rather interesting, but it doesn't impart a tint- just a clear sheen, like any other lip balm. It's not intensely moisturizing, and not quite as good as Nivea's other offerings, but it's sufficient for everyday use (not really for people with super chapped lips, and I don't really reach for this one during the winter). It's pretty good for tossing into your bag, and the price is quite reasonable. -
